DigiDOOM Part IV

Author's Notice: This story contains graphic visual images of violence, hell, swearing, and possibly sex (great sounding already, huh?). Anyway, you probably shouldn't be reading this if you are offended by this sort a' shit. Or... if you're 18. Sorry, law requires me to say that.

Chainguns and Digieggs and Cacodemons, Oh My!

The Digidestined had gathered in the school's computer room once again to plunge into the hell-infested depths of the Digital World. There was one problem, however...

"Where is he?" Cody asked impatiently, "He's always here before us, what would be taking him so long?"

"If you ask me, that Doom guy's a little off." Yolei said.

"Yeah, but still," Kari shrugged, "He's really the only person we can rely on to get us through all this."

"That's not true!" Demiveemon said defensively, "I bet we could make it through the Digital World without him. We can take it." Davis chortled and shook his head. A computer near them beeped and the screen changed. A great flash of light occurred and lying on the floor in front of them, clutching the bloody gash on his side, was Doom. To say that the Digidestined were surprised would be an understatement.

"Hi, how ya doin'?" Doom grunted, standing up.

"What happened to you?!" Kari asked.

"I was going through the Digiworld to scope out where the next weapon was and ran into a little trouble. The good news is I found where the chaingun is. The bad news is that it's in a cave crawling with Cacodemons and Pain Elements."

"What are those?" Davis asked.

"Pain Elements are giant balls of flesh and... well, pain, with one eye. They float around and spew out Lost Souls."

"And... what are lost souls?" Yolei said.

"They're flaming skulls. Tough, dumb, they fly, and are on fire. `Nuff said." Doom shrugged, "Cacodemons are like Pain Elements except they're red, have horns, are tougher, and spit balls of electricity at you."

"Wonderful." Cody sighed.

"Oh, that's not the end of it. I was hit pretty bad, so I won't be joining you."

"WHAT!!" The Digidestined cried together.

"You'll be fine. Just get in there, get the fucking gun, and get the hell out of there. We have to do this now or else they'll call for reinforcements and it'll be ten times worse."

"Well, Demiveemon, looks like you'll be getting your chance to back up what you were saying." Davis smiled at the small, blue Digimon. As they turned to a near-by computer, Doom stopped them.

"Hold it." He said, reaching behind him, "This might be useful." He tossed Davis his pistol and a few clips, "Try not to lose it, junior." Davis nodded and pocket the weapon.

Within no time, the team had assembled at the coordinates provided by Doom. Staring them in the face was a huge cave. Kari turned to the others.

"Let's make as little noise as possible. After the creatures we've seen around here, it would probably be a good idea to not run into anymore."

"Right," Davis nodded, "We still have the element of surprise."

The Digidestined silently walked through the dark hallways of the cave. A disagreeable odor was present as well as grunting and groaned from far off demons.

"Wait, Doom never told us where the gun was." Yolei whispered.

"Aww, that's right." Davis growled, "It could be anywhere. By the time we find it, we could be up to our knees in..."

"Hey, Davis," Flamedramon whispered to him, "What's this?" Davis looked over and saw the multiple barrels of a fully-automatic chaingun.

"Or it could be right here." The group walked over it, "Okay, lift it VERY slowly." Flamedramon nodded and grasped the heavy weapon. As he picked it out of the dirt, the others couldn't help but be nervous as they looked around. Seeing that Flamedramon had a now firm grasp on the weapon, the Digidestined turned to make a silent, yet hasty, getaway. Suddenly, Davis's Digivice flashed. He looked at it and groaned.

"It says there's a Digiegg around here." He said quietly.

"Then it's either mine or Davis's." Kari said, "You two go ahead and get the chaingun out of here. We'll be right out." Yolei and Cody nodded and Flamedramon gently handed the large weapon to Digmon.

Davis looked at his Digivice as Kari and their Digimon followed.

"It's right ahead. God, I can't wait to get out of this place." He shuddered.

"Me neither." Kari looked around and rubbed her arm. As the blip on Davis's digivice increased, he looked ahead and saw an opening to a larger cave. He the device and brought out Doom's pistol.

"Davis, do you know how to use that thing." Kari said nervously.

"It's not exactly rocket science."

"Good, because if it was, I'd be afraid with you holding it."

"Har har." Davis replied dryly. They crept into the cave. Darkness concealed the size of it and there was no telling where the walls were. The only light came from the center of the room. The faint glimmer of a Digiegg.

"Whose is it?" Davis asked. They stepped towards the egg and Kari looked at the symbol emblazed on it.

"It's the symbol for light. It must be mine."

"Then pull the sucker out of there and let's go!" Davis said hastily. Kari nodded and grasped the egg.

At that very moment, a few dust molecules, dislodged from their hiding place in the cave slowly fell from the ceiling. Unfortunately for the Digidestined, the dust made a direct B-line for Flamedramon's sinuses.

