Note: Well I took a little break for a bit and now I'm back. Seems like some of you missed me-lol. Anyway sit back and relax its time to go to another world, all of the regular rules are still in effect. I would also like to note that this will be the last story arc *cue aww noise*, it should be at least 11 more chapters with, counting this one. Hell if I can write thirty chapters I should write a book.

The sky was cold and gray; rain filled the streets of Odiba. Ken was getting soaked as he walked the quiet streets. It was still early in the morning and only a few people were out in this mess called a day. As he passed a man in a long overcoat, Ken accidentally bumped into him; the man grumbled something under his breath, unheard to Ken. Ken's eyes flashed with darkness. He continued his walk up the street to an apartment, Miyako's apartment to be exact. But he wasn't looking for Miyako; it was Takeru who he was looking for. Maybe it was time for Takeru to join in on the fun with him. Being bad sometimes had its advantages, like the ones Miyako was soon to find out...

Takeru picked up his pack, his mind still in awe from the night before. The digi-destines had met up at Koushiro's house for dinner. It was a sickening shows of affection that Jun had for Koushiro, Takeru once or twice had to put his fork down. Hikari glanced over to him and smiled sweetly. That girl, he thought, I could love forever. Hikari sat in between Taichi and Takeru, Sora sat next to Taichi, Jyou-alone because Mimi had to return to New York to clear up some ties before she could fully return to Japan-sat next to Sora, Michael and Janet sat next to Yamato. Anger flared through Takeru as he looked over to see Michael staring at Hikari, and to make things worse Hikari seemed to be flirting with him. What the hell was he doing there anywhere, he wasn't one of the originals. Hikari patted his hand as if she was telling him to calm down, he looked over and smiled into her eyes, anger subsided, he bit into his sandwich and was quiet. Rounding off the table was Miyako and Daisuke, sitting quietly holding hands.

"Alright Koushiro, what's up, why call us here?" Taichi asked as he set his water glass down, Sora had taken away his soda away, it was killing him slowly she said

Koushiro's face slowly paled

"We have a problem my friends"

"I swear to god if he tells us Jun's pregnant, I'll leave" Yamato said

Laughter ran across the table

Koushiro blushed as Jun smiled sweetly, leaning over to kiss his cheek softly.

"No, no it's not that. We have a problem, it has to deal with Ken and the darkness"

"I though that was over" Taichi said, intently listening to Koushiro.

"As did I, but alas, it is not. Gennai monitors our new D-3's to make sure everything is all right. He was watching Ken closely because darkness has been slowly creeping across the digiworld. No, Demon visited Ken the other night and we think that he made an offer that Ken couldn't refuse. A chance to get whatever he wanted, the world, love"

Miyako looked down at the word love

"Could this really be what has been happening to him lately. The sudden mood swing?" Daisuke piped up

"That could very well be Daisuke, that could be the reason you two got into a fight at Yamato's latest show. But the most troubling thing is. It has to do with Demon's proposal. Demon feels that with the children of the digi-destines he can take over both worlds. He has given Ken an endless army of demon servants to make sure this comes to be"

Taichi slammed his hands onto the table

"If he comes near Sora or my child. I'll fucking cut his balls off and feed them to him"

Jyou, who had been quiet up till now spoke up

"Ill do the same with Mimi"

"I understand the way you two feel, but it is a dangerous time. He wants our deaths and your children" Koushiro said

"No one will hurt my Koushiro" Jun said as she crossed her arms over her chest

"I doubt even you can stop Ken now dear" Koushiro said softly

"So what should we do?" Michael asked

"We should butt out and leaves this to us" Takeru said quickly

"I am as much as a part of this than you are Takeru" Michael said defensively

"Oh bullshit" Takeru said as he jumped up "You blow in from America, bring along your digimon and expect us to ask you to join us? You need a reality check"

"T.K please sit down," Hikari asked, her eyes brimming with tears

"Now look you ass you made her cry," Michael said as he jumped up

"This team has gone through more than you will ever know kid" Takeru threw back at Michael

"Well you never know, I might surprise you" Michael said through gritted teeth

"Is that a threat kid?" Takeru asked

"No it's a prom..." Michael started as Janet grabbed his arm and pulled him down

"Sit down and shut up Mike," she said under her breath

"Takeru sit down," Yamato said with fire in his eyes

Takeru sat down quickly. Koushiro cleared his throat loudly

"From the way everything is looking Takeru, we will need all the help we can get. This is something that we will have to do. Our digimon will have no effect on the demons"

"So what the hell are we suppose to do?" Taichi asked, his arm draped around Sora's shoulders, her head resting on his shoulders

"We need to find him and try to talk some sense into him, I guess"

"He wont listen to us now Koushiro" Daisuke piped up "Its useless, I have seen this guy pissed before."

"Well thanks for the little bit of sunshine for us Dai" Taichi quipped

"Cant we just call the police?" Janet asked

"And what, tell them that a teenager has been given the power to control demons that can take over two worlds? They would lock us up really quick like" Takeru spoke up

"So what now?" Sora asked, looking up at the light hanging over the table

"I have something that just might work, but I have to confer with Gennai with it. Till then we need to watch our backs. Jyou you might want to call Mimi and tell her to watch out, and to hurry back."

Jyou was already reaching for his cell phone

"Already thought of it, call me later Koushiro" Jyou picked up his jacket and was out the door like a flash

"Miyako, you might not want to stray to far from your store or school, Daisuke watch out for her. Ken might be a little mad still about your two dating now," Koushiro said as he thought

"I'll protect her," Daisuke said

Miyako smiled up to him and kissed his cheek softly

"You don't have to worry about Sora, Koushiro, I think we are always together that he won't dare to mess with her," Taichi said with a weak smile

"Right, Takeru, you stick with Hikari. Michael you help Yamato with Janet. Who knows what Ken might try to do"?

"Yeah" Takeru said

They sat around for a little longer, before departing to their respecting houses.

Takeru rode the elevator down; the doors slid open, revealing the street. He stepped out, hearing the rain slosh under his shoes

"Hey Takeru" A voice called behind him

"Yeah?" he said as he turned revealing Ken. Ken's dark eyes flashed lightly. Takeru's mind was like an open book

"I hear you might have a problem with the new boy"

"Maybe"

What was Ken up too? Takeru thought, how did he know about Michael?

"I have a proposition for you" Ken said softly, his dark eyes glinted, holding Takeru in their gaze

Takeru shifted his pack to the other arm

"I'm listening"
