Chapter 5: A Happy Occurrence

 

Dan could see he had severely irritated Rennie and that caused him some degree of pain. Juliar had left some minutes ago but neither of them had cleaned up the mess on the floor. Dan took a deep breath “Rennie, I’m sorry about that but I woke up after you started; I didn’t want to interrupt…” She laughed at his feeble excuse “I can’t blame you for anything. Just don’t startle me like that! I’m the one who’s sorry; I shouldn’t have overreacted.” Her smile was like the sun coming up “That’s a relief… I suppose I’ll get something to clear up that mess then!” He chuckled “No, wait a second; I’ve always wanted to try this spell…” She stood next to the puddle of clear fluid and waved her paw over it “Erase.” It vanished like it was never there. Dan whistled “That’s a useful one.” Rennie grinned “Surprising thing is; I found that in the necromancer’s book! Whoever it was must have been a real clean freak!” They laughed “True, but your back still needs a wash.” She blushed as she noticed the cum on her back “I agree. Wanna help?” Dan’s face contorted “Ew! Rennie! That’s disgusting!” She laughed at the face he made “Oh, OK. I’ll have a shower.” She walked to the bathroom, swishing her backside outrageously “Rennie, you little fox, you!” She smiled wickedly.

 

Dan still couldn’t find Juliar, it was like he had vanished. Dan had searched the entire palace for him yet he remained elusive and no one had seen him. Dan stopped suddenly smiling slightly and without turning round, grabbed Juliar. “You don’t sneak too good, Jules.” Dan said ominously “Ack! Don’t kill me…” Juliar squeaked “Hey! I’m joking! How can I be mad at you, anyway?” He looked fairly frightened “Very easily, Dan…” Dan chuckled “Let me explain something to you… Not long after I met Rennie, I realized that the line dividing humans from animals is actually very thin. In other words; we all have an animal locked up in our minds somewhere. Every now and again, it gets loose and we act without any rational intent. That was just one of those times.” Dan’s explanation calmed Juliar greatly “I suppose you’re right, I just couldn’t stop myself!” He jittered slightly “You’re still nervous? Come on! Rennie has gone off with other people before, I don’t blame them. The only time I get angry is if it was against her will; I know you won’t do that.” Juliar relaxed completely “OK… I think I understand now. Thanks.” Dan laughed “No problem! But you are very transparent, I could see you were attracted to her right off… And vice versa of course! I must remember that she likes it hard sometimes…” Juliar blushed violently.

 

Rennie was also searching for the missing monarch. “Where is he? Argh! They always get scared if Dan interrupts… Wait a second… Just how long was he awake? Oh, the horney devil.” She giggled to herself “I think I’ll teach them both a lesson…”

 

Dan and Juliar walked down a corridor “I didn’t think she would actually do that!” Juliar exclaimed to his friend “I know what you mean! She looks so innocent… Heh!” Dan shook his head suddenly “Why the long face?” Juliar found Dan’s sudden change of mood disturbing “Oh, it’s nothing… Actually it’s fairly major for Rennie…” Now he was interested “How major?” Dan looked at his friend “Are you sure you want to know? Ah! Don’t answer that! I’ve guessed your answer already.” Juliar tapped his foot on the floor “So?” Dan couldn’t see any way out of it “OK, fine. Just don’t let Rennie know I told you this. You see; we’re unable to have children together.” Juliar didn’t expect that “Why?” Dan shook his head again “She thinks it’s just that she’s a Renamon and I’m not, simple as that.” Juliar could feel his friend’s sadness in this matter “Don’t worry… I’m sure anything can happen if you want it enough.” Dan sighed “Thanks for that but I can’t get my hopes up… ACK!” He jumped violently “What is it? WAH!” They both looked at each other in surprise “What?” Dan clicked his fingers but wore an embarrassed look “Oh shit… Sorry, Jules. Rennie’s playing games again.” Juliar looked confused “But… That doesn’t make sense… EEP!” He grabbed his crotch “She IS a mage, you know?” Rennie walked round the corner with an innocent look on her face “Oh, there you are, Juliar. I see Dan found you first though.” Dan spoke to her bluntly “OK, Rennie. You can stop playing now.” He looked at her sternly “Aw! You’re no fun at all!” She whined. They all laughed heartily.

