RealD - Jack_Pholph - 06-18-2011

Have any of you seen a movie with some of those new RealD 3d glasses? It's blurry without the glasses right? Well I looked into it and it turns out all the do is project two videos of the same movie within a couple pixels of each other. So I snagged a pair from the theaters and have been playing around with some pics to see if I could duplicate the effect. I still need to work at it but this is what I have so far. Well, as a matter of fact I happen to have a pair of them right here! ^_^ I can't say for sure, as I'm viewing this on an iPod with a protection screen on it, but I don't see any 3D resultant effects... Though the resultant light bending makes her nipplies appear different colour depending on the viewing angle Twisted the blurriness does go away though, and it does look sharper, so I think you're the right track. I think you just need more specifics from research about how to make specific effects, then just go from there ^_^ in either case, thx for the smexy Krystal pic X3

RealD is a technology for movies, not still photos. The two images spaced apart is called stereoscopic. Get some red/cyan glasses, download this program: http://www.stereoeye.jp/software/index_e.html and throw your picture in there. Unfortunately color is not the best, but it will give you much better 3-D.

Also playing with your distance helps increase depth, but like I said I'm pretty sure RealD is not for still images.

Wow! Just tried changing the distance away thing, and her nipples seemed to "pop out" a bit Shocked it wasn't like very dramatic or anything, but it was enough to notice a difference.

Why does it seem to be so hard to give all anthropomorphic video game babes knockers as big as those?

Just sayin'.

RE: RealD - johalt - 06-19-2011

(a tad off topic my friend ^_^ though... I'm guessing... Cause not all can wear them so well? *scratches head*)

RE: RealD - DragonMasterX - 06-19-2011

How is it off-topic if I'm talking about the picture presented by the original poster? Isn't this what on-topic'ness entails ? :P

Either way, I already knew the glasses thing from a picture about beer in "3D" they made for a magazine ad this year. Now if everyone could be as creative as Jack 'ere, I'd pay more attention. *eyes glued to the screen*

Yay 3D boobies, just wish I had a pair of those glasses T_T

RE: RealD - Jack_Pholph - 06-19-2011

Thanks for the link Reclaimer, but in theory if the image shift's about 3-5 pixels in the up down right and left position's, in a GIF video, then I might be able to pull off a 3d image using stereoscopy. Maybe if I increase the depth I could make it "pop" more, or just send it straight to spectroscopy, AKA red light diode hologram, and be the first person to make actual 3d porn, a bit farfetched I'll admit, but the science is there. Anyways, I'll keep playing around with this until I get bored, then post the result's here.
