It Has Begun (Also presenting a short piece entitled ‘Our Scars Shall Fade’)

Part 3 of the “Circinate of Shadows”

TIMELINE: Rika has been attacked and is (believed to be) gravely injured. A powerful force has confronted the heroes, past and present. (This episode ought to be good! Also, I’m told that my lemons need more plot, so, I hope this is an improvement ^_^)

“You heartless, gutless bastard!” Alex cried, cradling Rika’s limp body. The form cackled evilly. Alex stood up slowly, clutching a katana (Ooh, big bloody smear on the floor!)

“You dare defy me? I will crush you…” The voice broke off as Renamon and Alendramon entered the cave. “Them?  This wasn’t part of the deal, Malcolm. Fine, you win for now. I’ll be seeing you again, count on it. I’ll just take a new playmate for milord.” The voice cackled again as it faded away and the cave gradually became brighter.

“What happened?” Renamon asked, seeing Rika. Alex simply kept sobbing. Davis sighed in relief, looked around.

“Well, that guy was a jerk, but it’s over, right Kari? Kari? KARI?” Davis cried, not seeing her anywhere. Alex looked up and realised what had happened.

“The son-of-a-bitch will pay. He mowed down Rika and kidnapped Kari. I’m going to kill him!” Alex cried, tears running down his face. Davis scowled.

“Not if I find him first!” He and Renamon said together. Rika grunted slightly. Alex looked down to see Rika’s bleary eyes looking at him.

“…” Alex was at a loss of words, simply embracing her.

                “Alex…” Rika wheezed.

“What is it, Rika?” Alex asked. Rika was too weak to say anything more, she smiled and passed out. Alex lifted Rika up, with some effort. “We head back to the bunker, NOW.”

“What for?” Davis asked, confused. Alex gave him an icy look.

“To plan.” The group marched off to the bunker and caught Dracomon in the middle of a science project.

“What happened?” He asked, seeing Rika and no Kari. Alex laid Rika out on a mattress. Alex sat down on a stool and started thinking.

“We need to be able to find Kari, or Malcolm. How, though?” Alex muttered absent-mindedly. Alendramon rested a hand on Alex’s shoulder.

“I can find her. I can sense out emotions or thoughts. It won’t be easy with all of you with me though.” Alendramon said.

“Alright then. Who are we bringing?” Alex said, scanning the room.

“You, me, Davis and Veemon should be satisfactory.” Alendramon said, looking at the two female digimon left. “Sorry, ladies. The excessive emotions would cloud my abilities.”

“Yes, but how will we keep up with you?” Davis said. “I’ve seen how fast you can run!” Dracomon began to dig through some crates. Rika groaned as she floated back to consciousness.

“Where am I?” She wheezed. Alex turned.

“Welcome back. How are you feeling?”

“Like I was hit by a bus, doused in kerosene and lit on fire,” Rika said, smirking as she sat up.

“Ooh, I wouldn’t do that!” Alex said. Rika growled in pain. “I warned you. Now stay put.”

“What makes you think I’m going to listen to you? I don’t listen to my own mother.”

“Yes, well, don’t mind my saying, but your mother is an airhead.”

                “Point taken and noted.”

“Good, now sleep” Alex turned to the rest of the group. “I guess we’re off. Just know this, we’re coming back with Kari AND Malcolm’s head, or not at all!” Gatomon smiled.

“Veemon?” She asked. Demiveemon bounced off Davis’ head.

“Yeah?” He said, lisping. (It may be weird, but I like it)

“Go kick some ass!” Gatomon said. Demiveemon nodded.

“I plan to!” He said, climbing back up Davis’ leg. The rescue party climbed out of the bunker and looked around. “So, where to from here?” Alendramon stood there, eyes shut, concentrating.

“That way!” He said, pointing to the north. Davis sauntered over to Alendramon.

“So, uh, can you read Kari’s mind?” Davis asked, looking hopeful.

                “Why?” He asked suspiciously.

“I just want to know what she thinks of me,” Davis said, turning pink. Alendramon sighed.

