Death suits her well - by MISTER BIG T

Ever had a day when everything goes wrong? Even first-class hit(wo)men get those kinds of days.

Mia gave a yawn and stretched her hands. She looked at her watch. She was bored as hell.

"Oh how I miss you Master Jack..." she thought to herself as she closed her eyes.

She recalled all the happy times she had with him, all the times when they had tortured a human together.

Mia removed her gray school uniform she always wore and placed it into a washing machine. The dried up blood would soon be gone.

She went into a shower and let the warm water pour down all over her body. She was thinking of only one thing. How she had spared Davis on her last job.

"I wonder if he wants revenge?" she thought to herself while rubbing herself with some soap, cleansing every part of her body.

She shook the idea from her head. Even if Davis would thirst for revenge, he wasn't able to fulfill that need. And he was way too afraid of what she could do to him to tell to anyone.

"I guess I'll look if anyone would like me to kill someone,“ she thought to herself as she shut down the shower and began to wipe herself clean.

After wrapping herself in a towel, she started up the computer and looked at her inbox. No e-mails.

She gave a sigh and leaned more into the chair. She was bored and there wasn't even anyone she could forward all the pressures at. There was absolutely nothing she could do to make her feel less bored. But little did Mia know that she should enjoy this small moment of silence, as long as it would last...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mia opened her notebook and immediately went to the part where she had begun to draw the disfigured body of Davis. She loved the sight of what she called "Labyrinth of Pain." She began to color the picture seeing as there really was nothing else to do.

If she had not been so focused in her work, Mia could have probably noticed it. Mia would have probably stood a chance.

Suddenly a strong arm grabbed her from behind and tossed her on the floor. When she tried to get up, a big foot was pressed against her back making her fall back to the floor.

"How did you get in, I have the only key?!" Mia screamed as she tried to see whom it was.

"You think that small lock would actually hold me back?" the voice spoke up.

"Who are you? What do you want from me?" Mia exclaimed as she tried to search for a possible weapon she could use.

"I am.... Doesn't matter. And what I want? I want you Mia to kill someone," the voice spoke up.

"Look you could have done this much easier. I am a killer and I could kill anyone you'd want if you'd pay enough," Mia spoke while grinding her teeth together. She was in serious pains.

"Oh no you wouldn't. You'd not kill this victim without me making you," the voice spoke up as a hand reached down to move her hair away from her face.

"Then who is this person?" Mia replied, curiously.

"Yourself," the voice said sternly.

Mia could not believe her ears. Sure she had heard about unhappy customers but this was already ridiculous.

"Why you want me to die?" she asked.

"Did you ever ask any of the other victims why they had to die? Was there supposed to be a reason for anyone to die by your hand?" the voice said with somewhat cocky tone.

Mia was silent.

"Well it does matter, when we are being speaking of my life. Not to mention, I don't realize exactly what will I get from committing a suicide," she finally answered back.

"Good answer. It appears to me that I really did make the correct decision of contacting you, anyone else would probably plead me to spare them," the voice spoke while letting go off Mia.

"You mean this was a test?" Mia asked as she began to get up but suddenly felt the arm stop her.

"Don't look at my direction," the 'customer' spoke.

Mia gave a nod.

"I'd like to keep my identity to myself for now. Considering how you are as a person, privacy is only a securing blanket for me," the voice continued.

"I never harm the paying customers," Mia suddenly spoke up.

"Well doesn't matter. My task I've given is somewhat beyond your usual tasks," the voice muttered.

"What is it?" Mia finally replied.

The man threw a photo front of Mia. Mia picked it up and saw a small smiling girl about age 3-4.

"You want me to kill the girl?" Mia asked while not being able to hide her surprise.

"No, no, no. She is my daughter. She was kidnapped by my furious ex, who didn't want to share her with me," the voice explained. Mia could sense it was more deplorable than earlier.

"Ah so you want me to find your child and kill your ex?" Mia asked as she now started to realize the whole picture.

"Yes I do. Please return my child unharmed to me. Do whatever you want with my ex just bring my daughter back," the voice said.

"Have you tried asking police?" Mia asked.

"They've found no clues of her whereabouts," the man spoke.

"Very well, I'll give it my best try," Mia replied.

The man gave a photo of the ex and some information he knew. He then left off wishing Mia good luck to her search.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mia had been tracking the woman and the girl for quite sometime already. She had visited the old home, the school, everything. All traces seemed to lead to nowhere.

Til one day, just accidentally, Mia was visiting a nearby hotel to spend a night there. She had returned to her room after visiting the restaurant section for a small meal when she noticed the maid who was changing sheets. The maid was the ex.

Mia immediately pounded against the woman as she pushed a pillow against her face.

"Where's the girl??" she yelled and raised the pillow.

The maiden tried to scream but Mia hit her into her chest, making air escape from her lungs and pushed the pillow over her mouth again.

"Wrong answer! Tell me where she is!!!" Mia screamed.

The woman tapped on Mia's shoulder as in a sign of submission. Mia raised the pillow. The woman gasped for air and told that they were staying for rent at nearby home and begged Mia to listen to the story in her perspective.

Mia really didn't care about her perspective though. She threw the woman throughout the window making her fall from the 20th floor.

"The divorce really broke her apart," Mia joked to herself as she observed the remains from the window.

Happy with gaining the address, Mia left off quickly towards the home. Upon finally reaching her destination she knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" the young voice questioned.

"Your mother was in a freak accident. Please come with me," Mia explained in softest voice she could muster.

There came a small cry of 'no' from the other side of the door as the little girl opened it. Mia immediately greeted her with a chloroform rag against her mouth.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Several days later.

Mia was about to return to another hideout of her as she began to ponder out how to move the girl un noticed and so that she wouldn't cry out anything stupid. She thought of putting her into a small luggage but the girl would probably choke to death. Then she got it.

Mia went to pick a huge sports bag, the one where they put the clubs and other stuff in. The sleeping tiny girl fitted into the bag very well and just to make sure she wouldn't choke, Mia had poked certain air holes to the bag.

Mia looked at her watch. The little girl wouldn't wake up in hours from the amount of the drug she had given to her a while ago, so she took a bus to the location the man had given and called him. However a headline in a magazine had caught her attention before getting into the bus.

'The woman who had escaped an abusive husband with their girl was found dead. The girl has gone missing.'

"The bastard had lied to me... The mother just escaped him because of how he was," Mia thought to herself.

But that was not her concern. The money was.

Mia opened the bag in the appointed place and took hold of the girl from her shoulders, making her raise up and gently placed her hand over Mia's own. Mia then walked the girl to the place where the father was already waiting.

"I owe you an apology,“ the man said.

"No need to. Where’s my money?" Mia asked.

"It's behind me. Your job is now complete," The man stated.

"Thanks! I thought you'd never say that!" Mia happily replied.

She took hold of the girl’s head and twisted it around, breaking her neck in an instant and making the lifeless body fall to ground.

"You wanted her to be brought to you alive. We never talked about anything after that." Mia giggled.

"You...You... You bastard!!!" the man screamed as he ran towards Mia only to meet his end from Mia's hunting knife.

"Sometimes things really don't go as planned…" Mia thought as she cleaned her knife and took the cash bag.

Mia is still an assassin.
