The room was cold and black, the walls and floor were drenched in foul smelling urine and dew

How long have I been here? Miyako thought, true time passed quickly in the digiworld, but the time she has spent in this dark cell seemed like years.

The cell door creaked open softly, Wormmon scuttled in, a plate of food was resting in its tiny hands, Miyako turned away from the small digimon with a look of disgust.

"I have brought you some food Miyako. Please, I beg of you. to eat it all"

Miyako didn't budge, the food that wormmon had left before were still on their respected dishes laid in the same places where they were dropped off. A thin layer of dust was now beginning to form along the edges of the trays.

"Please Miyako, you must eat, at least eat the rice" wormmon whined

True. Miyako was hungry, but she wouldn't give Ken and his demons the satisfaction of breaking her will

"Let her starve wormmon, she'll come around when she is ready to be my bride" A voice behind wormmon said

Ken stepped into the light from the door, his black cloak floating softly on an imaginary wind

"Go to hell Ken" Miyako rasped, her throat felt like a desert from lack of water

Ken smiled slightly

"Soon enough, I will have you begging me to love you, begging me to spare your friends miserable lives, begging me to lay you down and make you my queen"

Ken turned and left the cell with brisk steps. Wormmon turned to leave, but turned as he reached the door and gave Miyako one last look, its eyes pleading with her, begging her almost...

To end this madness
"Dai..." Miyako whispered, "Where are you?"

Elsewhere...

Iori sat in Daisuke's living room. He was watching the other destines rush around the room, attempting to make plans. Sora had a look on her face that she was not pleased with Taichi at all, her face had turned a bright shade of red, and her stomach was beginning to swollen slightly

"No" she screamed, "I am coming with you Taichi Yagami"

"Sora" Taichi sighed "I am not going through this again with you, you are pregnant with our child. There is no way in hell I am going to allow you or Mimi to walk in the belly of the Beast. Don't you understand, Ken wants our child, and he will have to go through me before I'll ever allow him to harm our child"

"Taichi" Sora sniffled "I am not going to lose you, please..."

"Sora, you are in no condition to go, I'm sorry. Both you and Mimi are sidelined for now, anyway its not like you are going to be alone, Janet will be with you the entire time we are gone. Besides there is no way in hell I am going to leave you, not now, nor ever" Taichi said very sternly as he sat down in the seat next to her

"I love you, you know that right?" Sora said weakly as she rested her head on his shoulder, tears had formed in the corners of her eyes and slowly started to stream down her face

"I know" Taichi mustered as he held her tightly, he hated to see her like this. Tears had begun to form in his eyes as well.

Suddenly the room filled with a white light, it surrounded Sora and Taichi. Iori looked on in shock as the light surrounded the couple, their tags holding their crests lifted off their necks and swirled around their heads. He watched Sora lift a hand to her eyes, shielding them from the glare of the dazzlingly white light

"Its beautiful" she whispered

The crests spun faster of their heads and began to intertwine together forming a new symbol, a heart inside a spiral, it was now the newly formed crest of bravery, a sword came out of the light and crashed onto the floor, embedded in its hilt was a small heart.

"Wow, and I missed out on all of this?" Iori giggled

Taichi and Sora sat in shock, their crests had joined and created a new crest for Taichi, and it even gave him a new weapon, a sword.

Koushiro walked in the door, he stared at the sword on the floor as Jun walked in behind him

"Koushiro, baby, what are you looking at?"

Koushiro began to scratch his head softly; he bent and lifted the sword

"It would appear...that their crests joined together creating a new crest and weapon," he said softly

Jun looked dumbstruck

"Uh-hmm, umm weird"

In the other room, Daisuke, Takeru, Hikari, Michael, and their digimon partners sat on the floor, staring at computer printed out maps of the area around Vamdemon's old castle, now in control of by Ken and his demon army. Takeru's wings and sword had disappeared, as well as Daisuke's light sword. That could be called when they were needed now, or by accessing a new option on their D-3's. Hikari sat in the middle of Takeru and Michael, not sitting too close to either, she cut her eyes to them every once and a while to make sure that...

