        Sora was sitting crying into her hands she had never been so sad. She
enjoyed being with Tai but she still had strong feelings for Joe. She was
confused. She had never been that good at understanding her feelings let
alone love. She needed to talk to someone but whom?

        "Hello Sora." She knew who it was before she looked up. The voice may
have been more somber then ever before but it was Joe's voice. She looked up
through her tears at his kind face. He sat down next her and sighed. "You
fucked up." She looked at the ground and nodded. It was true she had fucked
up worse then ever before. "Why?"

        "I was confused. I felt something towards Tai and he needed me. It
felt right."

        "What you felt for him was stronger then what you felt for me?"

        "I don't know."

        "Did you enjoy being with him?"

        "Yes."

        "Do you want to be with him again?"

        "I think so."

        "What about me?"

        "I want to be with you to."
 
        "Not as much as you want to be with Tai do."

        "I'm not sure."

        "I am. If you had wanted to be with me more then you wanted to be
with him wouldn't have betrayed me. You would have stayed true. You went with
what felt right. And I didn't. You don't feel for me like you do for Tai. I
hope you two will be happy together." As he finished that sentence he stood
and walked away trying not to break down. He wanted to look back and see Sora
run after him but he knew she wouldn't and he knew that even if she did he
could never be with her. Maybe in time they could be friends but not lovers
never lovers. Sora understood. She was loved Joe but she was in love with
Tai. She had to go to him.

        "What was I thinking?" Joe asked himself. "Of course she would end up
with Tai. They were perfect for each other. I should have known that she
wouldn't have been happy with me."

        "Why?"

        "Ahhh."

        "Did I scare you?"

        "Just a little bit Lillymon. I thought you were with the other
digimon and those Floramon."

        "Well I wasn't in the mood for a digi orgy."

        "Thank you for that visual."

        "You're welcome. But hey you shouldn't talk. You had a good time with
two digi-girls." She said with a wink. Joe blushed slightly as he remembered

        "So why aren't you with the others?"

        "I wanted to be alone Joe."

        "Yeah me too."

        "Wanna be alone together?"

        "Sure. I always hated being alone by myself."

        "So you and Sora broke up?"

        "Yeah."

        "How'd you know she wanted to be with Tai?"

        "She fucked him."

        "Oh. I know how that feels." Joe looked up at Lillymon who was
sitting on a branch a few feet above him. He could almost see up her skirt
but he was trying not to.

        "What do you mean?"

        "Izzy."
        "You and Izzy."

        "I've wanted him since we meet. But I as too scared. I told him but
he said he was with Mimi and that he couldn't betray her. But I still love
him."

        "Love for the unreachable."

        "I guess."

        "Well it could be worse."

        "How?"

        "We could be like Matt."

        "What do you mean?"

        "In love with Ladydevimon."

        "Yeah, I guess you're right."

        "Not for nothing but Izzy has to be very strong to turn you down. I
mean you're beautiful, sweet, and kind." Lillymon blushed at the compliments
she had never really been given any before.

        "Do you really think so?"

        "Absolutely. It hadn't been for Sora I would have tried to be with
you."

        "I always did like you too. Joe I know that we love other people but
I think that maybe we could make each other happy for a while."

        "What do you mean?"

        "We could be together."

        "Like friends."

        "Like lovers."

        "That's a big step." Joe said as he jumped up and sat on the branch
that Lillymon was sitting on. He took her hand in his and looked into her
eyes. She smiled at him as she moved closer. Her face was a few inches from
his as she spoke.

        "A big step in the right direction?"

        "I think so." He said as he leaned in and passionately kissed her on
her lips as they feel into each other's hands and hearts.