Flamedramon sniffed as he felt his nose itch. He covered his nose and tried not to dislodge whatever had gone into his nose. His eyes began burning as he held back the sneeze. Davis glanced at him and his eyes bulged.

"No! No, no no no no no!!" He ran over to Flamedramon and clamped his mouth shut. They struggled to hold in the sneeze as Kari lifted the Digiegg. After a few minutes of pure torture, Flamedramon finally subsided form the dust. They sighed in relief.

"Ahh... tch-choo!!" Everyone turned to the source of the noise. Gatomon rubbed her nose.

"Opps..." She swallowed. Within seconds, the halls filled with sounds of approaching hordes of monsters.

"You just COULDN'T hold it in, could you." Davis growled, pointing the pistol towards the cavern entrance. Kari looked at the Digiegg and lifted it.

"Digiarmor Energize!"

"Gatomon... Armor-Digivolve to... Nefertimon!" The sphinx Digimon and Flamedramon stood at ready at the entrance as well.

Silence. Then the first Cacodemon reared it's ugly head, which was pretty much its entire body. It was covered in wrinkled, red skin with several horns sticking out of the top of it. It had one green eye that scanned the room and located the Digidestined. It opened its gaping maw to reveal thousands of shark-like teeth with some form of electricity brewing and jumping in its throat. It shot a bluish ball of electrical power from it's mouth towards them.

Flamedramon immediately blocked with his armor-clad arms and returned with a Fire Rocket. It hit the floating demon-orb and put a nice-sized gash in it. Nonetheless, the Cacodemon plodded forward.

"Queen's Paw!" Nefertimon's snake's eyes light up with a purple-pink light that manifested into two lasers. They struck right through the Cacodemon's green eye and sent it to the floor, bleeding from its eye socket and the hole in the back of its head.

"One down." Davis swallowed. Another demon made its way to them. It was brown, also with one eye. Only two horns protruded out of its head and it actually had short, stubby arms. It spotted the Digidestined and, as the Cacodemon had done, opened its mouth. This time a fiery skull was emitted from it. It immediately flew towards Kari. She screeched and covered her face. As she looked up again, Flamedramon was holding the Lost Soul in his claws. He crushed it with little trouble, leaving nothing but a bloody mess on the cave floor left of the demon.

Nefertimon went to work attacking to huge brown Pain Element.

"Rosette Stones!" A triangle of purple-pink light was emitted from her back and multiple stones with odd writing on them flew towards the demon. They connected and sent the pain element reeling. Flamedramon leapt forward and dug his claws into its eye. The demon screamed horribly as a greenish goo dribbled out of its eye and onto Flamedramon's claws. It stumbled back, blinded by the blow. Flamedramon reared back and his claws erupted into flames. He brought it forward and shot several fireballs into the demon. It clenched its eye and exploded into flaming bits of gore and flesh.

More Pain Elements and Cacodemons filled the room. Flamedramon drove his claws into the eye of a Cacodemon and sent it into the wall with a "splat."

"I'd love to stay and shoot the breeze with these wonderful demons." He said sarcastically, "But maybe we should consider RUNNING." Davis and Kari nodded and they ran towards the cave entrance. A stray Lost Soul blocked their path, gnashing it's teeth at them. With inhuman speed it shot towards them.

"Davis, shoot it!" Kari screech. Davis watched, petrified with fear as the flaming skull advanced rapidly on them. Kari shook him but to no avail.

"DAVIS, SHOOT IT!" She slapped him. He shook out of the daze and lifted the pistol. Inches before the demon could bite them, Davis fired. The kickback was amazing, knocking Davis unknowingly to his back. The flaming skull spun through the air, forced back by the bullet that drove through it's head. It fell tot he ground and simply burned, becoming an inanimate object yet again. Davis stared at what he had just done and then at the pistol. Kari helped him up and they looked to Nefertimon and Flamedramon.

"Let's get OUT of here." Kari yelled. The two Digimon nodded and turned to the exit. Flamedramon sent a Pain Element spinning to the ground with a single slash as Nefertimon head-butted a Cacodemon into the cave wall. They ran swiftly through the cave's tunnels; hundreds of blood-thirsty demons behind them. Soon, they saw daylight.

"There's the entrance!" Kari yelled.

"Then let's get OUT OF HERE!" Davis yelled back, all of them running like they had never ran before. Flamedramon turned around and ran backwards, firing multiple fireballs into the spray of monsters. They broke free from the darkness of the cave. Digmon was waiting for them and as soon as he saw them exit the cave, he drove his drills into rocky earth above the entrance and boulders fell, covering the entrance. Not a moment too soon. The boulders manage to wound a Pain Element as it exited the cave. It rolled to the ground and groaned, writing on the ground with blood pouring from it's head. Davis immediately ran towards it.

