====================

"Just leave me alone, will you?"

Through a darkened back alley, a young blonde girl in a black skirt strode quickly toward her home. That creep must have followed her. She knew she shouldn't have gone to that damned "study group."

"C'mon, shugar!" responded an older boy, staggering along after the girl. He took another swig from a sake bottle and grinned evilly at her. "Don'chu wanna come back ta my plashe? It'll be...fun."

"Back off, you jerk!

She glanced up and down the path for any sign of other people, but it seemed nobody else was out that late. The night was silent, save for the barking of a dog in the distance.

"Come on, shugar!" the drunken boy ordered, grabbing Alice's wrist.

"Shinji, let go of me! I'm not interested!"

"I thhink you are. You wanna be my little bithchh."

Alice struggled to free herself from his grip, but he clung tight to her arm. He grabbed at her waistline and started pulling at the cloth. She slapped the boy hard, which only served to strengthen his determination. He grabbed her by the collar and ripped her top down the middle, revealing her young white breasts.

"Stop it, you bastard! Help me!!!" she cried out into the unhearing night. Alice broke free and tried to run away, holding her torn shirt tightly closed. Shinji easily caught up to her, shoving her to the ground. He held her down with his boot while he dropped his pants and boxers. Alice recoiled in fear.

"Please don't! You're drunk! Help me!!!"

"Shaddap, bitch! I kin tell you wannit!" He dropped down and yanked her skirt down her legs. Alice struggled to get free, but he had her pinned.

"Help me! Somebody! God, help me!" Alice desperately yelled.

Shinji jammed his brutal club into her young body, ripping through her virginity with violent force.

"God, please stop! You bastard...," she cried in pain, as he pummeled her body with his rod.

"Shaddap, you little bitch!" he ordered, punching the girl in the throat. Alice gagged and struggled to breathe, blinking her eyes in pain as her vision went pink and cloudy. She shut her teary eyes, begging the world to erase this moment from her life. As Shinji continued on with his violent intrusions, Alice thought she heard a low menacing growl close by.

Suddenly, her attacker cried out in pain and was pulled violently downward. She heard a loud thud and looked through the pink haze to see the boy crumpled against the far wall, trying to clutch his leg. Alice recoiled in shock as she saw a very large dog of unrecognizable species growling at her rapist. An oversized spiked collar framed its snarling head, with spots of blood decorating its jaws.

"If you weren't a child I'd snap your neck. Get out of here before I disregard my conscience."

The dog was talking. Alice blinked and watched the two as the boy slunk away, carefully at first, then at a run, limping on his torn and bleeding leg. The pink clouds dissipated, leaving the girl's vision clear. She scrambled backward, trying to maximize the space between her and the monster that just saved her. The dog turned to look at the frightened girl.

"Are you injured?" the dog asked.

"I...I'll be okay, but I feel like I'm going to throw up."

"Please, get dressed," the dog said, turning away from the exposed girl. Alice pulled up her skirt and panties, not taking her eyes off the beast for a second. She slowly stood, holding her torn shirt tightly closed.

"Y...You saved me."

The dog turned back toward the young girl.

"Are you a real dog, or a spirit?"

"I am a Digimon, sent by my sovereign lord to aid in the battle against the Chaos."

"A Digimon...Like those in Shinjuku."

"Yes. My name is Dobermon."

"Dobermon. My name is Alice."

"It is an honor to meet you, Alice."

"Thank you for saving me," she said, becoming more comfortable with her monstrous rescuer. Dobermon nodded.

"Come. I will walk you home."

Dobermon turned to leave, and Alice went willingly to his side. Together they set off down the road. She watched the dog's muscles rippling below his short black fur as he walked silently along. He was so familiar, yet alien at the same time. Sort of creepy, but still reassuring. She realized that she felt completely safe in his presence.

Across the street, a shadow slithered off a rooftop.

==========

After a few minutes, the girl and her companion arrived at a small quiet house. Dobermon sniffed the air and looked back over his shoulder. Alice watched him nervously, but he quickly returned his attention to the girl.

"Are your parents home, Alice?"

"No...," she began reluctantly. "They died a few years ago in a plane crash... I live with my grandfather, but he is currently away."

"Oh... My condolences for your loss. With your permission, I'll stay the night with you. You should not be alone now."

"Don't you have to go to Shinjuku?"

"I will leave in the morning. I need to make sure you are safe, for now."

"Thank you Dobermon. Come inside."

