Solia continued to make out with Faiz for a few more minutes until she finally broke the kiss. "Oh, Faiz, this has been the best day of my life so far," she said dreamily. "But if you do want to spend the rest of your life with me, then I'm sure there will be even better days." She smiled at him.

Ardeal took the gold. "Thank you, my love," he said. "How about number 17? That's how old I am and it happens to be the number Roulette Conway got three times in a row, resulting in a huge pay back. It only happened a few weeks ago." Ardeal handed the runner the money.

"Alright then," the runner replied. "Let's drop the ball!" He spun the roulette wheel and tossed a small white ball on it. The ball hopped, skipped, and jumped, until the wheel finally started slowing down. When Ardeal looked, he was awestruck. "Lucky number 17!" the runner exclaimed, a little amazement in his voice as well.

Quarry formed his giant sword and charged Skye as she rushed him. Their weapons clashed and they sneered in each other's faces until they both backed off. Skye tossed her ring, but Quarry knocked it away with his sword and slashed at her she dodged it easily and quickly counter-attacked. The ring sliced Quarry's left leg, and he gasped, blood dripping down the injured leg.

"Yes, I do, Solia..." He stated lovingly, giving Solia a quick kiss on her lips. "...And I promise, deep inside my heart, protecting you...and taking care of you...till the death do us apart..."

Once the ball touched the number 17, Mika give a clap. "Ah, sweet! Hit directly for the first bet! And now, it's my turn." The dragoness took another small amount of gold coin and bet, "Number 20, please!" She said.

Solia blushed. "That sounds like a marriage line," she smiled cutely. A cool breeze blew through the air, gently tossling her orange hair.

"Alright, then," the runner said, taking Mika's coins. "Roll number 1 for the lovely dragoness! We're lookin' for number 20!" He spun the wheel and dropped the ball. The ball hopped until the wheel slowed down. The runner was really astonished when the ball landed on 20. "Lucky number 20," he called out uneasily. "Well, that's one win, but don't forget: you both still have two more turns. Alright, young man, you're pick."

Ardeal thought hard. "How about number 15, for my younger sister?"

"Number 15 it is," the runner replied. He spun the wheel and dropped the ball. When the wheel stopped, the ball was on number 4. "Oh, so close," the runner said. "No win that time."

Ardeal snapped his fingers in defeat. "Alright, Mika, go for another win," he cheered her on.

Quarry ignored his bleeding leg and switched to Giant Fan mode. With a mighty swing, he sent a small whirlwind rushing at Skye which sent her flying back a little. He veiled himself with the fan and disappeared along with his giant weapon. Skye rose up off the ground.

"Where'd he go?" she said in an anxious voice.

"Behind you..." Quarry whispered in her ear from behind. He jabbed her in the back with the blunt end of his fan. She stumbled forward and fell on the ground again.

"You'll pay for that," she snarled as she stood up.

"Bring it, sweetheart," he taunted.

Vance merely watched, not noticing another presence nearby...

The gentle breeze also brushing his long black hair and his thick fur. "...I know..but it also can be used...for early confession..." Then, Faiz lays his body on the ground with his head on Solia's lap, staring lovingly to her. "....What would happen...if the Queen manages...to capture me...and my sister...?"

"Don't worry. I'm surely win this time." The dragoness smile slightly as Adreal lose the first from three tries, and at the same time, starting a psycho 'war' between herself and the roulette runner. She pick another amount of coins and put it on number 35. "Roll it up, please."

(Giant Oak Tree)

"That's an easy one," Solia smiled and stroked Faiz's long, black hair. "I'd simply cast a Meteor spell on her and send her hurtling into a oblivion, and then I'd bust you and Mika out, just like you did for Ardeal."

The runner grinned and spun the wheel. He leaped back suddenly. "Gamble!" he shouted as he tossed the ball at the wheel. It skipped faster than normal, but as the wheel stopped, the ball landed on 35. "Lucky number 35!" he nearly growled. "Two wins, my dear, and one more try, but now, I believe the gentleman gets his last try."

Ardeal thought for a while. "Number 2. That was the number of the lockdown cell I was in."

The runner nodded and spun the wheel, tossing the ball on it when it gained enough momentum. As the wheel slowed, Ardeal grinned. The ball had landed on 2. "Lucky number 2!" the runner called out again. "Well, you certainly are fairly lucky today," the runner said to Ardeal, handing him a new sack of coins, containing a little more than double that he bet. "Now, dragoness, your final number?"

Quarry's and Skye's weapons clashed against each other in a strange dance of anger and resentment. Skye retreated for a small distance, sweating profusely. "Damn your good," she panted.

"I can't say any different about you," Quarry commented.