"GAHHH! DIE, YOU LITTLE BROWN BASTARD!!" He yelled like a madman as he unloaded an entire clip of bullet's into the demon's body. Blood sprayed all over his clothes as he continually pulled the trigger. Soon, the demon stopped moving, but Davis just stood there, frozen with what he had witnessed before, clicking an empty gun at the demon. Kari slowly walked up to him and pulled the gun from his hands.

"Davis, it's dead." She said quietly. He stood, panting a the scene and shook his head of sweat. He fell to his knees and lurched over, retching on the ground. As he finished he rolled to the side with exhaustion.

"How... does... Doom... do this?" He panted. A faint glow emanated from inside the corpse of the Pain Element. Everyone tensed up again and Davis sat up, loading a fresh clip into the pistol. After some slight movements from the brown demon, it exploded. A Lost Soul literally screamed from out of the demon's body. It flew around randomly before stopping in front of Kari. Kari looked at the demon with fear and back away. Suddenly, she noticed something different, something oddly... familiar about the flaming skull.

"Kari, GET BACK!" Davis ran towards them.

"No, wait." She put up a hand. The skull floated harmlessly in the air, looking at Kari. She took a step forward and everyone held their breath. Suddenly, Kari gasped.

"T... T.K.?"

The Digidestined appeared, with a flash, in the computer room, returning from the horrific experience. As Doom saw them and the chaingun, he smiled.

"Not bad, roughnecks." He nodded, "This will definitely help us quite a bit." He grabbed the gun from Davis and looked it over, "And it looks like it wasn't banged up too-FUCK!" He leapt back, seeing a flaming skull floating behind the Digidestined, "SHIT! One got through!" He pointed his newly acquired Gun at the skull.

"No! WAIT!" Kari ran to him, "I know him."

"Him? What the fuck are you talking about? It's an IT! And IT must be destroyed."

"No... I know him... it's T.K." Doom looked at the docile Lost Soul. He looked back at Kari and she nodded. He walked up to it and looked it over. He stopped in front of it and stared at it. It stared blankly back at him. Doom lurched forward suddenly, frightening the Lost Soul. IT jumped and flew back slightly. Doom chuckled.

"Yea, it's that kid all right. Any other demon would have bitten my face off." He sat back down in a chair.

"So what do we do? How do we get T.K. back?" Kari asked.

"Hmm?" Doom raised an eyebrow, "You don't."

"WHAT?!" Everyone yelled.

"Just what I said, NO. It's impossible."

"But... there must be some way..." Kari looked helplessly at T.K.'s floating entity.

"Nope. In fact, he;s in horrible pain right now. We'll have to put him down."

"NO!" Kari yelled, "YOU CAN'T!"

"He's like a racehorse with a broken leg, he's better off dead."

"NO, there HAS to be a way!" Kari screamed, sobbing slightly.

"LOOK!" Doom yelled suddenly, "I'm not the one who makes the rules. Now we can either kill him now, or wait until we destroy the Mother Brain and have him killed anyway. Once that Mother Brain dies, so will he. If he could talk, he would BEG us to kill him now." He grasped Kari's shoulders, "Listen to me. It's the best thing to do. Would you rather drag out his torture, or set him free?" Kari whimpered and looked at the ground. She pulled away and walked over to T.K.'s soul.

"Do you... really want us to destroy you?" She asked softly. It looked at her for a moment before slowly nodding.

"P... pl... pleasssse." It hissed. Kari's eyes were filled with tears and she released a sob, walking away from T.K. Doom stood up and put out his hand to Davis. He slowly drew Doom's pistol and handed it to him. Doom cocked the pistol and approached T.K.'s soul. Kari turned away from the scene and held her ears tightly, closing her eyes and sobbing. Doom rose his pistol to become even with the Lost Soul's forehead.

"Sorry." He said silently, closing his eyes and pulling the trigger...

A.E.: Wow... that's deep man. But still, not bad for the plot, eh? And, hey, think about it, no more competition for Davis *inappropriate laughter*. But seriously, I think I'm doing good so far; cruising through these it getting easier now. Sorry I didn't get around to writing this enough, I'll try to be a little more on top of my stories from now on. I've been thinking about it and... I've really considered putting ONE sex story in here. No, no, I won't have Kari be raped by a Cyberdemon... hmm... that's not a bad idea... but still, it will just be regular sex. I have also finished creating my "DOOM: The Sounds of Hell" CD. It will be especially for this story including "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zepplin in loving memory of T.K. Hey, I know I hated the guy, but it's the least I can do for you T.K./Patamon fans. To write to me and give condolences to T.K.'s final resting soul (which I will place in my last story *groan*), or to ask me to send you the soundtrack, send them to my E-Mail address. Well, until next time, I hope to see you all again, faithful readers.