Alice walked up to the doorway and fished around in her skirt pocket for a key. Finding the metal piece, she unlocked the door and made her way inside. Dobermon cautiously followed, taking in the various aromas of the McCoy household. She invited him to rest in the living room as she retreated down the hallway to change clothes. Dobermon took the opportunity to examine the quaint room, focusing his attention on a corner cabinet featuring various photographs of a younger Alice and some people who must be her parents and grandfather. They looked happy.

A faint scent wafted into the house. Or was it his imagination? Dobermon stared out the window, focusing his senses, but whatever it might have been wasn't there.

"Would you like something to drink?"

Dobermon looked at the girl emerging from the hall, now in a tight black t-shirt and pants.

"Perhaps some water, if it isn't too much trouble."

"No trouble," she replied, making her way toward the kitchen cupboard. She opened the door, then paused. "Hmm. I don't imagine you can use a cup..."

"A bowl will suffice."

"Okay," she responded, smiling slightly. Alice filled a large bowl and brought it into the living room, looking around awkwardly.

"You can set it on the floor," Dobermon said, with what was apparently a dog grin. She placed it down by the coffee table and sat on the couch.

"Many thanks, dear Alice," he said and started lapping at the water with his long tongue.

Alice watched the dog-beast with interest. She would have never imagined the night turning out like this, for sure.

==========

Alice rolled over onto her back, unknowingly pulling at the sheets.

"Dobermon...," she whispered, her dreams escaping into the real world for a brief moment. As she slept, a large figure stalked silently toward her bed and slipped up under her sheets. It gently touched her bare leg, getting no reaction from the dormant girl. Slowly it slithered up the interior of her leg towards her short, black nightie. The figure carefully entered the cloth of her nightgown, brushing against her recently penetrated body. It poked at her, causing the girl to stir...

A ferocious barking suddenly woke the girl and Dobermon crashed through her bedroom door, sending splinters of wood into every direction. The beast leapt up at the startled girl's bed and bit down on a mysterious lump in her sheets. Dobermon slammed the quivering mass against the wall, and a strange-looking, winged creature fastened to a long cord shot out of the tangled bedsheets. The Digimon leapt at the creature and bit down sharply on its small head. It seemed to instantly melt into a strange red goop before evaporating.

Dobermon looked at the frightened Alice, panting from the short battle.

"It knows where I am. You aren't safe here anymore. Damn, I'm sorry to involve you, but we need to leave. Now."

"What? Who knows..."

"The Chaos! That was a scout. It had been following me all evening. Now the Chaos knows I'm here, and won't stop until it kills me. And probably you."

==========

Moonlight shone down on a hidden lake in the Japanese countryside. The tree-lined waters sparkled happily with the tranquil lunar glow. A few nocturnal creatures went about their nightly activities of gathering food, defending their homes, and mating with each other. Suddenly, another large animal burst out of the trees, carrying another animal on its back. Their routines broken, the night creatures scampered away into the forest to hide.

Dobermon came to a halt in a small clearing by the water's edge. His rider, now in a short black dress, yawned deeply.

"We shall stop here for the remainder of the night. Rest now, dear Alice. We should arrive in West Shinjuku tomorrow afternoon."

"Are you sure it is safe to stop?" the girl inquired with a worried look.

"I do not believe the Chaos was able to follow us, but I will be on full alert. I will let no harm come to you. You need not worry."

"Okay...," the weary girl responded, climbing off her companion's back. She lay down by the grass under a tall tree. "Thank you...for protecting me. You've saved me twice so far."

"You will not be harmed so long as I draw breath, Alice. I promise you that."

"Thank you," Alice smiled, closing her heavy eyes to sleep. "I promise...I'll repay you...someday...," she whispered, yawning.

Dobermon fell silent and gazed out over the sparkling water as his new friend drifted to sleep.

==========

Sunlight peeked through the tall trees, gently caressing Alice's sleeping form. The girl slowly awoke from its touch and yawned, blinking in the new morning light. She glanced around the clearing and noticed Dobermon sleeping several meters away. Alice watched him breathe and kick slightly at the air. She realized that he must be dreaming and took care not to awaken him as she slipped down to the water's edge.

Gentle waves lapped at Alice's feet as she gazed out over the water. The girl looked back to her sleeping guardian and decided that she could take a bath in the cool waters before Dobermon awoke to continue their journey. Alice unfastened her clothes and layed them out under a nearby tree. She let her silky blonde hair down and tossed it back with her hands. With a glance back to the Digimon, the naked girl stepped out toward the water and allowed the cold waves to run over her feet. Alice wiggled her toes, then waded out into the cool waters.

Back on land, Dobermon sniffed and kicked in his slumber. He took a deep whiff of the morning air and quickly opened his eyes. That smell!

