Letter from the Author – “My Academy Award Speech”

Dear Reader,

The following work is a mega lemon taking place years after the end of Digimon: Digital Monster's third season. This work is sexual fiction that is not suitable for minors under the age of eighteen, and may be illegal in your Jerisdiction. By continuing beyond this disclaimer, you acknowledge that you are viewing this story at your own risk. I take no responsibility.

Okay, now that the pleasantries are done with, I just wanted to talk a little bit about this lemon. See, I planned to write a mega lemon called Codename: Prometheus pertaining to my Forever's End series, but since it's not really popular (yet,) I decided to take that time and energy and put it into something that everyone could enjoy. This lemon is a sequel to the normal-sized lemon, "Mon in the Mirror," written during the summer of 2003, and is probably one of the most well-written fan fics I've written. Many people enjoyed the plot, and the pairing, so I promised them ages ago that I'd write a sequel to that masterpiece- however, I never got around to it.

Shortly after the publication of Mon in the Mirror I fell into the biggest rut of my short lemon writing career. For months and months I didn't release any new material, wasn't visiting message boards or chat rooms. It seemed that I was just another one of those "wham bam thank you ma'am" authors who vanished into nothingness after a few one hit wonders. I became interested in other things such as wrestling PBeM RPG's, website design, and whatnot. It seemed like there would never be another Notorious lemon again, let alone a sequel to one of my Exhibition lemons.

But then, I came back in around March of 2003 with my first new lemon in over six months, Forever's End V: Where Angels Loose Their Wings, another one of the lemons on my long to-do list where the characters in my story finally make it to the Digital World. After that, I became a bit lazy again, but I was back in the community after my extended absence. Until the latter half of May I was busy with my other online affairs, and outlines for Forever's End, but I came back with a couple of new works: Forever's End VI: Through The Looking Glass, Picture Perfect. It was at that time I announced plans for a lemon extravaganza over the summer break; an attempt to create some kind of fan base and get my name out there.

Angered by the fact that nobody gave feedback on my work, I left the Digiartistsdomain where I started, and came to the rival Digimon Hentai Zone, a move which I think helped my career a bit. I gained a few more fans, and this fueled me to write Human Nature, a Harry Potter fic. Noting the demand for more Harry Potter hentai material, I decided to supply those who still bothered to read lemons with a nearly thirty page work involving Hermione as a catgirl, and an adult Myrtle. With a solid ten lemons to my name, and even a short poem I released the same day, I was feeling pretty good about myself.

Now my lemon count was in double digits, and a few more people knew who I was. With people famous in the community such as Chronos, RedRover, and Sonimon giving my works rave reviews, especially the first edition of Forever's End the infamous When it Rains lemon which won third place in a RedRover lemon contest, I felt that it was finally worth devoting more energy and time into this, and concentrated more avidly on my summer project. I had already completed one of the lemons I had planned, the Harry Potter lemon, so now I had a few more projects planned: Codename: Prometheus, After school, Humanity, and at least one episode of Forever's End for the summer; No Vacancies.

It was at that time that I began writing Codename: Prometheus a lemon that I had planned taking place fifty years in the future where three members of the Digimon Tamers made it home, and are seeking traveling back in time to save the full group. The main aim of it was to get more people interested in the series (which has plans for sixty-seven full episodes) by creating a lemon filled with lemon scenes - Forever's End was lacking in these scenes because of the emphasis on plot. However, I realized a number of things that would make this lemon unsuccessful in advance; one being that in order to avoid having the megalemon not give plot spoilers, I needed to wait until I finished writing the Blood and Water collection of Forever End's episodes because of an important event taking place within. Another thing I noted was that my attempt to make Forever's End more popular with this megalemon, I needed to at least crack ten episodes, and get a buzz going about it before I introduced the megalemon, otherwise, it wouldn't work.

Sadly, I put Codename: Prometheus on hold which dwindled my projects down to a much more manageable amount, but because of my desire to create a good plot in my stories, and mingle that with good lemon scenes, I still needed to write a megalemon in order to display my writing ability - after all, I had been looking forward to writing a big work this summer. It was then that I realized my long belated promise to write a sequel to Mon in the Mirror, and the amazing potential created by the story of that Exhibition. At the end of it, Renamon made a promise to her lover before sending her off on MirrorGronni to the Digital World to avoid problems of having two Renamons in the real world, and so I pursued this idea.

I apologize to everyone who waited almost a year to read this, and I hope that it was well worth the wait. I would like to thank the Digiartistsdomain for starting me off, The Digimon Hentai Zone for paying closer attention to my talents, Sonimon for giving me much needed praise in his reviews, Chronos for being one of the only two or three people who, to my knowledge, see my massive Forever's End project as more than When It Rains, and for helping me with an important scene in the lemon, Rageromon for nagging me constantly for the past year to write this sequel, and over Catgirl for proofing this damned thing, and Red Rover for making me feel like I was somebody to be recognized. And thank you for reading this story!

Sincerely,

Notorious
