Note: Suspense Builds I suppose, the end is coming to this arc faster than I expected. Oh well, sit back and enjoy.

"Alright the rules for tonight are as follows, no one up past twelve, No wild orgies (a course of awww's filled the room, egging Taichi on). "And finally the only person that sleeps next to my sister will be me, next to Sora, of course"

Sora punched his arm, hard

"I thought we decided not to interfere" Sora said through gritted teeth

Taichi thought quickly, plus not wanting to piss his pregnant future wife off, he spoke quickly

"I'm only joking Hikari (by this time her eyes were already welled up with tears) Takeru be good"

Sora, Mimi, and Janet began to look through all of Mimi's baby clothes, awing and laughing to themselves

Koushiro tried to work on a detailed map of Vamdemon's old castle, Jun was hanging over the back of his chair, rubbing his chest softly

Daisuke sulked in a corner, he wanted to go now and rescue Miyako, not waste time doing nothing. Taichi must have a good reason, but for the life of him he could not figure it out, even with the attack on Yamato. It only strengthened his anger for Ken.

Takeru was on the phone, ordering out for food. Pizza, fast food, sushi, ice cream...Damn pregnant women could eat.

Michael and Hikari sat on the floor, talking quietly.

"Michael, I have to tell you..." she started

Michael held up his hands, signaling for her to stop

"I understand Hikari, it's my fault. Takeru is a lucky guy"

"I just don't want to hurt you," she moaned softly, grasping his arm

"Trust me, as long as you are happy," he said reassuringly
Hikari smiled at him sweetly

"Thank you Michael"

"Well it is going to cost us about fifty bucks to eat tonight" Takeru said as he threw the phone on the couch and sighed, "What are you two talking about?"

"Nothing" Michael said quickly while he smiled at Hikari

Takeru smiled, then it faded quickly

"Mike, I gotta tell you this since we are all being friends again, that day..."

Michael looked up

"Hey man don't worry about it"

"It wasn't me, I know that you didn't mean any harm, but..."

"Takeru, come on man, don't sweat it. Believe me, Janet says I have a hard head" Michael tapped his head with his knuckles, hoping to get a chuckle from the two of them

"Friends?" Takeru asked, a worried expression was all over his face

"Of course" Michael said grinning at Takeru

"Well now that is over with, who's up to go and rent a couple of movies?"

Yamato perked his head up

"I swear, T.K., if you rent that damn Dragonball movie again, I'll kill you"

Takeru sighed

"One mistake and he still hounds me about it"

Michael looked confused, he like anime, he was more found of anime's that had mech's in it, especially one that just getting released back in America called Blue Gender

"Hey T.K., if you go get the cowboy Bebop movie. I didn't get a chance to see it because SOMEBODY pulled me to the Oh My Goddess movie" Taichi said with laughter in his voice

Sora looked up, holding a small pair of blue pants

"As I recall Mr. Yagami, it was you that wanted to see it"

Taichi blushed and looked away

"What about Blue Gender? I just got the second disc of that when I moved" Michael spoke up

They all looked up at Michael stunned

Janet leaned against Yamato's chest; his wounds had been dressed and cleaned thoroughly

"Michael thinks he is an otaku, you should have seen his room"

Michael was smiling when Iori spoke up

"They call you that in America?"

"Yeah all the time" Michael said his smile beaming

The Japanese kids looked shocked

Koushiro was still typing on his laptop.

"In America it doesn't meant the same thing as it does here, there I think the correct phrase is "fanboy"" he said without even looking up

An "OHH" crossed the room

"Well then Michael, how bout we go rent some movies?" Takeru asked

"Sure sounds fun"

"I'll go," chirped Hikari

"Me too I suppose," said Iori

The four of them collected their coats and left, passing the still sulking Daisuke in the kitchen; he gave them a quick look as they walked by

The three digimon slept on the couch, Patamon sleeping on the back, Tailmon was sprawled on her back, and Terriermon snored quietly

The baby clothes were folded and put back in their bags

Jun walked from the back room, carrying pillows and blankets she dumped the load down on a nearby chair

Sora was once again attempting to put Taichi's hair down

"What do you put in this? Super glue?" she said with a giggle

Taichi looked down at his watch

"Yup its nine o' clock"

Sora put her hands on her hips

"And what is that is supposed to mean?"