“Sorry pal, I can’t do that. I can only remember what they think while I’m reading. I won’t remember a thing after that. Besides, did you really want to find out that way?” Alendramon gave him an I-know-what-the-answer-is-I-just-want-to-hear-it kind of look. Davis nodded sheepishly. “Well, what are we waiting for?”

“DAAYVISTH! They’re getting away!” Demiveemon cried. Davis stomped his heel in frustration and took off. “WHEE! Nice work, Davisth!” The group stopped periodically so that Alendramon could check his bearings. They stopped outside of a cave at the base of a fortress. “Uh, I don’t like it here Davisth, it feelsth…cold” Demiveemon said, cringing. Alendramon shuddered.

“You are wise beyond your years, little dragon. There is a cruel and evil presence here.” He said. Alex ran in without question. “Alex! What are doing?”

“Getting revenge!” Alex cried. He stopped at a tablet set into the centre of the room. It was a poem, some sort of clue. Alex began to read softly to himself.

“They who challenge the darkness faith,

Thou must summon the guiding wraith.”  Alex said, reading the tablet. Under the inscription there were two circles, each with five indentations. A small cluster of crystals jutted out of the top of the tablet.

“Uh, Davisth? What’s a wraith?” Veemon asked, digivolving to be combat-ready.

“It’s like a phantasm” Davis said, distracted. “So we just put these crystals in and<BLAM>” Davis, attempting to insert one of the crystals, was thrown across the room. “Okay, that was a bad idea.” Some more writing carved itself onto the tablet.

“Each circle is made of elements five,

So correct your pattern to stay alive. I’m getting tired of these cheesy rhymes. So, it’s a puzzle, albeit a dangerous one.” Alendramon looked at the patterns then picked up the rest of the crystals.

“I get it. They’re the circles of light and dark. The elements have to fit in their appropriate slots. Like so…” Alendramon picked up one shard, made of a pure diamond, and slid it into the slot at the top of the first circle. He put a black obsidian crystal in the same place as the diamond on the other circle. “I’ve got it!” Alex said. Alendramon finished the puzzle quickly. Alex stood there, dumbfounded. “I’ve seen this pattern before. I just had hunch this was the same one” he explained.

“Congratulations, challengers of the dark, you’ve completed you’re first task. I shall now lead you toward that which you seek.” A voice said and a robed figure with a staff materialised over the tablet, which disappeared. Alex simply nodded, as did Alendramon. Veemon and Davis looked like they were going to have a heart attack.

“That’s a wraith?! Why didn’t you tell me it was a ghost?” Veemon screeched. Davis stared.

“I…I did! Didn’t I?” Davis stammered. The spirit sighed.

“Are the two foolish ones required? You may leave them here if not. Thou may name me as Raysiel” The spirit said. “Follow me.” Raysiel floated into the maze. The makeshift rescue party ran after him.

MEANWHILE

The gaunt man (Malcolm) was sitting at a dining table somewhere in the fortress, enjoying a glass of wine. The chief of security walked up to him.

“Sir? The children are trying to infiltrate the fortress through the Catacombs.” Malcolm choked.

“WHAT? I thought we sealed that tunnel with some sort of password encryption!” Malcolm cried. The chief nodded.

“We did. They must have decrypted it somehow. I’ll get my men on it immediately, sir” The burly man left soon.

I should think so. Soon, foolish children, very soon. Even the prophecy can’t save you now. Malcolm began the malicious laugh that all bad guys are famous for.

“Here is where I am to leave you. I shall wait to guide you back through the catacombs. Good luck, warriors.” Raysiel said, hovering just beyond the exit. “I may grant thou one request before you leave.”

“Where may we find the imprisoned one?” Davis asked immediately. Raysiel nodded.

“She is on this floor in the prison complex, cell Beta-41. Now hurry warriors, and retrieve your friend.” Alex nodded and tore off, with Davis just behind him. Yet no one noticed Veemon grabbed by hands in the shadows.

Phase one: Success. Proceed with phase two.”

MEANWHILE:
“You keep an eye on the boys. I’ll go after Veemon” An obscure but familiar voice whispered.