"We are going to need some heavy duty reinforcements," Daisuke muttered loudly, cutting Hikari's thoughts short

"Well you should know that we will help you" V-mon said

"Yeah" coursed Tailmon, Patamon, and Terriermon

"This is going to be dangerous Dai" Takeru sighed, "We are talking about planning a full scale attack on Vamdemon's old castle"

"Plus we might not be able to help our digimon evolve" Hikari added

Michael looked away from Hikari and blushed slightly. Hikari was smart and beautiful, but he couldn't see himself breaking up her and Takeru's relationship, even after Takeru about beat him into a coma

"Still it is worth the shot" Michael chimed in

"We can't ask you to help us Mike" Taker shook his head

"Yeah but with Mimi and Sora both out of commission, you are going to need my help" Michael said, rage starting to form deep inside of him

"He does have a point T.K." Daisuke said, not looking up from the map he held in his hands

"Ok fine, you can come" Takeru breathed

"I was planning on it anyhow," Michael answered with a smile

Takeru smiled back, Hikari inched closer to him, he held out his arm, allowing her to rest her head on his chest

Michael smiled slightly at this; at least he knew she was happy

And that was all that mattered to him anymore

Outside...

Yamato and Janet were looking at the stars; Janet's hand was firmly clasped in Yamato's

"I don't like this Yamato, not one bit" she said softly

"Neither do I, but Ken has to be stopped" Yamato said

"How do I know that you are going to come back?" she whispered

"Don't worry I'll have Tai and Gabumon watching my back" he said softly pulling her closer to him

"Don't go, they don't need you. Stay...stay with me please" Janet whispered, tears welling up in her eyes

"Janet, I have to go with them, they will need me. Don't worry about us, we have been in deeper shit than this before, if needed we can have Omnimon formed, he has helped me and Taichi out before" he said rubbing her shoulders softly

"I am still afraid that you are not coming back," she said, tears flowing freely down her face

"Trust me, I am coming back" he said, lightly kissing the top of her head

"I'm pregnant," she whispered softly

Yamato looked dumbstruck, he felt sick to his stomach, his head swimming around

"I love you Yamato," she whispered again

Yamato closed his eyes tightly

"I love you too"

"Well isn't this a nice show of affection" a sarcastic voice said behind them

Yamato turned to see Ken, standing on the railing, the wind whipping around his cape.

"I'm here for the women," Ken growled

Yamato pushed Janet behind him, shielding her from Ken's view

"Yeah well Ken, there are plenty of places like that in the red light district" Yamato called back

"Ooo, what a sense of humor we have" Ken cackled

"Try me Ken, I'll show you a real sense of humor" Yamato said through gritted teeth

Ken hopped from the railing

"I'd rather not get my hands dirty, blood is so hard to come clean" Ken snapped his fingers. Suddenly demons surrounded Yamato and Janet. "But them on the other hand" he said patting a demon on the head 'they rather enjoy blood" Ken laughed evilly as he disappeared

The demons watched the couple, their eyes glowing red in the dark night. Suddenly a demon jumped on Yamato's back, Yamato grabbed it by its slimy neck and threw it off of him into the advancing pack

"Judo throw" he smirked, his attention then turned to Janet "Get somewhere safe"

"Me? What about you?" she asked, her eyes wide with fear

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine" he said as another demon attacked, this time catching Yamato off guard, slashing the boy's chest, ripping a tear down his ribs

Janet started towards him, but Yamato held up his hand

"GO" he roared

Janet turned and ran through the sliding glass doors

Yamato turned his attention back to the job at hand; not noticing the crest that he still wore around his neck had began to glow slightly

"Now, who wants to back to your master with his tail between its legs?" Yamato spat as he gripped his rib cage, a trickle of blood ran down his side

The glow began to brighten even more, Yamato barely aware what was happening around him, he prepared for the onslaught of attacks by the demons

Their attack was fluid, they all moved as one

Swarming over Yamato, claws slashing, teeth gnashing, pulling at his clothes, tearing long scratches in his flesh

Yamato gritted his teeth sharply, he would NOT give Ken the satisfaction of him crying out in pain

At that moment the crest had enough. If anyone was watching this battle, it would appear that Yamato was covered in darkness, but then it appeared that the sun was poking through a mess of storm clouds.

