After the battle of the Day Reaper, Humans and Digimon alike were recognizing each other as friends instead of enemies. Yomaki and his government associates realized that digimon were no longer a threat. The digidestined were noted as heroes to both humans and digimon. A year later all around the world, other digidestined rejoiced to see both worlds combining into one.
Unfortunately, the merging of two worlds brought up many puzzling mysteries. For instance, the government had noticed an empty science facility emerge when the two worlds merged. The science facility had many physical properties.
There was a front entrance to the lab. In the back of the facility was two parallel canyons that ran right into the side of the base. To the left area of the entrance area there was a very hot desert. Across from the dessert area was a waste facility that dumped waste into the ground below.
The government had sent several digimon and humans in there alike. To utter shock no one came back out. The government was terrified of what happened to these groups. The digidestined were called for again, but to no luck, they refused. The digidestined were tired of battling evil and had given up heroism forever.
For a long period of time the facility was left alone. Nearly after a 2-year anniversary of the defeat of the Day Reaper, several sightings of “data” UFOs have been seen around the world. The saucers look like a giant purple horseshoe. People and Digimon call them drop ships , but no alien life forms were ever sighted from these carriers.
At the third year, the saucers were gathered around the same science facility so dormant to social society. The government and the new digimon government, (a democracy created by digimon to suit the human counterpart) located several satellites to analyze the eerie aliens landing.
In four months, the satellites had discovered alien creatures coming out of the horseshoe like drop ships. The digimon, to eager to talk to the aliens made and organized group of digimon diplomats to learn more about them.. The diplomatic group of digimon was composed of Deputymon, Flymon, and Koromon.
To both governments, the confrontation of the diplomatic team and the aliens was horrid. They watched the digi diplomats run in utter terror as the aliens opened fired on the entire team. The team had broken up, but to no avail, the aliens had decimated the entire team.
As the governments watched in horror, the aliens went into the science facility and the saucers disappeared off the satellite view. Another month went by, the aliens grew by the hundreds, and the governments organized an elite army composed of digimon and humans alike.
The army was called DHAF (Digimon/Human Alternative Force), to signify that digimon and humans were working together to stop the aliens now code-named the Covenant by the government.
Each human marine was equipped with a modified Garrison 4 Tactical Assault Rifle, or GTAR. Silk Steel Armor was equipped on both human and digimon at the chest, the back, shins, head, arms, and tails.
Even though the digidestined said they were not going to fight they mysteriously joined the ranks of the elite army. Ken is a general, working with a squad called “Regal Blue”. This squad was to infiltrate the canyon side of the facility and to help search for their comrades. Codey was unknowingly in Ken’s militia, he disguised himself to look older than his 15-year old body so he could fight.
Takato was a soldier in a squad called “Blue”. Blue is supposed to engage the front of the facility, to set up communications and medical aid.
All the first year digimon were organized into the same squad, Augumon was their leader. The squad was “Champions”; which they were to assist any group that needed help, or that needed heavy firepower.
The 2nd year digimon are engineers, they assist the groups with vehicles and certain weapons.
The 3rd year digimon served as elite soldiers and were assigned into certain squads.
Now the human females are automatically assigned to be pilots, (don’t ask) which they were to fly the “Pelican” drop-ships into the needed Landing Zones were the marines were needed. Pelicans are fusion powered drop-ships with an open area under the wings to were the marines get in and get out.
Matt, Tai, Joe, Rio, and Davis are in the same quad called “Armada”. The team was to go into the water waste part of the facility.
Finally, Henry and T.K. were in the last squad, code-named “Sierra”. Their job was to infiltrate the desert part of the facility and to destroy alien defenders.
Before they left the safety of the governments, the government reported these were “digimon aliens”, aliens with a digital pattern. Another month goes by, the squads are ready to face the enemy, and restore the base to its original dormant state.
The squads went into their assigned pelicans and were ready for takeoff. Tai and Matt looked around to see if any marine was looking inside the pelican their already in. As some marines went by, Matt and Tai embraced in an affectionate kiss, which they held for quite some time. Then they broke, looking at each other. Then they settled their eyes on the Marines boarding.
As the Pelicans flew off , from Washington D.C., to the facility witch was located in what was New Mexico. So our lemons begin next time, were our digidestined enter the facility…
