Battle of North and South - Original series by MISTER BIG T

And so, the battle begins.

Chapter 6: Preparing for a battle

Arcoul and Miwako rode into the ranks of soldiers waiting for her command.

"Glory ou morte, my soldiers!! You swore oaths to serve my father. Now, upon this day when we'll finally achieve our dreams and totally eradicate Lichen folk, I plead to you all to serve me! Many of us will no doubt die a heroic death. However, if you decide to run instead and die alone in homes under slavery, so be it! But I.... I want our kind to live, as we want, how we want. I don't want our life to be controlled by people who don't even allow us to worship the gods we choose!" she spoke to her soldiers.  She gazed into the horizon and continued, “I have seen a dream. There our kind walked down plains and played free from the Lichen terror. It is up to us today, if that will only remain a mere dream or if we can make it into a reality! We can make a New World for our children and their children to live in as free human beings!! We can make a dream world come true!!!”

Each soldier raised his or her weapons into air and chanted "Glory à rainha!“

"Impressive speech mistress," Arcoul spoke to Miwako.

"Thank you. My father told it to me, during a dream," she replied.

At the other side of the battlefield, Major Melisa put on her helmet, which let her long hair still hang down to her back. It had golden carving with a dragon symbol in front. A common sign of a high level berserker.

Do not think what you have done... Do not show regret...Or remorse...For then, you'll lose all you gambled...

"Alright men! These people here demand that we show them respect! Respect, ha!! These are the very same savages, who we gave every single thing. Before we came, they lived in small huts and worshiped dead gods. Before we came, they lived in starvation and cold. We helped them gain culture, civilization, and modern wonders of the world. If nothing speaks of disrespect, it’s attacking the hand that feeds you. I find it extremely disrespectful, to try and attack our main capitol with our defenseless children and women in it. It’s barbaric and not honorable, which is the exact thing they keep chanting. I think that these people don’t even care about any ‘respect’. They just got a taste of what it feels to be in the control, so they want more and more power. They will not rest, until we're driven off from *our* homes. And that is something; I will NOT allow happening, even if it means I must slay each of these slaves with my own sword!!" Melisa yelled at her soldiers. She gazed up into the sky and then, with a sad tone of voice, she continued, "It is truly a shame that we cannot live in peace. That is what I'd want and I'm sure all of you too would want. But that's just a fairy tale and it will never happen. It is either them or us. And I don't know about you...But I'd rather see them get their day of reckoning."

The soldiers raised their weapons and chanted the name of their superior.

And when I've killed these pitiful ants... I'll become the Queen of the Lichen folk.....  And I shall rule the world…

Chapter 7: The grief of a girl

Camilla cried, as Jenny threw her into a small, moist basement.

"Where is mommy?! You are evil, I want my mother!!" she yelled.

"Your mother can't help you. Or rather, she doesn’t want to help you.... She's the one, who gave you to me," Jenny spoke up.

"N... No... It's a lie.... It’s a lie!!" Camilla screamed.

Jenny walked closer while a cocky smile accompanied her words "Well of course, I had a part in her decision, but I didn't bring the idea of being a ruler into her mind. I just made it stronger. Made her desire the crown more.”

Camilla wiped some of her tears off and hugged her doll closely, as she was shivering from fear.

"Why me? I’ve done nothing to you..." she cried.

Jenny caressed her face "Because you have something I want little girl. Your spilled blood shall be the 4th seal I must break in order for me to truly get what I want."

Suddenly, Camilla spat directly at the face of Jenny.

Long silence filled the room.

Then, Jenny calmly moved her hand to wipe the spit off her face, while still keeping the grin on her face.

"Many thanks. That certainly helps me become even more motivate to carry on with the ritual," she laughed.

"You're an evil woman! Leave me alone!!" Camilla cried.

"Goodness me. I almost forgot. Would you like to see your mother fighting her pitiful war, before you die?" Jenny asked.

Camilla looked to her side.

"Please don't kill me.... Please.... I don’t want to die…" she begged.

A devilish grin appeared on Jenny’s face "Don't try to raise sympathy in me. I've killed toddlers younger than you."

Another long silence passed between the two.

"I.... I want to see mommy one more time......." Camilla finally silently said.

"Good girl. Good girl. You’re starting to understand that you have no way out of this. Follow me, " Jenny spoke.

Jenny brought Camilla into a room, where there was nothing but a single clear crystal ball resting on a small altar made of brimstone.

"Gaze into it... And you'll see your mother as the like she truly is," Jenny spoke, while she moved her hands over the crystal ball.

Chapter 8: Battle to determine the future

The fight had already taken its toll, as the battlefield was beginning to be painted red from the blood of the deceased soldiers. People were screaming when they died or were dying. The magic was in the air and arrows were flying around.

Where fighting was worst, Arcoul was fighting against the armored Lichen soldiers. Each time Arcoul swung his magical blade, a row of Lichen flew into air, devastated by his battle magic. The green flame that surrounded his sword made him stronger than almost anyone in the battlefield… Almost…

Close, but not too close to the battle, was Miwako. There she stood observing against her will. No one had given her a sword, although she had wanted one. She couldn't get into the fight, which she so much desired.