Alex stopped just before a hallway intersection.

“Why’d you stop?” Davis asked, moving ahead. Alex grabbed him by his shoulders. An Andromon guard walked by.

“That’s why. Alendramon, I need you to knock out the guard and steal his suit. He should fit alright.” Alex said, pointing at the black coveralls. Alendramon moved silently, toward the guard, which had no chance, and disabled him. He squeezed into the uniform, tailoring it slightly for his tail. ”Right, now grab his rifle and pretend to march us to the prison.” Alex put his hands behind his back, as if bound, nodding to Davis to do the same.

“Yes, well what about Veemon?” Davis said. He looked around and upon losing sight of the little dragon, panicked. “Where’d he go?”  Alex assured him that he’d just run ahead of them. “Let’s go!” Davis growled, and began the march down the hall. Some of the guards gave them contemptuous looks, causing Alex to shiver.

“Hey you, there!” A guard called. It was a Guardromon. The back of Alex’s neck prickled.

“Yes?” Alendramon replied in velvety voice. The Guardomon looked him over.

“I don’t think I’ve seen you around before? Were you transferred from the M.I. division?” he asked, his voice reeking of suspicion. Alendramon nodded.

“Yep. I got higher orders, and so, I got promoted. Anyway, wher’s Beta block?” Alendramon asked. The guard still looked uneasy.

down one level and to the left. But, I thought only machine-based Digimon got to be Patrols?” He inquired. Alendramon smiled knowingly.

“I’m special, because of my treatment of prisoners.” Alendramon belted Alex in the back of the head. “Don’t look at me like that!” Alex glared contemptuously but said nothing.

“Oh well. Carry on before those two escape.” He said, shrugging and marching down the hall. Davis let out a sigh of relief.

“Damn, I thought we were cooked.” He said, dabbing his forehead with his sleeve.

“What was that for? I got a welt the size of an egg on my head because of you!” Alex growled.

“Just adding realism.” Alendramon said airily. Alex sneered but kept quiet. They soon reached a door with a red warning emblazoned on it.

“WARNING! Only level III access beyond this point. Not a problem, at least with this fun little toy.” Alex held up his handheld. Alex waved it over the key-card scanner. The door popped open without hesitation.

“Cool” Davis said, grabbing the device and wandering into the complex. The same Guardromon they met earlier grabbed Alex.

“Gotcha squirt.” He said. “This is Beta-4. Phase two: Success. Proceed to the final phase”

Davis wandered down the halls, the hacking device in his hand. He counted down the cell numbers. “Hey Alex, where’d you…” Davis turned and looked around. “Alex? Oh well. 38, 39, 40 and 41” Davis counted out the doors as he looked for Kari. He found her cell easily and hacked the lock just as easily. Kari was chained to the wall, unconscious. Davis looked around for a switch. A button presented itself in a console nearby. He pressed it and Kari fell from the wall. Davis heaved Kari over one shoulder. Jesus! For a girl thinner than cheap soup, she’s heavy. Davis walked out of the cell and back down the hall, hacked his way through the door, and noticed the others missing. “Guys?” Suddenly an alarm blared throughout the complex

                “All units to prison cell

“Alex was captured.” A voice called. Alendramon rematerialised. Davis gave him a quizzical look.

“Why didn’t you stop them?” Davis groaned under Kari’s weight. Alendramon shook his head.

“Would’ve attracted too much attention. Better to retrieve him now.”

MEANWHILE: In another cell.

“Ugh! My head hurts like I headbutted concrete. Where am I, anyway?” Veemon said. The chloroform used in his capture had worn off. “You’d think they’d come up with a pleasant knock-out drug.”

“Ah, you’re awake, good. I want to ask you some questions” A familiar voice called. Veemon groaned.

“I know that voice. It haunts my dreams to this day. Gatomon.” Veemon said, laughing slightly. The feline digimon stepped out of the (conveniently placed, I might add!) shadows, nodding. Veemon tried to move, noticing that he was strapped to the wall. “Uh, mind getting me down from here, first?”

