Taichi sat in the back row of the concert hall. Ahead of him he could see Janet standing close to the stage. He felt Sora slip her hand into his; he looked over to see her smile. He smiled back, but weakly, it had been a long week. After the events of Sunday night, Taichi was beginning to believe that he would never have a normal life.

It was out that Hikari was having sex...

And it was out that Taichi was not only going to be a husband but also a father

His parents had taken it, rather well...

It was Wednesday evening, and the dinner table was soundless. Sora sat close to Taichi, wondering why her mother kept staring at her.

"Well it was bound to happen" Mrs. Takenouchi said, "We knew that they were in love"

"Well we didn't expect a triple whammy that night" Mrs. Yagami said

Taichi fidgeted, Sora smiled at him and placed her hand on his leg

"I don't like it, not one bit" Mr. Yagami said staring at Takeru

Why was he so mad at Takeru? He should be mad at me Taichi thought

Ms. Takaishi glared back to Takeru

Wow Takeru's mom didn't look too pleased either.

Mrs. Yagami stood and walked to the stove and spooned up another helping of pasta onto Taichi's plate, and glared at him, as if her eyes were saying to eat it and shut up. Taichi spooned some of the pasta up to his mouth and ate it, leaving a smear of tomato sauce on the corner of his mouth. Mrs. Yagami opened her mouth to say something, but was beaten to the punch as Sora leaned over and wiped it clean, Mrs. Yagami closed her mouth and sat quietly.

"Sora, have you made any plans yet?" asked Mrs. Yagami

"About what?" Sora asked

"Well about the baby"

"I'm keeping it"

"But what abut school" Mr. Yagami asked gruffly

"She's going to run the flower store, while I go back to school" Mrs. Takenouchi answered before Sora could for her

Taichi hung his head down

"And what about you Taichi?" Mr. Yagami asked

"I...I haven't thought about it"

"He can work at the flower store with Sora, and when the baby comes he can take over"

Taichi nodded glumly, him a flower boy, he opened his mouth but snapped it shut when he got Mrs. Takenouchi eyes; it was best if he didn't say anything about it.

"And the wedding?" Ms. Takaishi asked

Sora's face brightened

"Well that I have given some thought, I want a church wedding. I want Mimi to be my maid of honor, and Hikari and Miyako can be bridesmaids"

"Oh, Hikari would you like that"

Hikari picked up her head again and smiled at Sora

"I would Sora, thank you"

She lowered her head again and twiddled her thumbs in her lap, Takeru grabbed one of her hands and squeezed it
Mr. Ishida stood and looked at Hikari and Takeru

"I have made a decision, since it is too late to get on either you about having sex, and we know telling you not to do it or see each other again, that will only make things worse."

Ms Takaishi and Mrs. Yagami both nodded

"I am going to say this, don't rush things like your brother, be young and happy"

"We are happy daddy," Hikari said

"Let me finish Hikari, as I was saying. Please use protection and be careful. I don't need to have two grandchildren before I'm forty"

Hikari smiled across to Taichi, a glint in her eye showed how happy she was

"As for Taichi"

Taichi looked up, his spikey hair shown brown in the soft light

"You have become a man now Taichi, a father and a husband to be. You treat her with respect, and she will always be there, won't your Sora"

Sora nodded and blushed

"Don't think your getting off easy you four, we are all very upset. But there isn't a damn thing we can do about it now. So if you need us we will be there"

He glanced at Takeru

"And if you hurt my baby girl, you'll have me to worry with"

Takeru nodded

The table erupted into baby names and wedding plans, Mr. Yagami, Taichi and Takeru slid their chairs back away from the table, and went into the living room to watch TV.

A family always gets bigger had time goes, it expands and grows stronger, Mr. Yagami thought as he watched the boys talking about the soccer that was on the television.

The day ended on a better note than what Taichi thought would happen

The lights dimmed as Yamato crossed the stage, he flung up his hands as he swung his guitar around his waist. The crowd erupted; Yamato scanned the crowd and looked through it. There was Jyou and Mimi, Daisuke was in the pit, Iori couldn't come so where was...Ahh there was Miyako. And Taichi and Sora were up in the stands; Hikari and Takeru were in the pit away from Daisuke.

"Yamato we love you" two girls screamed

"Thank you, thank you" Yamato said

He looked down to see Koushiro and Jun standing on one side of the stage, and Janet and Michael on the other side.