"Alice!" Dobermon called out just before being tackled in the side. His body slid along the ground a short distance before the dog sprang up to face his attacker.

"Vile Chaos! I'll send you back to hell!"

The dog leapt at the muscular green figure, snarling and snapping at the enemy. Alice, emerging from a dive, was startled by the sudden commotion on the shore.

"Dobermon! No!" she cried out, watching her protector get pummeled by the evil creature. "Damn, what can I do?"

She studied the bulky green villain as Dobermon sunk his teeth into its leg. Protruding from the thing's back was a strange red cord of some sort, leading off into the trees. Wondering where it led, Alice swam to the beach and snuck around the perimeter of the clearing, cringing in horror as the attacker slashed into Dobermon's shoulder. The dog whimpered in pain and was slammed down into the ground with the monster's solid fist. Fighting back tears, Alice grabbed a nearby rock and bashed it repeatedly into the red cord.

The monster instantly turned away from its wounded victim and sped toward Alice. It leaped into the air, raising its massive fist to strike the girl, then evaporated into a red goop as Alice brought the jagged rock down onto the wire one last time, severing its link to the Chaos. Alice froze in shock for a moment, then ran panting toward her fallen friend.

"Dobermon!" the naked girl cried. "Are you all right?"

She wrapped her arms around his collared neck and held him.

"I...will be fine, Alice. It's just a...ugh...minor wound," he said, flinching. He licked the girl's face with a dog's affection. "This time, you saved me."

"I...I was so worried about you," Alice said, drying her eyes. "I couldn't bear it if I lost you."

Dobermon looked down for a moment, then back up at the girl.

"Everything is fine now, dear Alice. Digimon heal quickly. I should be back at full strength within an hour."

"Oh, Dobermon...," she sighed, hugging the dog. "I don't want you to be hurt. I want you to be happy."

"With you by my side, I will always be happy."

Dobermon licked her face once again, and Alice smiled. A sudden flustered look then came over the Digimon's face.

"Er...Maybe...you should get dressed," he stuttered, looking away.

Alice gasped at the realization that she was still naked from her interrupted swim.

"Oh, I'm sorry," she blushed, covering herself with her hands. She gazed at Dobermon for a minute, then at his healing shoulder, then uncovered herself and pet the dog's head, puzzling him.

"Oh, Dobermon... I want you to feel better... I can distract you from your pain."

He looked at her in confusion. Hesitating for only a moment, Alice stood in front of the monstrous dog, then confidently turned around and dropped to her hands and knees, spreading her legs apart. Dobermon stared in shock at this most unexpected action.

"Come on, Dobermon."

"A-Alice...," the dog whispered. He tried not to be persuaded to take her, but his steadily growing meat made up his mind.

"Come on...I want it."

"Alice..."

Dobermon approached the girl, inhaling the subtle sexual pheromones her body was releasing. Nervously, he shook his spiked collar up off of his head. He ran his tongue along her back as he cautiously climbed over her body, causing her to giggle. He chuckled at this, and aligned himself with her sweet portal.

"Are you sure you want this, my angel?" he asked, seeking absolute confirmation.

"More than anything, my protector," she responded, granting him the assurance he sought.

Dobermon slowly pushed his way into Alice, the loving girl gasping at this muchly desired pressure. Her warm body split around him as he buried his thick bone in her garden. Clamping tightly around his massive rod, their bodies fastened together perfectly like a two-piece jigsaw puzzle. She moaned softly as Dobermon began rocking his hips against her soft body, swaying her on her hands and knees like wind through a tall tree. Each thrust sent a surge of excitement through her, erasing all her recent worries and fears.

She relished the feel of his chest expanding and contracting against her back as the dog panted heavily above her. His movements gradually accelerated, amplifying her ecstasy to unimaginable levels. She tried to brace herself, but her body kept rocking under Dobermon's savage thrusting. She clutched tightly to his love saber as it started throbbing wildly, making her cry out in pure joy. She felt a strong jet of warm liquid burst from his nozzle as his thrusting lost its rhythm and a feral howl emanated from the dog's throat. His flow soon trickled to a halt and he withdrew himself, allowing the girl to collapse wearily to the ground. He lay snug against her side and watched her recover from the experience.

Alice lay next to her canine lover, both panting heavily. She couldn't believe what she had just done. The girl rolled onto her back, her eyes meeting Dobermon's and her hand stroking his muzzle. Looking to his shoulder, she was surprised to see the wound mostly sealed. Digimon really do heal fast.