 

Dan and Rennie were walking to the bakery she and Juliar had visited. “Dan, I have some… Rather surprising news.” Rennie smiled at her lover “Oh?” He returned the smile warmly “I wasn’t sure at first but now I am… Can you guess?” She giggled excitedly “No idea. Now I’m really interested! Go on!” Dan gestured “Oh, OK… You remember what we did around four months ago?” She slyly said “How could I forget? Ah! That was one of the best days of my life!” Dan chuckled “I’ve missed all my period since then… Which can mean only one thing…” She put her paw on his cheek, Dan suddenly felt light headed “You’re…” She finished the sentence for him “Pregnant…” He gawked at her in astonishment before pulling her into a tight cuddle “Oh, Rennie… I’ve been hoping…” Dan couldn’t contain himself, he did a quick back flip “Hell, yea!” Rennie laughed at his antics “You’re happy about it then?” He held her paws and looked into her eyes “Without any limit…” They kept that stance for a moment, then Rennie jumped into a hug “You like?” Dan rested his head on her as he returned the embrace, tears streaming from his eyes “Without a doubt. Oh, I love you so much!”

 

Juliar was feeling depressed, yet he couldn’t see the reason. “That’s really sad… It must be awful.” He said to himself “Too bad I can’t do anything… Or can I?” He froze as he thought this; a slow smile escaped him. “I might find something in my library!” Juliar was about to dash off but he spotted Dan and Rennie coming down the corridor towards him. Dan was kissing her neck; making her hunch up and giggle. Juliar couldn’t help finding this cute, he uttered a slight “Aw!” as they passed. Rennie looked round “Oh! Dan, he’s right here!” she exclaimed before squealing as Dan nibbled the back of her neck playfully. He stopped “There you are, Jules! I have excellent news!” Juliar could see the beam on his face “Uh oh! You’re not going to embarrass me, are you?” He joked “That’s not funny! Anyway, Rennie’s pregnant! I’m going to be a dad!” Dan jumped up and down in excitement. Rennie tried to hold him down “Calm down! You’ll jump through the ceiling!” She laughed. Juliar’s attention turned to her “So? When?” he asked with a grin “Four months ago… Wasn’t sure enough before the final conformation!” She patted a tiny bulge in her middle. “Way to go, Dan!” Juliar gave Dan a hi-five. “So, uh… How much longer?” He asked them, Rennie blushed “Anytime, from here to next month.” This made Juliar jump “Whoa! We may need a couple of nurses then!” Dan put a hand on his friend’s shoulder “Thanks but I want to help her myself… Having nurses here is just silly.” Juliar got the message “Oh, right. Sorry. I forgot about that.”

 

Much later, Dan and Rennie were having a shower together. “I really can’t wait!” Dan said gleefully “You and your impatience.” Rennie giggled back “I wonder…” He suddenly had a serious look on his face “Are you OK? Dan!” She poked him in the ribs “Ouch! What? Oh… I’m just worrying myself.” Dan scratched his head “I know you! It’s something important.” Rennie tried to coax him into telling her “I’m just worried that… I mean, what if…” He sighed deeply “It’s really bothering you. Why don’t I help taking your mind off it?” She ran her paw across his chest “I think I better tell you now…” Dan took hold of her paw “Oh, OK.” Rennie said rather disappointedly “It’s just that I’m worried about whether our baby will be… You know… Human or Renamon… I don’t want to know what could happen if it’s both!” Fear crept into his voice “We won’t know till later… Either way, I’ll love being a mum!” Rennie said exitedly, trying to cheer Dan up. It worked brilliantly; “I bet you will! Let’s go to bed then. I don’t know about you but I’m bushed!” She looked at him disappointedly “Huh? Aw, no sex?” Rennie felt slightly jaded “I really don’t want to risk it. Besides, I was looking forward to some snuggling!” Dan laughed, Rennie couldn’t help joining in. “Oh, alright.” She gave in with a smile; feeling much better. They got out of the shower and each grabbed a towel and dried each other. When they were dry Dan suddenly picked Rennie up in his arms “To the bed!” He said dramatically and charged off with her giggling at him. Dan put her down on the bed first then jumped in, pulling up the sheets. “Good night.” Rennie whispered when Dan shuffled over and put his arms round her. She found herself becoming sleepy and drifted off quickly, Dan followed.