Taichi shrugged

"Nothing, about this time every night you start playing with my hair"

Sora pouted

"Is that a bad thing?" she said rubbing his neck softly

Taichi moaned

"Uhmm...No"

Sora smiled and kissed his cheek

"Thought so"

Daisuke had enough, he stomped out on the balcony, the night was a chilly one as they could tell as cool air wafted into the room. His hand shot to the door, slamming it shut in one swift movement

"What's his problem??" Taichi asked. Letting Sora run her hand through his hair

"Yeah what crawled up his ass?" Yamato said with a smirk

Mimi watched him carefully

"I guess its that everyone here has a girlfriend and his is being held hostage"

Everyone just looked down, all feeling sorry for Daisuke

"I think I am going to go talk to him" Mimi said, grasping Jyou's shoulder and pulling herself up. She walked to the door and opened it up

"Daisuke we will get her back, you know that right?" Mimi cooed

"I want her now Mimi. Miyako does not deserve to be in that hell hole any longer than she absolutely has to be" Daisuke said, hanging his head down

"Nobody wants to keep her there. Its really bothering you that everyone is all happy and your not" Mimi asked, her eyes shimmered slightly

"It just feels weird. You all are really happy, I am not too sure about Koushiro, but" he smiled slightly

Mimi chuckled slightly

"I think he is happy, she loves you"

"I know that, it's strange. We just finally got together when all this goes down. Whatever happened to the good ol' days where all we did was save the world from evil digimon, not have one of own betray us?" Daisuke said looking up at Mimi

"That was a long time ago Dai, we are all about grown. Some of us are going to be thinking of families soon, you are going to think of school..."

Daisuke threw up his fist

"Or playing pro-soccer"

Mimi smiled and nodded

"Or even that, you just have to realize that people do change, they do grow up, they get lives...and eventually they die. It is how you choose to live is what makes you the person that you are today"

"Yes, I suppose you are right"

"I know I am right Daisuke. Now quit being a bum and come back inside before you get a cold"

Daisuke shook his head

"Already the mother in you is coming out"

Mimi nodded her head
"You are right now get inside"

At the video store...

Takeru, Hikari, Michael, and Iori walked into the slightly warm store. Michael was in total awe. He had never seen a video store like this in the States. It was like wall-to-wall Anime. Takeru walked over to a far corner

"How much trouble do you think we would get into if we rented La Blue Girl?" Takeru quipped picking up a cover box and looked at the back

"T.K. put that down," Hikari said quickly, giving him a slightly dirty eye

Iori walked to a corner

"Oh look Pokemon," he said as he looked at a box

"NO" the three destines said in unison. Iori put the box back quickly

The clerk at the counter looked up

"You kids need to hurry, we close in like ten minutes"

Takeru nodded, he wanted to scoff at the choice word of kids. If that guy only knew half of what they had been through, it would turn his hair white.

"Ok guys we need to grab something" Takeru said as he grabbed a copy of the Cowboy Bebop movie. Hikari grabbed a copy of Spirited Away; Michael was eying the Blue Genders, when something else caught his eye.

"Hey you guys have you seen this" Michael held up a copy of the End of Evangelion.

Takeru looked up

"Yeah me and Hikari saw it a long time ago"

Hikari looked up, holding a copy of Tenchi Forever and nodded

"Aww man, this hasn't hit the states yet, I have been dying to see it"

"Well get it" Takeru said "I haven't seen it in a while"

The four of them walked to the counter. The clerk rang them out and shooed them out the door as quickly as he could, so he could go home to his copy of La Blue Woman

OK, now after all of the problems I have had with my computer I finally got a new chapter up. Keep in touch; god only knows when the new chapter will be up.
