Digimon Adventure Chronicles - After Crisis

 

Author's Note: Hello people this is my first fanfic and I'm going to try my best to give you guys something good to read ^^. I'm really more of an artist than a writer I can draw an imagine stuff but might not be so good at writing: P so if you have any comments/tips as how I can improve this fic please tell me about it ;) This is probably going to be a series, but that'll depend if I have time to continue writing and if there’s actually people interested in reading it: P. Before starting the story I will spend some time explaining the background story prior to the events taking place in the actual story. It may be a little long but it's not nearly as long as if I have to tell the whole thing in the story. There will be sex scenes in the story don't worry, just please bare with me. And also I will use the Japanese evolution levels (Ultimate is the highest stage) and terms. Without further delay let me fill you in on the some of the background details of this story and of the "Crisis".

 

Background information: This story takes place a couple of years Digimon Adventure 02, well after the "glimpse from the future part"; although I will change some of the couples (Sora will not be allowed to end up marrying Yamato!!). Although this story focuses mainly on a new generation of digi-destined, some of the older ones will play a role in the storyline, also the exact year where this story takes place will also be left out as I don't feel like it's that important. Ok more background details before we start with the actual story. After Digimon Adventure 02, digimon has gone public and everyone everywhere knows about them. Like in the ending of 02 Taichi became an ambassador for human/digimon relations but is happily married with Sora. Koushiro has been working with human and digimon in preserving the balance and stability of the digital world. One day while on a solo exploration of the digital world, one of Koushiro's research partners tripped and fell into a secret cave of File Island that has never been discovered. After waking from his fall he explored the cave further and found an altar in the end of the cave. On the altar were ten rings were floating around brimming with energy. Koushiro's partner, who always wanted to step out of his shadow and become the highest authority on digimon technology, saw this as his best chance to make a breakthrough. He kept his findings secret from everyone and came back on his own whenever he had a chance to study the rings. After much analysis and research, he came to understand that these rings holds tremendous raw elemental power which surpasses even the power from the digimentals/crests and holds the secret to transgress humans into digimons and vice versa. Excited about his findings and wanting to take his research further to allow human/digimon transgression; he took the rings out of the altars and secluded into his secret lab. Little did he know that his actions that day would change human/digimon history forever…
The ten rings later known as digi-rings were actually seals than kept an ancient and immensely powerful dark digimon imprisoned. When the digital world was first created it has been invaded by a powerful virus that became the first dark virus digimon. The virus was so powerful that the core program couldn't do anything against it, so it took all his resources and created ten digimon warriors imbued with the ten raw elemental power of the digital world to battle against this threat. Being unable to completely destroy the dark digimon, the ten warriors gave up their lives and with their data formed the digi-rings and sent the dark one into a deep slumber in the core of the digital world. Without the power of the ten digi-rings, the dark digimon Nidhoggmon slowly started to awaken from its slumber... Two years after the digi-rings were removed; Dr. Isshin (Koushiro's partner) created ten new digivices to harness the raw power of the rings.
Just as he was going to find people to test his prototypes, Nidhoggmon, who awakened and was eating away the core of the digital world to regain power, rose out from the center of the digital world and wreaked havoc to it. Nidhoggmon, who feared the powers of the digi-rings, sent dark digimons to the real world and destroyed Dr. Isshin's lab. Isshin lost his life in that incident but had the Digivices hidden before he met his doom. But those of those digivice fell into the hands of the dark digimons while Dr. Isshin was escaping. While the dark digimons were attempting to return to their master, Taichi and Yamato intercepted them with Omegamon and killed them. But during the brutal fight the two prototype digivices fell and were lost in the digital world. Nidhoggmon knowing the digi-rings were lost stirred up a full scale war on both the digital world and the real world. As the war went by the digital world became more and more unstable and was on the brink of destruction. In a final attempt to save the world and the digital world Koushiro and a team of programmer came up with a new Yggdrasil program to restabilize the digital world and destroy Nidhoggmon. But the resistance encountered by the Yggdrasil program was greater than expected. As a result, the digital world was broken and split into 3 realms: Niflheim, Midgard and Valhalla. Nidhoggmon who was weakened by Yggdrasil's vaccine, sought to destroy it but was meet by its guardians the thirteen Royal Knights, and fell unto Niflheim...

Scenery description:
Niflheim: Dark desolated place filled with dead swamp, and aura of death and decay surrounds everything. Home to dark virus and undead digimons, the resting place of Nidhoggmon after his fight with the thirteen Royal Knights. Ordinary digimons has no access to this place.
Midgard: Remnant of the old digital world although the continents have changed it resembles a lot to the old digital world. Home to all kinds of digimons
Valhalla: Hallowed realm where Yggdrasil took root. After the crisis Yggdrasil remained in Valhalla and is still working on stabilizing the digital world. Yggdrasil has three main roots that held the three realm of the digital world together. One of those root reached down into Niflheim and the other one in Midgard. Valhalla is protected by the 13 Royal Knights. Ordinary digimons has no access to this place.