 

Rennie woke up with a startled oath “What the…?” She looked round. It was still dark and Dan was sleeping quietly, his arms still around her. “Ah!” Rennie felt a pain in her abdomen. Dan woke with a start, trying to stand up but he lost balance and fell off the bed with a thump. “Owie… Rennie?” He picked himself up and saw the pained look on her face “Are you alright?” He began worrying immediately, she looked back with a frown “That was weird, I could have sworn… Ah!” The pain stabbed at her senses again “Oh my God! Where does it hurt?” Dan ran back to her “Here…” She whimpered and put a paw on her abdomen, Dan seemed startled but broke into a grin after a moment “I though I’d have to wait for this.” Rennie was confused “For what? You don’t think…” She left it hanging before she felt the pain return again and sank her claws into the bed with a hiss. Dan grabbed some towels and his backpack, placing the towels on the floor; he searched through his bag quickly. He found the green bottle but continued to rummage until he found a small glass tube with a lump of rubber in one end and a thin metal spike on the other. Rennie gasped as another contraction hit her hard “It hurts…” She whimpered slightly. Dan heard her “Don’t worry, it won’t in a moment.” He stuck the metal spiked end of the syringe into the medicine bottle and pulled on the rubber, some of the liquid got pulled in and he tested the syringe; squirting a little into the air. Rennie found the pain unbearable on her third, yelling out “Dan! It hurts so much!” She cried for him, Dan looked for a good spot on her thigh and, when he spotted a major vein, poked the metal spike into her; pressing on the rubber to inject the medicine. Rennie gasped when she felt it, looking down to see “What’s that… AH!” Another contraction making her yell loudly “This is a syringe, I’m giving you some of my medicine to ease the pain.” Dan removed the sharp object, rubbing lightly where he injected her. Rennie nodded in agreement “Thank you… Uh.” This contraction didn’t hurt her so much, she could still feel it but the pain was dulled immensely. “Better?” Dan saw the look of relief on her face “Yes… Much…” She sighed nicely. “It’s not over yet. You’ll have to start pushing soon.” Dan told her grimly, holding one of her paws. Rennie nodded back, waiting. Dan saw another contraction starting “Right, go on, push!” He timed it carefully; she obliged and pushed as hard as she could for a few seconds before stopping with a sharp exhalation. Dan squeezed her paw “Keep it up.” They smiled at each other. The procedure was repeated several times before Dan looked to check for any visible progress, he spotted something yellow and smooth poking out slightly. He turned to grin at Rennie “Just a few more.” She looked right back, giving her own grin while Dan moved back to keep his eyes on what was happening.

 

Dan grabbed a towel and placed it under Rennie’s stretched vagina. He picked up another one and got ready. Rennie gave an extra hard push in time with her contraction and the egg slid out halfway “Just one more nudge will do it!” Dan informed her gladly while he took hold of it with the towel. Rennie gave one last shove and the egg eased out into Dan’s hands. She felt a piercing pleasure wash over her and moaned. Dan pushed a towel to her as some blood gushed out before carefully drying the egg. It was yellow with white patches all over, Dan handed it to Rennie who, squealing in delight, took it; a surprised yet pleased smile plastered on her face. Dan shared the smile and gave her a quick hug “Happy?” He asked “Yes.” She announced with glee, cuddling the egg to her chest fur gently; her eyes brimming. Rennie cried with happiness and placed the egg on the pillow, resting her cheek on it. Dan, his eyes also streaming, laid down and did the same. He took her paws in his hands gently. They fell asleep in that position.
