Wireless Routers? - Dale3k21 - 11-18-2005 Anybody else here have a wireless router? I'm sure I've bitched about it before, but it still persists, and nobody at my house seems to give a damn... An older wireless card going to a new router. Different kinds of signals, but router is still backwards compatable. It still sucks though. I've been bitching about it here at my house for damn near a year now, and still... Nobody cares. I'm surprised I'm still trying to do anything about it, since everybody I know in rl ignores me completly. I'm surprised I could stay on this long. And it's still going... HOT DAMN! A new record... At least I get some stress relievers tomorrow... Hehehe... *Winks* - Harie Krauzer - 11-18-2005 None at my house... Our area can't even have high speed yet. - etherkye - 11-19-2005 i hate wirless. - Anonmon - 11-19-2005 We've got a wireless router that routes our house's traffic through the cable modem. It's 802.11b and seems to work fine. - Dale3k21 - 11-19-2005 So then you have a b... My card is a b, but the router is a g and that's what the problem is. - Harie Krauzer - 11-20-2005 Well now we have a wirless router and my house(Just came back home). As far as I know it works okay. - Wisemon - 11-20-2005 My parents hooked one up at my house, and I have to keep re-connecting with the damn thing. - UnknownH - 11-25-2005 Yeah but I think I need a new one, this one got hit a few times during storms. I just have to turn it off every three days so it doesn't overheat. |