Digi-rings:
Relics of the ancient times, these rings contain powerful raw elemental energy. They look like the data ring that comes out of digimons that are dying from Digimon Frontier. They each represent one of the ten elements: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Ice, Light and Darkness. It is believed that with the data contained in those rings one can uncover the secret of transgressing from human to digimon and vice versa…

D.N.A Digivices:
The prototype digivices created by Dr. Isshin in his quest for fame and unlocking the secret to morphing humans into digimons. Humans who use the digivice would turn into a digimon, and digimon can use the ring’s power to take a human form. But digimon morphed into human loose their special abilities as long as they are in that form. D.N.A stands for Digital Neo-Genesis Arranger.

Chapter 1: And So It Begins...

Two years after the event of the crisis the real world and the digital world are still recuperating from the damage sustained from the war. The fighting has stopped on earth but the remaining army of Nidhoggmon on Midgard still causes trouble every now and then, but are stopped by the different teams of digidestined around the world. Unfortunately peace will never be truly found until the dark lord of Niflheim is destroyed. Koushiro and the original digidestined founded a worldwide institution called the digidestined academy where young ones that have been partnered to a digimon can learn about their role in the safeguard of the digital world. And also serves as a gathering place for knowledgeable digidestined to gather and find a way to enter Nilheim and ultimately destroy Nidhoggmon. But for now our story takes place somewhere else…

Odaiba has sure changed a lot following the event of the crisis, although battle took place pretty much everywhere on the globe, here was the center stage of the war on the real world. After the war Odaiba was left in ruins, but in these short two years the city has been rebuilt with all the latest technology.

Today was just like any other day for Yume, as soon as she woke up, she quickly jumped out of her bed and into the bathroom to tidy up for school. As she got out of the shower, she took time to contemplate her naked body in front of the mirror. Although her breast weren’t especially well endowed it was still a pretty good size for an average 16 year old girl and her slim waist, cute round butt and heart shaped trimmed pubic hair would make any boy go crazy for her. But somehow she rejected every single boy that tried to ask her out so far, the reason being that her only true love has been lost during the war. After looking at herself she took her brush and tidied her long brown with red streaks hair. She looked at her clock and exclaimed:

Yume: “Oh shit!! I’m going to be late for school!!”

And she quickly chose a sleeveless shirt and a pair of pants and ran out of the house. From the look of Yume, your usual nice girl who is always cheerful and kind, you wouldn’t believe the all the drama she had to live through during the crisis war. As a matter of fact she used to be a digidestined, but during the war she had lost many people whom she cared for and also her partner digimon, who died protecting her. She wasn’t the only one who lost a partner digimon though; many other digidestined also lost theirs and then were forced into going back to their normal lives. After running like a mad girl for ten minutes Yume finally gets to her class and was greeted by her classmate and best and childhood friend Mai:

Mai: “Good morning Yume! Late for class again eh? You must really like detentions haha!”
Yume: “Oh shut up Mai; I’m not in the mood for this today.”
Mai: “What’s the matter? Something happened to you?”
Yume: “Um, let’s talk about this after class ok?”

Mai and Yume have known each other since they were in elementary school. She is the energetic and sporty kind. She has a slim and athletic body and a well and developed bust. Both of them were very popular among boys. And so the school day went by as usual, without any troubles.  As usual Mai and Yume meet up at the locker room after school to decide what to do.

Mai: “So Yume you’re going to tell me what has been bothering you now?”
Yume: “You know I thought I got over this problem long ago… But a dreamt about him again last night…”
Mai: “Him? Who him? No… You don’t mean…”
Yume: “Yes him the digidestined whom I had a crush on, and that died protecting me from the dark digimons when my partner Angelwomon died.”
Mai: “You know I really don’t know why you liked him so much… I mean he was always keeping everything to himself and never liked company.”
Yume: “Sigh… No one ever saw how he truly was but I knew. He’s just misunderstood; deep down inside he’s a very sweet and kind boy…”
Mai: “Ok maybe he was misunderstood; maybe he was a wonderful boy… But you can’t dwell on the past! What is gone is gone; those who died two years ago aren’t coming back!”

At that moment both girl went silent, remembering their lost loved ones. Sometime it seems destiny really likes to toy with people’s lives. Two years ago both girls were full of hope and determined to help protect the digital world from threats as digidestined. But sadly they both lost their partners to the war. Although they don’t show it, the wounds left in their hearts from those events still haven’t completely healed. Finally, Yume broke the silence.

