Quarry merged his fans together into his giant fan again and leapt into the sky, soaring slowly over the small town.
Ardeal and Solia both did as they were told and closed their eyes tightly.
"Vindicatio meus oculus," Lorana whispered as she turned to face her two guards and the four travelers. Two dark clouds covered her eyes, but she didn't worry about casting on her guards.

But, once Faiz spotted the dark clouds covering the guards and Lorana's eyes, he stopped casting. "They spotted us..."
Anyway, the wolf got another and normal method they used to pass the guards without using any magic spells; sudden ambush.
"We don't have any other choice...." Faiz said while nodding to Mika, seeming understand of what they should do next. The dou began appear behind the tree and charge towards the guards like a hungry dragon and wolf catching a food. With a blink of eye, they jumped passed through the guards and began moving, hoping they manage to pass Immolatio.

Lorana had given the commands for the archers to start firing again. Quarry swerved and dodged them the best he could, but too many arrows had went through his fan that he crashed at the northern exit of the small town. "Ouch...," he said calmly as he stood up and brushed himself off.
Lorana saw Faiz and Mika rush past her. Rave and Rage were so startled and disoriented that they didn't have time to go after them. Lorana took out her whip, and shouted, "Where the hell do you think your going?" She launched the seemingly short whip at Mika and caught her leg, the whip elongating and wrapping around her ankle.
Solia and Ardeal held on tight, hoping to make it out of the town without conflict. It wasn't Lorana's fault after all; the assassin was the one who made everything all confused.

Once the whip caught one of her legs, Mika twist her body and grab Adreal before throwing to Faiz with all her strength. "Grab Adreal, brother! I'll deal with her!" She shouted and fell on the ground.
Faiz stopped and turned around, then grab Adreal gently before runs out of Immolatio as far as he could. "Do your best...If you're unable to do so, I'll come over to help you..." He said to Mika telepathically.

Quarry saw Mika go down and immediately prepared for battle. "Don't worry, Faiz, I've got her back!" he called out to Faiz as he rushed by with Solia and Ardeal. He transformed his giant fan into his normal two fans and hurled one at Lorana's whip. Before the fan could slice the whip, Lorana retracted it, preventing damage to her weapon, but as a result, released Mika.
"So two thieves want to take me on?" she said cockily. "I guess Skye was actually right." She cracked the air with her whip as she entered a fighting stance.
"Faiz, don't worry about getting us out of here," Solia pleaded. "Me and Ardeal can help too."
"Yeah, Faiz, that chick may have been hot, but she looked pretty strong," Ardeal agreed worriedly as he and his sister were getting carried out of town.
Quarry caught his fan and ran up beside Mika. "Think we can win, fair dragoness?" he asked.

Faiz shooks his head, disagreed Solia and Ardeal's suggestion. "No...we are much worried about your safety...We would not forgive ourselves if one of you being hurt badly...." He said in soft yet serious tone as he slowly reduce the speed and completely stopped before hid behind the large tree.
Mika slowly get up and brush herself from dirt, taking a short glande to Quarry before looking to Lorana. "We can't jump to the conclusion just yet. We need to test her abilities first." Mika said cheerfully as lean her shoulder against Quarry's before setting in fight stance. "You can take your first move, your average-beautiful leader."

Solia nodded to Faiz, glad that he was worried about her, but sad because she felt so helpless when she knew she could do a lot.
Ardeal wasn't so accepting, but followed Solia's lead, knowing that she loved Faiz. "Alright, but if those two get in trouble, know that we're on the scene no matter what." He nodded at Solia and she nodded back in agreement.

"Alright then, beautiful," Quarry said as he tossed his fan directly at Lorana while sneak tossing his other one so that it would curve around and hit Lorana in the back.
Unfortunately, Lorana's whip was too quick. With one snap, she flicked the fan back at Quarry, and he caught it. She then leaped into the air and batted away the other one. "Crackle!" she shouted as she pointed her hand at the spot below Quarry and Mika. The spot glowed blue and many icicles shot up from the ground.

Faiz nodded and agreed their suggestion. He admit he also worried about his sister and Quarry, but anyway, he will wait till Mika contact him for help.

Just before the icicles shot up beneath her, Mika quickly jumped to the air and chanted a spell to increase the icicle length, avoid hitting Quarry. "It seems she able to control ice and water element spells. If you learn fire element spells, it would give an advantage for us." She said telepathically to Quarry, and once Mika reach the same level as Lorana, she throws the kick on her back, hoping it will hit and throws Lorana to the long icicle on the ground.

Quarry frowned at the mention of fire spells, for he knew none. He barely knew any magic at all.
Lorana took the kick and looked down at the icicle she was about to fall on. "Subside!" she commanded. The icicle instantly melted into a puddle of water. She landed hard on the ground, but got right back up. "Very clever, dragoness," Lorana complemented. "So you are a water magician as well?"

Mika head Quarry frowned, knewing he didn't learn any magic at all. She then landed on the ground besides Quarry, before slowly getting up. "Yup, and it's quite interesting to battle with another water magician. But we can defeat you pretty much easily if my brother was here." The dragoness said as walk closer to Lorana, hoping she would start attacking Mika.