“Not just yet. Answer my questions first. I’d ask you not to lie to me, but, somehow, I know you won’t anyway.” Gatomon said, sitting down on the steel floor. “First question. How well does Davis trust you? This is for my sake only.” Veemon was puzzled. What does she care about that? But, damn, it had to be Gatomon. I might as well tell her, Davis would understand. “He trusts me with anything and everything.”

“Absolutely anything?” Gatomon smirked. Veemon’s eyes narrowed.

                “Yeah.  Why?”

“Next question. Does Davis actually like Kari? I mean really like her?” Gatomon asked, eyes narrowing. Veemon squirmed at his bonds again, looking uneasy.

“You could say that.” Veemon said. Gatomon stood up and stared him in the face.

“I know how to get a straight answer out of you.” Gatomon said, smiling evilly. Great. Veemon thought to himself. I’m going to be tortured now. Gatomon’s never been so ruthless before. Veemon closed his eyes, preparing for imminent pain. The pain never came. Gatomon leaned up and kissed him gently. Veemon’s eyes shot open immediately. “Call that an early Christmas present. Now will you tell me what I want to hear?” Veemon nodded.

“Yeah. So Davis is hopelessly hung up on Kari.” Veemon said, smiling stupidly. Gatomon nodded. “So, uh, will you let me down now?”

“I suppose. I’ll be more fun with you down here.” Gatomon said, slashing at Veemon’s shackles. Veemon flopped down onto the floor.

Urgh. That could’ve been more graceful. Well, thanks for getting me down.” Veemon said, smiling slightly.  “Now I’ve got a question. What are you doing here? I thought we left you back at the bunker.” Gatomon still wore that same evil grin.

“If I was still back there, would that be any fun? Hmm?” Gatomon said, with an I-already-know-the-answer look. Veemon smiled again.

“I suppose you’re right.” Veemon said. “You do know I love you, right?” Gatomon smiled and nodded.

“I’m counting on it.” She said, kissing him again. Veemon’s will was sapping right out of him. He was becoming aroused from the attention he was getting. Gatomon soon felt something warm and smooth against her stomach. Gatomon looked down and saw Veemon’s digi-hood pressing against her belly. Veemon turned bright red.

“I, uh…” Veemon stuttered. Gatomon licked his face playfully.

“It’s okay.” She said, removing her battle-gloves. Veemon stared. She didn’t do that for just anyone, not Kari, and especially not for him. Not usually. A pink scar was emblazoned on her left paw. Veemon stared, not being able to help himself.

“A souvenir from your hellish past?” Veemon asked. Gatomon nodded, tears welling in her eyes.

“I still feel it. As I fall asleep, I hear that voice and memories of the pain resurface. It’s not fair.” She said, crying silently.

“I won’t let you suffer that again. You’ve taken more than any digimon should have had to, and I don’t want you to have to feel that kind of hopelessness.” Veemon said, wrapping his strong, lean arms around Gatomon’s shoulders. Gatomon turned and stared at him.

“You mean that?” Gatomon said, eyes shining.

“With every ounce of my being. And yet, I feel you can understand that, despite what you’ve been through.” Veemon said, almost at tears himself.  Gatomon kissed him, with less playfulness and more passion. Veemon sighed through the kiss, embracing her gently.

“Oh Veemon, thank you.” Gatomon sighed. Veemon ran his thin fingers through Gatomon’s fur, enjoying the scent, tracing other scars along her back. Gatomon nuzzled his neck, breathing slowly. “I’ve waited so long for this. Real love, to really have someone care that much about me. I’m so sick of memories of being a tool.” Veemon started crying.

“I’ll never abuse you like that,” Veemon said, sighing. If this was earth, he wondered how much better heaven could be. Not much was all he thought of. Gatomon started to massage Veemon’s hard-on. Veemon moaned softly, these new feelings rushing through his scaly body. “You don’t have to do this, Gatomon.”

“Oh but I do. I want this. I want you, Veemon. You’re the only one who cares for me like you do.” Gatomon said, tears welling up in her eyes again.

“What about Patamon?” Veemon asked. Gatomon snorted.