Yume: “Let’s talk about something else… How are things with your boyfriend?”
Mai: “Oh things are great; he’s really caring and affectionate. But god, sometime I wish he wouldn’t be such a pervert around his friends and even worse when we’re alone.”
Yume: “Hahaha! Maybe he’s showing his true nature when you guys are alone. But I bet you guys must have great sex.”

At that point Mai blushes and mumbled:

Mai: “Hehehe, well… yeah I guess, I mean I haven’t tried with other guys so wouldn’t know if he’s great.”

And their conversation was then interrupted by a slim, tall, blond dyed spiky haired boy who came running down and slapped Mai on the ass.

“Aah!! Kouji! I'll kill you!” Mai screamed out.

Kouji: “Aaaaw you want to kill your handsome boyfriend? If I die who's going to give you some love tonight eh?”
Mai: “Who said I wanted some love? Just admit it; you’re the one who wants to fuck. What did you came here for anyway?”
Kouji: “Well, I just got a call from the gang earlier. They want to hold a meeting about what we'll do this weekend.”
Yume: “Really? That's great! We haven't met nor did anything together for a while.”

The "gang" Kouji mentioned is a bunch of digidestined who also lost their partners during the war. They met after the war and became friends, now they hang around together, supporting each other trying to get over their grief. And so Yume, Mai and Kouji went out of the school and head out for the park where they usually meet. In the park built in the memories of humans and digimon that lost their lives in the war, two young boys and a young girl were sitting in front of the memorial stone. The two young boy were Hoshi 10 year old and Jonouchi 13 year old, both boy were very young but past experience has made them more mature than even some adults. Hoshi is a really quiet and reserved boy and being shy by nature made it very hard for others to know what he's thinking. Jonouchi is the intellectual type, but not a geek or nerd type, he is outgoing to a certain level, and also Jonouchi is Hoshi's older brother. The young girl is Miko 10 year old, caring and sensitive, she is always trying to open up Hoshi and make him more sociable. After all the time they spent together since they met Miko has developed some deeper feelings for Hoshi, but he hasn't shown any interest yet.

Miko: “When will the others come? Maybe we should just go play somewhere without them, what do you think Hoshi-kun?”
Hoshi: “I don't really care either way.”
Miko: “Geez, why are you always like that? Never showing your feelings, can't you be more like you brother?”
Hoshi: “And why can't you understand once and for all that I am not my brother!”
Jonouchi: “Whoa kids calm down a little, the others should be here any minutes.”

As soon as Jonouchi finished his sentence Yume and her gangs come in.

Yume: “Hey people! Long time no see!”
Jonouchi: “Hey Yume-chan looking good as always.”
Yume: “Oh thanks!” she replied with a smile.
Kouji: “So Jonouchi made any new interesting programs?”
Jonouchi: “Not really I've been really busy with school lately.”
Mai: “So when are the other two love birds going to come? I can't believe they dare to come late when they are the ones who called this meeting.”
Jonouchi: “Let's give them a chance; apparently they discovered something really interesting.”

Moments after they have finished their conversation, from afar we could distinguish a young couple heading their way. The boy is Gintama a 17 year with and athletic build and shining silver hair. The girl is Yuki 16 year old traditional japanese girl, shy, reserved, and delicate as a flower. She is really fond of wearing yukatas which makes Gintama go crazy over her. Those two also meet and fell in love after the war. Yuki loved the feeling of safety when she's in Gintama's arm; he loved her and really wants to take their relationship to a more intimate level. But being conservative, Yuki refuse to sleep with him unless they get married. She might be shy and delicate but when it comes to her ideals she bravely stands up for them.

Gintama: “Hey guys sorry for being late, I made another attempt to get some from Yuki and it didn't turn out so well.”
Yuki blushed and punched Gin on the arm and then said: “How can you say something like that like it was nothing!”
Yume: “Leave the fighting for when you two are alone there are kids here. Anyway what's that thing you guys discovered?”
Gintama: “Well about that, we were on a late night stroll in semi-deserted field the other day. As usual I tried my luck with Yuki, like usual she refused and push me away. After she pushed me back, I kind of tripped on a rock that was behind me and fell into a hole that was covered with branches and roots. After I got up I lit my lighter and looked around, to my surprise that place I fell into was a secret lab. From the looks of it, no one has been there since the war ended, and there are even hints that a battle took place there. Anyway let's cut to the chase, admist the ruins of the lab I found a notebook and the knowledge contained in there could give us the power to return to the digital world... ”
Jonouchi: “What? Return to the digital world? How can that be possible! In order to access the digital world, we need a partner digimon and a working digivice.”
Mai: “Yeah and our partners and digivices all have been destroyed by Nidhoggmon's virus.”
Gintama: “True, but having a partner is not the only way to access the digital world. Anyway here's the notebook Jonouchi, take it and analyze the content then tell me if I'm dreaming. I'm planning to return to the lab tomorrow night, before anyone else has the chance to find that place.”
Yuki: “Anyway let's drop the subject for now and go have some fun!”
Yume: “Yeah! Let's all go shopping!!”
Mai: “Great idea!!”
Kouji: “Oh no...”
Mai: “You said something sweetie?” she replied with a glare.
Kouji: “Um....... nothing honey. Shopping is fine with me.”