Dobermon leaned over the girl, licking the sweat off her gentle breasts. His tongue ran all over the surface of her body, tracing her curves and bends with delicate precision. The roaming tongue soon found its way down to her entrance, cleaning off a bit of his data that covered her. The muscle pushed inside, probing for some of her juice to clean and causing her body to tense. He carefully lapped at her, stroking her clitoris and making the girl squirm in delight. His hot breath permeated her body, until she eventually arched her back and cried out in ecstasy.

"Ah...Ah...Dobermon!" she yelled as her body contracted around his tongue, trying to extend her orgasm to its maximum. "Ah...uh...oh God..."

The dog withdrew from her delicious body and lay his head down on her stomach, looking up at her still gasping from his oral exploration.

"Dobermon... Good dog...," she breathed.

"Should we continue our journey?" he asked, flexing his shoulder.

"What?" she asked, surprised by the sudden topic change. "Not yet. Not after that. Roll onto your back."

The dog obeyed Alice's command.

Alice gasped as she saw Dobermon's massive erection for the first time. That had been inside of her?!? She touched it lightly with her fingertips, making the dog tense with excitement. Alice smiled at Dobermon and, placing her hands down on his chest, straddled his large body. She peeked between her legs for his giant bone and carefully pushed against his chest, forcing her soft pussy down around it. Dobermon and Alice both whimpered as she lowered herself down onto the large canine dick. More and more of it disappeared between her legs as Alice continued her descent, until at last she could take no more. They lay fastened there together for a moment, the young girl gripping tightly on his warm staff.

"Oh, Alice..."

The young girl purred and slowly began to rise up off of him, then slid down once more. Over and over she rose and fell on Dobermon, slowly and carefully at first, but before long with wild fervor, moaning and crying out his name. The dog panted and closed his eyes as Alice's assault on his dick continued.

By the Sovereign, he never imagined a human girl would be like this!

He wished more than anything that he could stay there forever with Alice, but he knew it could not be...

Alice's body squeezed tighter to the dog as she tilted her head back and let out an ecstatic cry. Her fluids trickled down his dick as it began pulsing wildly, launching buckets of seed into the girl's trembling body. The dog howled his loudest at the incredible intensity of this brilliant orgasm, easily his best, and he knew, his last. The girl flopped down onto his chest as he slowly softened within her.

Dobermon tried to speak, but there were no words for this moment. They lay together for what seemed like hours before the dog indicated that they should be moving on. Reluctantly, Alice pulled herself off of Dobermon, dripping an inseparable mix of their love juices onto his stomach. He rolled over and watched the girl dress for the last stretch of their journey.

==========

Alice and Dobermon stared out over the quiet city with both awe and outrage at the glowing red mass that had formed a bubble around the downtown area. A low growl emitted from Dobermon's throat.

"That...is the Chaos, the D-Reaper," he narrated. "It means to delete this world and all life within it. But it will fail. I have been sent to deliver the means of its destruction, the power of biomergence, to the children and Digimon fighting to protect us."

"And then we can go home...," Alice said, watching Dobermon, who made no reply. Alice looked back to the D-Reaper mass. "You aren't coming back, are you..."

"Alice..."

"There must be some other way!"

"There is no other way."

"Why didn't you tell me?" the girl asked, angrily.

"I...had never suspected that a human girl could mean so much to me. It wasn't important that I tell you at first, but as the bond of our friendship grew, I knew I should. Yet I could not bear to reveal how quickly we would be separated. I...was afraid. I am sorry, dear Alice."

Alice sighed and rubbed his back.

"I hate this, Dobermon. How can I lose you already? It's not fair!" she complained, filled both with anger and despair. She quietly collected her emotions. "But...I know what you have to do. Let's find those children."

Dobermon shook his head.

"You should stay here, away from the Chaos mass."

"What? No way in hell. I'm staying with you, 'til the end. I won't lose you any sooner than I have to. That's final."

Dobermon stared into the girl's beautiful determined eyes. It was dangerous, but he wasn't going to argue with her.

"Come along," he said, reassured by her continued presence.

==========

"Run Alice!" Dobermon called as the D-Reaper's bubble agents fired volleys of energy, just barely missing him. There were just too many of them! How did the damned things accumulate so quickly? Just then, Alice tripped and fell to the ground, and Dobermon had no choice but to come to a stop. Could this be...the end?

"Fox Tail Inferno!" a voice yelled as the sound of the reaper's pursuing agents died out.

"Good going!"

Those voices...could they be? Dobermon turned toward the sound of the approaching children...and Digimon.