“Him? He’s nice all right, but not enough common sense to fill an eggcup. Besides, I wanted you.” Gatomon said, still stroking Veemon’s member, kissing him gently. Veemon’s breath became slower, more winded, as he got his first (and best) hand-job.

“Gatomon, I’m going to…AH GOD!” Veemon cried as he shot his load all over Gatomon’s stomach. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. I mean…” Gatomon pressed a paw against his lips.

“It’s okay. It’s warm, like a bath.” She said, starting to lick herself clean. Veemon took a little initiative and began to finger Gatomon slowly. “Oh, you’re a bright boy, Veemon. And forward, too.” She moaned softly. Veemon was boned again almost instantly. Gatomon saw the throbbing member, turned around, and began to suck on it. “You’re a big boy, aren’t you Veemon? I’d say roughly 5 inches.”

“Five and a half.” Veemon moaned as wave after wave of pleasure washed over him. Every pleasant feeling he had ever experienced was belittled by what he felt now. He began to lick Gatomon’s now easily exposed slit. She purred as he did that, sending more feeling to him. He slid his long dragon tongue in and around, tasting Gatomon’s love juices.

“Oh Veemon, I…OH YESSS! VEEMON!” Gatomon moaned as she came all over his face. Veemon lapped up the juices eagerly. A minute later, he shot his second round into Gatomon’s mouth, which she drank down readily. Veemon had a lot of cum, as was natural for his species, and, being a fire type creature, his member began to gradually get warmer. Gatomon took the hard-on out of her mouth and began to mount Veemon. “You want it, don’t you?” She said teasingly.

“Only if you do.” Veemon replied with all seriousness. “This will hurt at first.”

“So what?” Gatomon said as she impaled herself slowly on Veemon’s rod. She groaned through gritted teeth. “Let’s keep going.”

“Let’s,” Veemon replied. Gatomon began a steady rhythm, pumping down then up, slowly, then ever faster. Veemon’s member was heating up gradually. Soon it reached a comfortable temperature as Veemon moaned his loudest. “OH GOD! GATOMON!” He cried as he shot his last load into Gatomon, which sent her over.

“VEEMON!” She literally screamed as she came, mixing their love fluids. Gatomon fell off onto Veemon’s chest. Veemon spotted a rag left with some janitorial supplies in the corner. He cleaned himself and Gatomon of before lying back down. “I never want to leave you, my love. Veemon.” Gatomon said as she fell asleep.

“I know.” Veemon said, stroking his love gently.

MEANWHILE: Back at the fortress.

Malcolm looked up from his laptop. He knew what his

“Sir, the children have escaped. Even the imprisoned ones.” David reported. Malcolm snarled.

“You’d better retrieve them then, shouldn’t you? You are Chief of Security, not incompetence. At least, that was what I was lead to believe.” He growled angrily

“Yes, Lord Malcolm. I will have them retrieved. They’re still somewhere in the fortress.”

“That’s not enough! I want them put out of the picture permanently! That was the point of kidnapping one of them in the first place!”

“Yes sir. You wish is my command.”

“Indeed. Foolish children. You may have gotten this far, but I won’t be toyed with any longer!” Malcolm said, crushing the wineglass in his hand. A voice hissed in his ear.

“Your progressss is mossst disssapointing Malcolm. We don’t want to have to directly intervene.

“Of course. I’m working on it. You just keep up your end of the bargain” He growled, irate. He would not get screwed over three times in one day.

Yesss, if we gain the digital world, we will insssure your domination of the Human World.”

“So, It has begun.” Malcolm said, assuming the worst. With demons, you always assumed the worst.

What happened to our intrepid heroes? What has happened to the others as well? Well, you’ll just have to wait for the next instalment!

Pretty cool, huh? But no cliff-hanger this time unfortunately. I couldn’t think of a good one. Anyway I hope you like reading these as much as I love writing them. I hope the plot is a little better than the last two, by the way. Drop some suggestions or kudos at mailto:AndrewSimms2003@hotmail.com. Until next time!

Ciao,

P.S. And as to the infamous Patamon dilemma, he’s a female flyin’ pot roast. ‘Nuff said?