The drummer began to beat the drums signaling that they were all ready. Yamato started to play a low rock riff and began to sing

"I guess we had our fun
But it seems that the fun is over

A small guitar solo brought them into the second verse

The fans started to sing with Yamato

The crowd went wild as the band died down. Yamato ran across the stage and did a "punk jump"

The crowd roared with its approval

Yamato looked around to see Taichi cheering from the back of the arena; he pointed a finger out to him, Taichi cheered louder. A pair of underwear flew across the stage, sliding across the stage

"Ok, I am Yamato and this is my band The Teenage Werewolves"

The crowd erupted again, the screams of the girls a lot louder of the guys, thank god Yamato thought, he was tired of being characterized as being gay, well we all know it isn't true

"So uhh, we are here to rock and roll here guys. So lets get back to work. Here's a slow called "Here's to the Night""

The crowd cheered

'So grab a girl and start dancing. It goes a little something like this"

He started to play a slow guitar riff; its mellow sound filled the room.

The crowd swayed from side to side, a couple of people had pulled out lighters and held them in the air. Sora had put her head on Taichi's shoulder, he kissed her forehead softly as Yamato continued

Mimi looked into Jyou's eyes

She looked up to him, her eyes welling in tears

"Your not going to loose me, we are going to talk to my parents about this weekend when your parents get here"

"I know, I'm just afraid..."

"Of what?"

"They send me away, I'll never get to see you again"

"They wont Mimi, I promise"

Mimi laid her head down in Jyou's lap, Jyou stroked her hair as Yamato started up again

The crowd slowly came to life, and the concert continued. A few times Yamato could hear Janet's screams louder than anyone else's.

"Yamato's band rules" Michael said

"Yeah they are really good, this is how I met him"

"OH I see"

Hey guys" a voice said behind him as Hikari and Takeru walked up

"Hey Hikari, Takeru, what are you two up to" Janet asked

"Not much just enjoying the show: Takeru said

"Hello Michael" Hikari said as she moved from side to side, her arm wrapped in Takeru's own.

Michael blushed slightly

"Hi Hikari, what up"

"Nothing much, having fun?"

"Oh yeah"

Takeru turned to see Michael

"Who is this Janet?"

Janet smiled, Takeru was getting jealous of the way Hikari looked at Michael

"This, Takeru, is my little brother Michael. He just got here from America, he a destine as well"

"Oh really, who's you partner"

"Terriermon..."

"Oh a Terriermon" Hikari squealed as she looked up to Takeru "They are soo cute, remember Willis's Takeru?"

"Uhh yeah, hey I think this is the last song"

They all turned to the stage. This guy, Takeru thought, this guy I might have to worry about...

On the other side...

Daisuke slammed into a couple of other guys, he was taking out his frustration on the littler guys, slamming them to the ground as Yamato played the last fast rock song. When it ended Daisuke was sweating terrible. He walked to a corner of the room and took a breather against the wall, he stood there with his eyes closed.

"Is this wall taken?" a familiar voice asked

"It's a free wall" he said bitterly

Miyako leaned up against the wall

"I'm sorry Daisuke"

"Sure you are Miyako"

"I am, please believe me"

"Believe you? Why should I. We go out and have fun, we share a special kiss. And you repay me for it by going back to him....I'm sorry I cant believe you"

Miyako started to cry, tears flowed down her cheeks

"Please believe me" she whimpered

"I cant"

Daisuke walked off, back to the pit. Miyako burst out crying, her sobs echoed off the walls of the room

"I love you Daisuke"

Daisuke stopped short

"What?"

"I'm in love with you. I realized that today"

Daisuke turned and stared at Miyako, her lavender hair stuck to the sides of her pink face

"You mean it?"

"Yes"

"Only you can make this new day, seem so new"

"What?"

"Its off a song I heard from America, that new kid Michael is really cool"

She laughed and rushed over to him and flung herself in his arms

"Daisuke"

"Miyako"

She looked up and kissed him as the last song began to play...

Yamato was winded, he wanted to take a break, but the show must go on. His throat was getting scratchy from the singing

"Ok you guys this is the last song"

The crowd moaned

"I know but it's getting late, and I wanna go do some stuff with my lady"

Janet blushed and twirled from side to side smiling up at him. Michael just shook his head as Takeru and Hikari laughed.

"So this song goes out to my friends that are here tonight, it's a new one"

The drums started as the Yamato played the guitar, soon the bassist joined in. The crowd cheered...

"Everything has fall to pieces

The destines scattered around the room cheered along with the crowd as the curtain went down.

Everything was getting back to normal again...Love has prevailed again