"Hey, are you okay?" a blue haired boy asked upon seeing Alice lying on the ground.

"Who are you?" asked another. "Is that you, Jeri?"

Alice slowly stood and brushed herself off, bringing a disappointed look to the boy.

"Ah... It's not."

"Yeah, no kidding."

Alice noticed the group that had gathered around her, and became slightly depressed. Dobermon knew why.

"You're the tamers," she said, quietly. "We've been searching for you."

Dobermon studied the children over. A female and two males, each unmistakably accompanied by a digimon. Dobermon walked over to Alice's side.

"Are these the children I seek?" he asked.

"I think so. I wish they weren't."

"Your partner looks kinda tense there," noted the blue-haired boy, nervously.

"Dobermon's just on his guard," Alice explained, petting his head. "He's been hunted mercilessly ever since he arrived in the real world. It wants to stop him...from his quest."

"Okay, so what's his quest?" the tamer girl asked, irritably.

"To deliver...a message," Dobermon explained.

"A message? From who?"

Before he could reply, the stench of chaos filled the air and a pair of long arms, glowing red with heat, sliced through the walkway where they stood. The group quickly ran to escape as the bridge began to fall.

Once clear of the collapsing walkway, the three tamers slashed some cards through their digivices.

"Matrix Digivolution: Activate!"

Alice and Dobermon watched in amazement as the three digimon evolved right in front of them. There was no doubting now that these were the ones who will slay the reaper.

The Rapidmon and the Kyubimon easily fought more of the bubble shooters, while the large red one took on the huge agent that had destroyed the bridge. Despite his best efforts, the battle was not progressing in his favor.

"That thing's too strong! We gotta biomerge now!"

"We can't! This isn't the digital world. Our partners are data, but we're not! There's no way we can biomerge here."

"This is a way," Alice spoke up, sadly. "That's why I'm here. That's why I brought him."

The tamer children looked confused.

"Dobermon?" the brown-haired one asked. "What do you mean?"

"This is my quest," Dobermon answered. "I was sent here by the Digimon Sovereign to help you."

"But how?"

Dobermon turned toward his companion, who stared at the ground.

"Thank you, Alice. But you know what I must do."

"I-I know."

"I'll never forget what you've done...for all of us!"

With a heavy heart, Dobermon grunted and leapt upward into the sky as his beloved friend fought back the tears. Blinking away a tear himself, Dobermon focused on what he needed to do.

"The Digimon Sovereign are fighting the enemy in the digital world, but the enemy's most evolved part has emerged to wage war here, in your world. Only you, the Tamers, can stop it, by fighting as one with your Digimon. To aid you, I bring a gift from the Digimon Sovereign."

As Dobermon rose upward into the sky, his body began to glow as his proteins converted into energy.

"Remember, the fate of the world lies in your hands!"

Dobermon split into beams of energy and swirled around the area above the battle.

"Dobermon!" Alice cried out at his disappearing form.

"What's happening?"

"I can't be sure, but I...I think he's giving us the power to biomerge!"

"Then let's do it, before it's too late!"

"Dobermon's right! We're the only ones who have any chance of saving this world!"

Alice slunk away from the tamers who had taken Dobermon away. Now, thanks to him, they had a chance to save the whole world, but all the girl could care about was her departed protector.

==========

Alice stood alone on a side street. She could hear the battle raging down the block, but none of it mattered. He was gone, and now she was alone. She closed her eyes, images of her companion flooding her mind. If only...

She did not notice at first as particles of digital information began to swarm around her body, but her eyes shot open when she felt a warm presence building next to her.

"Dobermon! You came back!"

The faint image of her protector gently kissed her cheek.

"Dobermon... I don't want you to die..."

"While my body may pass on, my love for you will never be extinguished. Be strong, my angel."

"Dobermon..."

"The last light of my essence is fading. My data lies deep within you, dear Alice. When you are ready, the seed of our love will take root and grow strong, if you choose to nurture it. Alice...I must go..."

"No! Dobermon! I love you!"

"Be brave...sweet angel... Goodbye Alice...my love..."

Alice dropped to her knees, watching through teary eyes as the last trace of her lover evaporated. She reached out for his warmth one last time, but he was no longer there.

==========

Alice walked quietly through the streets of the once bustling city, the empty town around her only hinting at the life it had once sheltered. With Dobermon's sacrifice, the Digimon could now restore the world to prosperity. Happiness would eventually return. She paused at a street corner, resting her hands on her stomach.

"Dobermon... I won't forget what you've done for us all. And for me. Thank you."

With a silent prayer for the spirit of her protector, she began the long
journey home.
