Funny, in my area nerd = anyone who's read a book. And being a bibliophile I got that alot. People who spend hours on the computer aren't usually nerds, my mom spends hours on end on a computer for work and she's far from the level of intelligence that qualifies for nerd.

Seriously though, for a tank, the Hummer isn't very well armored. Leave the tanking to the actual tanks. If the military really needs it, they can have it, but they should stop selling it to civilians.