"Well, this is getting us nowhere," she said. "Dancing Illusionist's Net," she whispered. She disappeared along with her weapon.

"What's going on?" Quarry asked out loud, looking to Vance.

Vance merely shrugged his shoulders. "There's a reason people call her the 'Mistress of Illusion'," he responded.

"...At least I can see your destructive spell..." Faiz chuckles softly. Based on his current personality, he's now no more shy and love to talk more before he met Solia. "...Sometimes, you remember me to my mother...which sharing a same peronality...just like someone in orphan house told to my guardian...even though I unable to see my mother's face..."

"Congrats, Adreal!" Mika cheered happily as Adreal wins two from three tries. By putting a gold coins which a little bit more from the past two bets, she's hoping to hit a jackpot for today. "Number 21, sir! Roll it in." She said while wagging her tail happily.

"Don't think you'll be the one doing all the protecting, alright?" she said. "We'll protect each other because we love each other. That probably makes me seem even more like your mother, but I'm pretty sure she wouldn't kiss you like I do." She smiled and gazed down at Faiz's head in her lap. "Tell me more about this guardian you and Mika are always mentioning."

(Conscendo: Casino)

The runner sneered. "Number 21 you say?" The runner spun the wheel as hard as he could, tossed the ball in the air, spun himself around in a circle, caught the ball, and tossed it onto the wheel. When the wheel stopped, Ardeal almost jumped out of his socks, for he thought that Mika had won again because the ball was on number 21, but at a second glance, he realized it was on number 22. "Oh, rotten luck," the roulette man stated, shaking his head. "Surely, it is a damn shame." The roulette man gave her a pouch with double the amount she had bet.

"Prepare yourself," Skye's voice rang out. Quarry did just that, getting ready to swing his fan if need be. Unfortunately, Skye had the upper hand. Her ring appeared out of nowhere and flew at Quarry, but was directed with a swing of his fan. However, the ring was just an illusion. Many others circled around Quarry, closer and closer until he found himself tied up. The illusions had strings attached, literally. Skye reappeared in front of him and threw a net on him.

"Well, great job," a man's voice called out from on top of Ardeal and Solia's house. "But I don't think it's nice to tie people up."

He let out a soft murr, nodding. "Our guardian is a female vixen, around 23 fox years of age. She's quite beautiful and living like a middle-class citizen. She tend to smile and talk alot, like my sister, but in the other side, I didn't smile and quite most of the time." Faiz paused a while before continued.

"So far, she adopt 5 children from orphan house and three, including me and Mika living independently while the other two prefer to stay with the female vixen so she can continue to adopt more child."

Mika take a small sigh but smile at the same time as taking the sack of gold coins. "That's okay. This one is quite enough for me. Sometimes, bad luck can't be avoided." Mika stated.

"She sounds really nice," Solia commented. "I'm glad there's someone out there with a big heart." Solia's face became plagued with worry. "Do you know who it was that burned down your village?"

(Conscendo: Casino)

"Hey, most people don't win at all," the roulette man tried to reassure. "You two are luckier than most. Anyways, I'm going on break, so have a nice day." The man hurriedly rushed to a room at the back of the casino and closed the door.

Ardeal shrugged his shoulders. "He must've been aching for that break." He turned to Mika. "So, shall we try to increase our winnings, or should we get something good to eat?" He looked out a window. The sun was getting closer and closer to the horizon.

(Conscendo: Streets)

The man, garbed in dark robes similar to Vance's with the hood up, jumped off the house and landed next to the tied-up Quarry. Only his hands were visible and he was holding a curved short sword that was dark purple at the hilt and the closer the it got to the tip of the blade, the more it started fading into a more reddish color.

With a flurry of quick slashes, Quarry was free.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" Skye demanded, her eyes glaring.

The man removed his hood to reveal long flowing silver hair. His green eyes were a jungle green and his face displayed years of battle experience. "My name...is of no importance," he said in a gruff voice. "All you need to know is that your life is at an end."

Once he hard that, he lowering his ears a little before shooks his head. "I'm not sure, Solia...My guardian says a group of soldier come and ambush my village looking for something before they burns it up and kill the villagers...She didn't know the real culprit behind the tragedy...Some villagers says it's a Queen's fault, but others says the opposite..."

Then, he remembers about his last night's dream. "...Do you remember a mysterious voice that shivers me during the ambush of one guy with two soldiers...? It's always appear in my dream..a dream where I saw with my own eyes, my village is being burned up...A soldiers kill the innocent villagers before a laughing female voice surrounds the area..." He stated in low tone.

"Let's see..." Mika take another look of the casino. "How about card game? We can get even more than the roulette." She said, gently grasping Adreal's paw. "Come." Then, she walks to the card game's table.