So the bands of ex-digidestined went shopping and have fun together. As the day went by Jonouchi was more and more anxious to know what could be written in the notebook. Night was falling so the gang decides to split and head home.

Gintama: “Well good night folks, if any of you wants to come explore the lab with me tomorow feel free to call me.”

And they each went their seperate way, Gintama was walking Yuki home, Mai and Kouji went together, Jonouchi accompanied Miko home and headed home with his brother. Only Yume went home alone, but she didn't really mind. While strolling on the way home, Kouji decided to ask Mai if she would like to stay at his place tonight.

Mai: “Why are you asking to me stay at your place? Your parent never allows you to bring girls at night. No?” she asked in a suprised tone.
Kouji: “Well my parents are gone for the weekend, so it's ok for you to stay overnight.”
Mai: “You naughty boy, bet you want to have sex all night long.” she replied with a light mocking tone.
Kouji: “No! I'm not such a big horny pervert!” he exclaimed visibly startled by her remark.
Mai: “Wow your so cute when you nervous! Ok you can do anything you want tonight, as long as you don't go too far.”
Kouji: “Thanks...”

He then grabbed and hugged her tightly, then kissed her passionately. Mai suprised by his sudden action made a faint sound of protestation, but quickly gaved in to his kiss. After a while Kouji broke the kiss... and with a grin on his face he said:

Kouji: “Let's go now.”
Mai: “What's the matter? Can't wait anymore?”
Kouji: “Whatever you say baby.”

As soon as they got home and Kouji closed the door behind them, he hugged her from the back and started to nib on her neck and caressed her breast through her shirt. But then Mai turned around and pushed him back.

Mai: “Relax a bit baby, you're going too fast. Let's take a shower first.”
Kouji: “Together right?”
Mai: “If you want to.”

Meanwhile, in another part of Odaiba, Jonouchi was studying the content of the notebook discovered by Gintama, and was more and more intrigued by its content. So much that he was anxious to go explore the labs and see if he could find the products of the research described in the book. But seeing that it really late, he thought he shouldn't disturb the others and went to sleep.

Kouji, Mai and Jonouchi weren’t the only ones who stayed up late; Gintama whose sexual frustration was building up couldn’t fall asleep as he lied on his bed staring at the ceiling. From the outside of the dark cave where the dark emperor digimon reside, the echo of a loud roar could be heard. Chaos Dukemon, who was standing guard outside, understood that his master awakened and went into the cave. In the deepest reach of the cave, a large serpent dragon was lying on the ground, Chaos Dukemon approach and kneeled in from on it.

Chaos Dukemon: “You have finally awakened my lord; we have been waiting for this day for so long.”
Nidhoggmon: “Where are my other generals?”
Chaos Dukemon: “They are fighting those impudent digidestined and collecting data to help you recover your energy my lord.”
Nidhoggmon: “Useless fools! All this time has passed since my fall into this wretched realm. And I only recovered enough power to awaken! Maybe I shouldn't have used so much data to make five pieces of trash into ultimate level digimons.”
Chaos Dukemon: “Please my lord qualm your anger, I'm sure it won't be long before you can recover you strength.”
Nidhoggmon: “You better be right or you'll all pay with your lives. Now leave me and go back to your post!”

Chaos Dukemon got up and left the cave, outside the cave a black humanoid rabbit digimon wearing a sleeveless jacket and gloves was standing there, it was Black Haremon. Chaos Dukemon recognized the cunning digimon and frowned. Black Haremon, who suddenly appeared after the war, was famous for being cunning and ruthless. Which is why Chaos Dukemon doesn't enjoy his company, although he serves the dark lord, he doesn't rely on tricks and traps to lower his enemy's strength, he fully enjoys the challenge that only a fair fight could bring.

Chaos Dukemon: “What business do you have here Black Haremon?”
Black Haremon: “I just heard our lord has awakened, so I came to greet him.”
Chaos Dukemon: “The lord is furious and don't want to see anybody. Now leave!”
Black Haremon: “Acting mighty in front of me just because you're one of the five generals. With my brilliant mind I managed to collect more data than any of you generals, who just know how to fight against digidestineds. By all means I should be above you generals and command your actions.” he said with a mocking tone.
Chaos Dukemon: “Command us? Stop your daydreaming and go back to your hole!” he exclaimed with a furious tone.

Black Haremon seeing that he will never let him through to see Nidhoggmon turned back and left. He thought to himself: “Just wait and see, someday you generals will have to kneel before me!”
