This is alternant universe, most of the tamers got their digimon one year after the D-Reaper incident, having lost them to the fact that they too would’ve been deleted, every one is now three years older, and considering that most were 13 except Ryo who was 14 at the time. Henry's turn to play (Wishing this had happened)
When Takato woke up, he didn't know where he was, he looked around the room that he was in. Not that it helped much; it was too dark to see. Just then he noticed that he had no clothes on also that he was tied up, "Hello? Can anyone tell me where my clothes are?" Takato called into the darkness. Half expecting someone to tell him where they where, then again expecting no answer at all, he yelled, "COME ON ITS FREAK'N FREEZING IN HERE!"
Then someone answered him, "You don't have to yell, we're just right here." said a familiar voice that Takato knew.
“R…RI…RIKA?!” Takato stammered as he was shocked as-well surprised about who was keeping him captive. “What are you doing here? And where are we?” Just then someone slapped him across the face.
“Now is that any way you should treat a friend Takato?” another female voice said, Takato knew this voice as well.
“What’s going on Jeri? Why am I tied up? And….” Takato could only say as Jeri slapped him again, only a little harder. She slapped him hard enough so that Takato blacked out for a few seconds before he woke up again.

When he woke up, he seen Jeri’s eyes in front of his own. Takato jumped back and yelled “ Don’t slap me again!!!!”
Jeri just looked at him like he was some kind of crazy nut she never seen in her life, then giggled at him before saying “ Your funny honey, it’s the only way I could wake you.”
Takato, being dumbfounded to see that he was in his room, and that he has been talking and yelling in his sleep, just mumbled to himself “What a weird dream” As Jeri walked out of the room still giggling at him.(By the way, Takato works for the government trying to stop any Digimon from coming to the real world, and that he married Jeri when he was fourteen, this is so, because he got her pregnant, they now have twin boys Lee and Chan, another on the way)
“Better
hurry up and get ready, your going to be late for work!” Jeri Matsuda said,
while she fed the twins. “Oh, and Yamaki called to say that you have to train
some new guys from the
“WHAT?!?” Takato yelled, as he came running into the room, still fixing his hair and apparently brushing his teeth. “How come you didn’t tell me after you woke me up?!” Takato said with a look of annoyance on his face.
“Well he just called after I woke you up!” Jeri countered, *Gee I wonder why he always has his temper when things don’t go as planned* Jeri thought. “And anyway, Yamaki wanted to wish you a happy seventeenth birthday!” Jeri said with a tone that his mother gave him, when she was mad.
“Oh… uh…right I better hurry-up and get ready, I guess I should get out of this silly outfit, and get into something more formal for this occasion.” Takato said as he went back to his room to change his clothes. “Oh and sorry, not myself lately,” Takato said as turned to face her again, “It’s just that so many digimon are coming to the real world that I haven’t had the time to relax.”
“Oh… well with this kid on the way, I guess I have to catch up on work when we have this baby.” Jeri said as she looked down at her stomach, which was now getting a little big now. “Who knows, once we have this baby we could maybe go back to the digital world…”
Before she could finish Takato cut her by saying “That won’t be possible with the conditions that Digital world is in when we left remember?” he said while his face paled. (Now as you all remember the episodes when they went into the digital world right? Anyway the events that happened still affect the tamers to this day)
With these words Jeri went white, this was because she forgot that her digimon, Leomon, was deleted there, everyone got their digimon but her “oh…Takato…why did you have to bring that up!” as she began to sob a bit.
“Daddy…why mommy cryin?” two year old Chan asked Takato.
“Mommy’s crying because she lost a good friend when she was younger Chan.” Takato said while trying to hold back his own tears.

Henry’s Home

At the same time at Henry’s house Rika was just waking up. “Oh man I fell like a train hit me” Rika said rubbing her head, then she noticed Henry sleeping next to her “WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON!?!?!!!”
Henry who was still asleep jumped up, as Rika jumped out of bed. “What? What’s going on?” Henry said as he looked around to see what was going on, (Henry’s skill to observe what other people’s feelings was always a problem, he didn’t notice that Rika mad at him) “What are you doing here?” Henry asked when he finally noticed Rika.
“WHAT DO MEAN ’WHAT AM I DOING HERE’ YOU BROUGHT ME HERE!” Rika yelled at a clueless Henry, Henry on the other hand was trying to figure out what she was doing there in his house, just then he remembered that they just came out of a restaurant, totally plastered. “Hello, earth to Henry!” Rika said as she waved her hand in front of his face.
Something clicked in Henry’s mind and Henry finally came to his senses and yelled “SHOOT!!! WE DIDN’T DO WHAT I THINK WE DID, DID WE?!?” Henry already knowing what the answer is to that question.
“NO EINSTIEN!” Rika said finally getting through to his mind, Rika thought *man I should have split while I had the time!* “ I don’t even remember why I came here in the first place! So why did we come here exactly?” Rika asked Henry, obviously annoyed with the way that the situation looked.
“I really don’t know, just that we were drinking at a restaurant.” Henry said as they both were thinking back.