“They think I am just a normal girl… They do not know what sort of a power they’re truly dealing with…” she thought, while grinding her teeth together and her fist shut.

And on the other side was Melisa. Her once purple and black battle armor, now was all red as anyone getting in front of her, friend or foe, met their demise on the Major's blind, berserk rage. Each one who saw her coming towards them tried their best to avoid her. It was like a demon was controlling her power and it wanted more blood. Bodies were flying in horrible shower of blood and gore as she butchered the men and women like pigs.

"Tutto morirà!!!" she yelled as she cut through the soldiers’ ranks.

Arcoul noticed the major approaching himself.

"Deus, guide my blade!!" he yelled, as he ran towards the berserker woman.

Melisa saw the warrior approach him. Both of them swung their swords, as they competed in strength, magic, and favor of the gods. Beads of sweat rolled down Arcoul's forehead as he was beginning to falter to the incredible strength the woman possessed. When it’d come to raw strength, she was much stronger. However, he still had his battle magic left.

Gathering every ounce of his powers, Arcoul quickly raised his right hand and blasted up a bright light, straight into the eyes of Melisa. Melisa groaned and covered her eyes as she was temporarily blinded.

Just as Arcoul was going to perform the finishing blow, a sole enemy soldier slashed his sword into his back, making the armor crack a little.

"No!" Miwako screamed, as she began to run towards the battlefield.

Arcoul turned and swung his sword, decapitating the man in an instant. Just as he turned, Melisa sunk her sword into his stomach.  She grinned and licked her lips as she twisted the sword inside his stomach.

Arcoul groaned in agony but managed to slash with his magical sword, making Melisa fly to her back and away from Arcoul. He groaned and held his bleeding wound. The sword had gone all the way into his guts. He coughed some blood, as he saw Melisa already beginning to stumble back on her feet.

Just then, out of nowhere, Miwako jumped on the back of Melisa.

"Miwako!" Arcoul exclaimed.

Just as Melisa gazed up, Miwako stabbed her into eye with her dagger several times. Melisa screamed in horrible agony and Miwako fell from her back as the woman started to hit her sword into random directions with the huge amounts of blood blinding her healthy eye as well.

"Get away from her Miwako, she's too strong..." Arcoul groaned, as he began to stumble to the aid of her mistress, but he instead fell face first to ground from the intense pain.

Melisa held her bleeding eye, as Miwako stared at her in a shock. The two looked each other long and hard, deep into their very souls.

"Retreat! Retreat!!!" Melisa suddenly began to scream, while holding her eye and beginning to run.

The remains of her soldiers gladly listened, as they were being butchered. The rebels had won the battle but not without a horrible loss.

Chapter 10: After the battle

Miwako gazed around the battlefield. Hundreds were dead, thousands injured, with some in critical condition. Arcoul was lying dead on the grass as well.

"Mistress...The capitol, what will we do now?" one soldier asked her.

Miwako gazed at the direction of the capitol, which guards had abandoned.

"Burn it, crush the ruins, and salt the land. And then bring all the citizens in front of me," she spoke with an emotionless face.

As the scorching flames ate out one of the biggest cities in Lichen Empire, the scared survivors were brought upon Miwako.

"Your kind has abandoned you all. There won't come any hero to save you, there won't come anyone who can stop me from filling my promise... Of butchering each and every single one of your cursed kind..." she mumbled, as she closed upon one little girl.

She then turned towards her soldiers, who were busy drinking the booze and liquor that they had looted from the capitol. They were fighting over the jewelry and possession of these folk. Insolent fools, she thought in her mind.

"Bring me an empty bottle," Miwako commanded.

One guard brought her a small bottle.

"Our kind has a code of honor, so we can't kill women or children. However.... Don’t even think that I can't do something else ..." she spoke up.

Saying this, she suddenly kicked at the leg of the girl, making her scream and fall to her knees. Before she could do anything, Miwako raised the girl’s skirt up and pulled her panties down. The girl tried to struggle, but it was no use. Miwako shoved the entire bottle through the girl’s pussy, who screamed as blood ran down from it.

"Do this to each and every one of the women, regardless of their age. They shall not bear a child ever again to raise an arm against us," Miwako spoke, as she shoved the bottle even further, all the way to the girl’s womb. She then picked up a rock and smashed the bottle inside her.

Everyone looked at Miwako with a horrified expression, even her biggest supporters and those who had vowed to die for her.

"Didn't you hear what I said??! If you don't do it, I'll treat you as outlaws and have you castrated and later decapitated!!! I’ll have you cursed and your families butchered, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR MEN???!!" she yelled while spit shot from her mouth.

Although the men did not want to, they had no choice but to follow her command.

And on that night, Jenny's altar dripped with the blood of Camilla. The only thing louder than her dying scream had been the laughter of Jenny.