Then there was a fierce explosion of light, blasting the demons away from Yamato.

Yamato stood, breathing harshly, his palms outstretched and connected and open, as if he had thrown a blast from his hands.

Yamato looked out, his eyes wide with shock

"Cool" he said to no one

The demons swarmed around, flipping back on to their feet, speaking gibberish to each other

It wouldn't take a linguist to figure out what they were saying

*What the fuck was that??*

Their red eyes gleamed brightly as they stretched their hands out, extending their claws

"Oh is it time for Round 2?" Yamato said with a smirk

They attacked again, Yamato struck out with a vicious right hand, sending a demon flying across the balcony and to the ground four stories below. It hit the ground with a sickening crunch.

"Come on let's go" Yamato said as he gestured with his hands

They rushed again, the demons numbers thinned out, quickly. Yamato was even surprised as easily he was dispatching the creatures after the trouble he was given by them before.

Suddenly two demons disappeared and reappeared behind Yamato, grasping his arms and pinning them back behind his back. Yamato grimaced as he felt their hot stinking breath run down the his neck

Two others rushed him, closing the gap on him quickly. Yamato became very patient, he waited until they got close to him before he leveraged himself up onto the other demons as if they were a springboard, he thrust out both of his legs, kicking the two advancing demons in their toothy mouths, sending them reeling across the balcony. Yamato flipped over the demon that was still attempting to hold him tightly. He grasped it around its middle, grunting loudly he threw it up over his head and off the side, sending it falling to its death.

Two more to go...

DAMN where was the others, he thought as the remaining demons started to rush him again

These things don't learn fast, he thought as he grasped one around the throat, slamming it head first into the other demon. The demons connected and snarled at one another, trying to decide amongst their selves if they wanted to try to attack Yamato again.

"You know, I'm getting tired of playing with you guys," Yamato said through gritted teeth

Energy began to crackle around Yamato; his hair began to float up slowly, as if it was on an invisible wind

"HA!!" he cried as he unleashed a bolt of pure energy from his hands, incinerating the demons into ashes

Sweat poured off of Yamato's brow in heavy rivulets, breathing heavily he stood in shock at his strange new powers

"What the hell is going on?" he said breathlessly, he knew Takeru and Daisuke had gained new powers, but this was ridicules, he turned to walk through the sliding glass drawers, to his shock Takeru was standing behind it, a look of shock was over his boyish face, in his hands was is saber. Daisuke stood next to him, the light sword hilt in his hands. Taichi was propping himself up against the doorframe, the long sword clenched in his hands.

Yamato slid the door on its tracks; blood was starting to trickle down his face from a hairline scratch

"Thanks for the help guys" he said sarcastically as he pushed between them

Taichi shook his head, shock was still clear on his face

"It didn't look like you needed any" Taichi said with a quiet choking laugh

"Yeah" Takeru and Daisuke answered in unison

"Yamato!" Janet squealed, throwing her arms around his neck, squeezing him tightly

Koushiro and Iori stood side by side; Koushiro rubbed his hand across his chin

"I just don't understand it. Neither Hikari, Iori, Mimi, Jyou, nor myself have yet to distinguish powers like you four. It is remarkable at best but confusing in the same thought"

Iori nodded glumly, being the youngest out of all of the destines had made him sit out during the latest part of their adventure

