"Charming and helpful towards others, I like you already. I'll take you up on that offer then, Ayla" Sam smiled. Perfect.

With this the white-haired youngster continued to inconspicuously go at his cheeseburger. Damn, he thought, human junk food was the best.

[Diner]

"Done and done, sweetie," The chiropteran young lady scribbled the customer's order down briskly, dotting her i's last with two little taps of her pencil. "And nuh-uh, I just met the man myself, but if you think you know him but aren't too sure, I can go over and ask him if he knows you. That sound alright?" She asked. It occurred to her that she hadn't seen this customer around here either. Perhaps he was new in town too.

IC: "no, thank you, I think I'll go ask him myself...if you wouldn't mind bringing my order to his table? That would be much appreciated." the figure then promptly got up and moved to the table with the "boy" eating the cheeseburger. Just as the figure sat down, it made a very loud noise, pitched just high enough to be out of normal audible range of humans, but not so much as to be out of those with slightly enhanced hearing skills, like most animals and cryptids. if he responds to this, I'll have him...if he doesn't, then he's none of my concern...but if I'm right - may the Lor forbid - then I had better be ready... thought the figure.

Sam briefly stopped eating his burger as the stranger sat down and a high pitched sound that only he could hear rattled his nerves. Fortunately for him, his eyes were all but hidden behind the sunglasses, so their brief paralysis wouldn't be noticed. The newcomer sitting in front him had done that, it was obvious, but it was even more obvious that they hadn't done that by mere coincidence. "Guy's onto me? ...This afternoon just became a lot more interesting."

Immediately disguising his surprise by setting the burger down out of 'respect', Sam put his elbows on the table and crossed his arms, leaning forwards while raising his eyebrows: "May I help you, sir?" he asked.

IC: he's stopped eating...guy like that wouldn't stop eating that fast even if he knew who I was...the next move I make might mean life or death for me...but I must get answers... wonder how much of this that "bat" will hear...guess it's safe enough to do this here thought the figure. At this point, the figure pulled back her hood, revealing the facial features of what would appear to be a feline and a human meshed together and paws with distinct retractable claws.
"Hello, I'm new here in town, and I thought you looked like somebody I used to know a long time ago, but perhaps I'm mistaken... You wouldn't happen to be Sam Spikes would you?"

OOC: last name totally made up/random, I'm runing out of ideas here fast

RE: Escape of the Cryptids - DragonMasterX - 02-21-2011

OOC:

Quote:She then began speaking, alternate her pitch between normal and the one she used before:
"Sam, is that you? Oh it's been so long!"
*hello phallicus, or am I mistaken*
Under the table, the feline began flexing her claws - in, out, in, out - making sure they were free should things get out of hand.
"it's me, Candy! Oh, how I missed you!"
*where is he?*

...you lost me. lol.

RE: Escape of the Cryptids - johalt - 02-21-2011

OoC: oh fuck. Um ...hmm... Sry bout that... I think I got a bit carried a way there... You want I should skip it?
Yeah, tell ya what, ima just gonna delete it and try something else, if ya like it, I'll keep it; if ya dint, I'll try to explain the other one

RE: Escape of the Cryptids - DragonMasterX - 02-21-2011

OOC: Uhm, Phallicus is the Cryptid's name... Sam is the alias he takes while in his human disguise. <.<

By the way, you can't delete your posts, so try editing them when something like this happens. That way, other players won't be as confused once they read the stream of messages we're posting.

RE: Escape of the Cryptids - johalt - 02-21-2011

Ooc: I think perhaps this particular scene has gone on to long (I'm starting to fuck everything up... Again!) but I has no clue how to help "walk away from it" so to speak...

RE: Escape of the Cryptids - DragonMasterX - 02-22-2011

OOC: lol. You just are too confusing and I can't understand what you're trying to say or do. Basically, all I see is that female trying to uncover Sam as the cryptid he is, but she's unsure now of his true nature, which is cool and a good-intended idea since Candy can't just 'guess' Sam's a monster. Initially, you started out well.

But then you began talking in a strange way, using asterisks and you confused me, as all the dialogue became one big incoherent script.

Just fix that one post to something legible and understandable and I'll be able to make Sam react to it. :3
