“That is correct.  I do not have enough knowledge about this world to explain to you about it.  Legacimon originates in that world, along with his council” Azulongmon continued to explain.

“You could put it that way.  However, Legacimon is the only mega level digimon there.  The remaining 5...”

“Yes.  The remaining 5 are currently at champion level, but Legacimon has worked out numerous ways of allowing them to digivolve to Ultimate.  The Digivices they have obtained contains the compressed power of the D-Reaper, as you know...”

“It seems he has.  He has managed to extract the crests and digimental eggs from the digital world and he plans to convert them for the council’s use.  I also suspect that there is a sinister power behind them though.  Legacimon wouldn’t be that powerful otherwise, but, as I said, I don’t know enough about this third dimension.” Azulongmon finished.

“But why couldn’t we digivolve? Was it because of the D-Reapers?” Ken asked.

“Most likely.  You tried to stop us from digivolving by using a more powerful digivice – the D3.  He is probably doing the same thing” Izzy told Ken, who dropped his head in shame.

“Don’t worry Ken.  All has been forgiven.  You’re on our side now, and you can’t forget that” Yolei put her hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

“Izzy is right.  You cannot defeat Legacimon with the Mark I digivices, the D3’s or the D-Arks” Azulongmon told them.

“What? Not even the D-Arks?” Takato asked.

“No.  The D-Reaper, what they have called their aptly named digivice, is too powerful.  You must be issued with new digivices” Azulongmon told them.  Suddenly, Takato’s D-Ark started to glow.  Tai looked on, and thought about his own.  As he pulled his digivice out, his also started to glow.  Everyone pulled their digivice out to find it glowing.

“DVL is Digivolution.  You use this mode to digivolve” Azulongmon replied.

“But why error Azulongmon?  Why can’t we digivolve still?”  Veemon asked.

“The D-Units need time to get used to its owner.  You will be able to digivolve in time, but it will take time.  You cannot take digivolution for granted, it must be earned once again” Azulongmon told them.  It was going to be a long explanation.

Alyfeadermon, Toximon and Megamon sat around the new headquarters which Blademon had just created, with the crests and eggs on the table.

“It’s complete.  We can begin to download the crests and eggs now.” Megamon replied.

“Let’s do it then” Toximon said.  He picked up the crest of courage and placed it on the compressor.  On the image screen, a picture of Wargreymon appeared.

“We have our own unique one.  The crests of Poison, Violence, Destruction, Fear, Brutality and Darkness.  Yours is the Crest of Destruction.” Megamon told him.

“Excellent.  Infuse my D-Reaper immediately.  I shall go and defeat the Sovereign as soon as possible” Legacimon announced.
