Alan held a rose out to Jamie. “Might I have the honor of being your boyfriend?” he asked, his whiskers twitching hopefully.
Jamie smiled sadly. “Sorry, you’re not my type. I prefer foxes.”
She walked away. Alan’s face fell.
Mark patted his friend on the back. “It’s not just you. I hear she’s turned down everyone who asked.”
“Did I really hear that right? She prefers foxes?”
“Her parents were foxes.”
“You’re kidding me. She’s as much a Beast Cat as either of us. How could her parents be foxes?”
“Don’t look at me. She’s not adopted, I know that much. Dad says it made the local news when she was born. Nobody could figure it out.”
“Weird.”
After taking a warm shower, Jamie sat on the sofa and began to watch porn DVD. Suddenly her stomach was making noises. She sighed and clicked the PAUSE button. She entered the kitchen and turned on the fan. She satisfied her hunger with a sandwich and milk. His voice was so warm and comforting even the stingiest of strangers immediately warmed up to him. He came towards her, smiled and offered his huge paw. He did not wear any clothes, wearing only purple sleeves which had a yin-yang symbol on each, and had three fingers on each paw. Standing up slowly, she extended her cat-paw and shrunk the claws at the same time; he seized her paw and shook it heartily. Her paw was only half the size of his paw. She could not turn away from the eyes that held him. This is my Prince Charming!
“My name is Jamie and I am not afraid,” she looked at the six feet tall yellow fox, he has a patch of white fur on his chest and four-packs belly.
“I am Renamon, I found you near the forest while I was picking fruits.” He could not explain it, he just knew she was the one. He could not take his eyes off of her, even as she caught him staring at her. Even after meeting only once, they felt a kinship.
“Thanks.” She felt the glance of the stranger running over her from head to toe. She was not surprised, which man was not lustful?
She smiled sweetly at him, her eyes sparkling like stars flaunted on the night sky. “You groin bulged,” she remarked.
He felt so embarrassed at that moment. “I...I...did not do...bad things...while you’re sleeping...” he faltered out a few words.
“Anyway, what is this place?” she asked with a smile.
“This is the Digital World and I am a Digital Monster. Don’t be afraid, I am a good Monster. You are not a Digital Monster?”
She sighed, a bad guy would also say the same thing.
She shook her head with a soft chuckle. She saw the purple swirling symbols on his muscular thighs. He also had long, white, three-toed legs and a long, white-tipped tail. If he was a bad guy, she would be dead by now. “I came from Earth, the Beast tribe. What is Digital World?”
“Well, everything is Digital. Luckily you are not a human because we dislike them, but you better change your name to Jamiemon to avoid future troubles – just add ‘mon’ at the back of your name will do. You came from Earth yet you are not a human?”
“There are different kind of tribes and species. My tribe is Beast and Spices is Cat, so I am a Beast Cat. Our lifetime is very short only, my parents died at the age of 30. Now I am 15, so...15 more years left. I am about four feet tall.” Why am I telling him about this?
“I am 20 – I guess so, lifetime? Don’t know.”
“So, how can I go home? I came here through wormhole.”
“This is bad because there is no wormhole here. I am sorry. In fact, there is no way for an outsider to enter this world.”
“...I am stuck here...forever?”
“Well, maybe, please don’t cry, you can stay here...”

He gulped when he was walking behind her. She wiggled her hips seductively as she walked. She was a yellowish cat but her long and skinny tail was white color. Instantly there flamed up in his body the all compelling desire. He did his best to rein in his desire.
“Renamon!”
As though waking from a dream, he asked, “Yes?”

“Keep your password and account number, you need them for each transaction. Now...transferring money to your account...done. Do you need a job to earn extra money? I can find a suitable job for your age. However I am not forcing you, you can stay at home too.”
“Yes, please. Thanks for your kindness, I don’t want to stay at home and waste your money. I...I...can help you to pay the bills...and clean the house...” she hinted broadly that she would like to stay – forever – if possible.
He understood but did not wish to force her. “Come, let’s go shopping,” he said, a trifle too cheerily. He wanted to show off his new girlfriend.
Standing outside the gate, he taught her how to lock the doors.
“Here is the scanner, you scan your paw here to lock and unlock the doors. All windows are locked automatically once the door is locked, and vice versa.”
Pretty soon it darkened up and begun to thunder and lighten.
“Sorry, I brings bad luck to you,” she apologized.
“Not your fault.” Was it destiny that brought people together, or was it accident? He believed it was destiny. The rain forced them to stay at home.
She felt her heartbeat quicken as she entered the house again. What would happen next? She knew the answer, but how about him? What if he rejected her? What if he was a wolf in sheep’s clothing? She forced herself to keep calm.
“Are you hungry?”
She sat on the sofa. “No, not yet,” she answered. This was her first time sitting inside a guy’s house – alone, moreover it was a guy from different world. She glanced shyly at him out of the corners of her eyes.
He sat on her right side. “Want to watch TV?” he asked, it was a very awkward moment. He also did not know what to say to her.
She recalled what her friends told her, if you met a non-initiative guy, you must be initiative.
“Renamon...”
He turned around and met with her face, she was a pretty girl with large liquid eyes. She did not say anything, she moved her cat-head towards him slowly; she wanted to conquer him. “I am Jamiemon, good to meet you. Mine is Renamon, we are newly-married.”

At that moment, a female Digimon entered the room and told them that the class was going to start.
When Jamiemon left the classroom, it was nearly one PM. Renamon was waiting at the guest room. “How’s the class?”

“Do you want to have lunch now? Normally I only take breakfast and dinner but I can accompany you.
After lunch, they went shopping. He bought a new watch, smartphone and notebook for her.

She gave him an affectionate hug. “Thank you,” she whispered. She suddenly did not wish to go back to her own world anymore.

“He is my husband, Renamon. We want to rent DVD.”

“This is a small town,” he remarked with a smile. “And the population is low.”
“Small?” she exclaimed devoutly. “It is much bigger than my hometown.”
Finally she could see their house.
“What happened to our house? It looked...as if...bigger...”
“Indeed, this morning I asked my friends to enlarge it.”
“Amazing! You can enlarge a house in less than a day!”
“Everything is 0 and 1 only, by changing either one will affect the size of the house.”
He scanned his paw and they stepped into their house. Ten minutes later, a small lorry parked at outside their house.
“Ah, just in time. Honey, you can visit the lake while waiting for them to finish their works.”
He was right, some couples were having picnic here. The sun shone brilliantly and the water in the lake glittered invitingly. Here, the air was soft and pleasant like the scent of fresh-cut grass. A brisk walk in cool weather was invigorating. The grass was as neat as astro-turf with corners more square than a book. She felt a sensation of happiness. After a while, she turned around but did not find the small lorry, so she decided to go home.
“Honey, you are not a Digital Monsters, you must be tired by now, why not take a quick nap now?” there was an appeal in his voice, soft and gentle.

“Come,” he said with a laugh. “See our new home!”

“But what if I go back to my hometown suddenly?”

He was happy to hear that but she was confused.

“Fifteen.”

Outside the clinic.

“But how?”
“Or may be it is my fault.”

“Oh yes, time to change diaper,” he said as he took out a clean diaper from the bag. He unpinned her diaper and removed it, then he put on the new diaper and pinned it tight. She was extremely grateful to him. “Today lunch is fried rice, approved by doctor already.”
“I wish the doctor would allow me to watch porn DVD.”