Jun walked over and began to massage Koushiro's shoulders slowly

"It just doesn't make any kind of sense," he said as he pulled away from Jun and went to his laptop and began to type on it

"Don't worry honey, you will get your powers" Jun said sweetly

Koushiro grunted and didn't look up

"By the way where are Mimi and Jyou?" Yamato asked as he attempted to pry himself from Janet's steel grip, she was still sobbing in his chest softly

"You know Mimi, she started buying clothes for the baby already" Sora said quietly, holding Taichi's hand tightly

"Well I suppose it is smart seeing that you two are about six and a half months more to go, I would be buying clothes as well, except I would wait to see what the sex would be before" Koushiro piped up

"Well regardless, I don't think we all should be alone tonight, why don't we all stay here together for tonight" Taichi said

"Good idea" Jun squealed

"Maybe Jun should leave" Yamato said under his breath only to get an elbow in the ribs from Janet, who gave him a look that could melt the icecaps, he glanced over to Taichi, who was trying to stifle a laugh

"Yeah *snicker* everyone call their respected parents and tell them that we are going to have a sleepover. Tomorrow we attack Ken's castle" Taichi said with a sigh

At the mall...

Mimi looked through the baby clothes section; she had a cart almost full of clothes along with Jyou's arms. She had thought ahead and picked out clothes for a boy or a girl. She held Jyou free hands; she squeezed it as she found a tiny pink dress with little bows over it

"This is soooo kawaii," she cooed

Jyou smiled and nodded, he was doing a quick calculation in his head, from what Mimi had in the cart and in his arms, and their total bill was nearing at least five hundred dollars

"Mimi, dear, I think this is going to be enough, we should be getting over to..."

All of the sudden Mimi's cell phone began to chirp a strange tune

Jyou shook his head as he recognized it as the theme to Gundam Wing; he started to sing it quietly

"Just wild beat communication..."

Mimi looked up to him as she dug the phone out of her purse, her eyes twinkled softly. It was a look that could melt Jyou's heart. The beauty thing about Mimi was that she was hardly showing her pregnancy, she still looked like a normal teenager, her strawberry color in her hair was slowly starting to run out, her hair roots were returning to their original sandy blonde.

Jyou bent down and kissed her cheek softly, Mimi's cheeks flushed a bright pink. Jyou was never one to show his true affections, especially not in public like this, it was a welcome change for him. Mimi thought as she finally found her phone, thinking numbly about how much she had changed him, the long purplish hued hair, she even had him a appointment to the eye doctor next week to fit him for contacts. It was interesting to find that how well he was taking all of the changes with their lives.

Mimi flipped the switch on her cell, as she continued to look at the dress

"Hi Sora, yeah we are still at the mall. Umm ok sure, yeah no one will care if we don't go back to his parents place; yeah they are still a little ticked. Ok order some food, we will be the soon. Bye"

Jyou looked at her curiously

"What was that all about"?

Mimi tossed the phone back in her bag

"Yamato got attacked by Ken and his buddies. Taichi thinks that we will all be safer with them"

"Oh lovely, where are they at?"

Sora nodded her head as she picked the dress up off the rack; she moved them slowly to the register

"Over at Daisuke and Jun's house"

Jyou looked up as he started to take clothes out of the basket

"Wait that means Koushiro is there, and if you haven't heard (which I know you have) Koushiro and Jun are sort of an item now"

Mimi smiled as the clerk finished up ringing in all of her purchases; she pulled her father's credit card out of her wallet

"Yeah I know, but it will be fun Jyou, we all haven't been together like this in a long time"

Jyou sighed as the clerk handed Mimi her receipt, he caught a quick look at the total, and he felt his heart start to do a leap in his ribcage

"I know" (gulps) "Yeah I think it would be interesting, me and Koushiro can start our analysis on the new powers that have started to spring up"

"See what did I tell you dear, it wasn't that much" Mimi said holding up the bill

Jyou started to turn white