The Night Before

Henry was about to go out the door when the phone rang. *Must be Takato* Henry thought as he picked it up.
“Hello? Oh hi dad. Oh ok, anything else? Yes, dad, ok, sure, don’t worry I wont drink at all, fine, bye now” Henry said to his dad on the phone, “I wonder what Rika would do if I order any wine or anything, ah best not think about it.” Henry muttered to himself as Rika came walking into the room in a red dress that her mother made, she knew that she was only going to wear for this night.
“Well you ready?” Rika asked Henry, as she was about to walk out when Henry muttered something, “What’s that?” Rika asked as Henry just blushed and said, “Nothing lets just go, before they cancel our reservations.”
“Henry, quit lying to me! Now tell me the truth!” Rika said giving him that dead serious look. Henry just blushed even more said “Well ever since we got into the government with all of these dinner meetings, Well it seems like we’re dating.” he finally said looking away from Rika. This time it was Rika’s turn to blush, “Well let’s just get going.” Henry said, “Man what a night this would be if I don’t embarrass myself any further” muttering to himself as he was walking out the door.

The Restaurant

“Table for two?” the Waiter asked Rika and Henry. “Reservations for Rika Nonaka, and Henry Wong?” asked Henry. “Let me check… Ah yes right this way.” the Waiter said closing the reservations book and leading them to their table. “Thanks, here’s a tip.” Henry said giving the Waiter 500 yin. “Thank you sir, here is your menus,” the Waiter said giving the menus to them, “Anything else?”
“No that would be all.” Rika said, then she had that look as if she was thinking, “Well, Henry you up for a drink?” Henry, who was looking at the menu, was taken aback to what she just said, replied by saying “W-Wh-What did you just say?” “Would…You…Like…To…Have…A…Drink?” Rika replied to him as if he was a two year old. “I don’t know, I mean would if I do something stupid?” Henry said blushing. “Well then I guess that would be my choice now wouldn’t it?” Rika said Smirking at him, “and besides, this is a, uh… now what was this word again, oh yeah a ‘Date’, remember what you said earlier?”
Henry, who was in shock did not reply, Rika took advantage of this silence and ordered wine for them. The waiter came back with wine and two glasses. “Thank you.” Rika said to the Waiter, the Waiter just smiled and said “Don’t drink too much, and for you young man…” the Waiter said looking at Henry then serving him his glassful bent lower and whispered “Good luck tonight my man…” then said in a cheerful tone “now are we ready to order?” he said looking at the pair.
Henry still in shock came back to his senses and said “Oh.. Uh I would like to get Cold Asparagus Salad and Chow Mien.” apparently still recovering from the small shock that would haunt him the next morning. “And you Ms.Nonaka” the Waiter asked Rika. “I’ll have the same, but not with all the spices.” Rika said giving him the menus. “Fine choice, would you like any desserts after dinner?” the Waiter asked the pair. “No thanks, I’m fine.” Henry said in a flat tone, still trying to get over what just happened. “Same here.” Rika said almost laughing at Henry and his state of embarrassment.
After the Waiter left Rika finally said “you know what you said about ‘meetings’? Well this isn’t a meeting, and yes your parents know as well.” Rika said looking at Henry and giggling at his expression, for Henry looked as if he was going to be sick. “What do mean ‘my parents know?’” Henry asked looking at Rika, who was still giggling. “you know what I mean!! HAHAHAHAHA” Rika said now laughing at him, for Henry’s face was now pale as a squid. “Then how come I wasn’t informed about this?!” Henry replied still in shock and mind racing at top speed. “Well HAHA it wouldn’t be as date like, and besides HAHAHA you wouldn’t have came even if you wanted HAHAHAHAHA to so we had to find an excuse to make you come…HAHAHAHAHAHAH” with these words Henry couldn’t take it anymore and left to go to the bathroom.*MAN I’ll be lucky if I get out of here without doing anything stupid* Henry thought to himself as he looked in the mirror, noticing that his face was very pale.
When he came out he noticed that his glass of wine was still there, *great, here I thought that this was a dream, oh well, might as well face the music* he thought about what was in front of him, a glass of wine that he would have to drink in a few seconds. “Well, let’s drink to the night.” Henry said as he lifted up his glass, as Rika did the same. *here’s the moment of truth* he nervously thought as he took drink. Then his face just turned beet red as he found out to his surprise and embarrassment that this wasn’t wine but cranberry juice, *MAN HERE I THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS WINE!!!HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID TO THINK THIS!!!* he thought furiously to himself. “What’s the matter, you think that I would actually order wine?” Rika said smirking at him, while he turned even more red. He looked up as Rika leaned in to tell him something, but he misread this as if she was going to kiss him, so eventually like most feel like doing when they get their first kiss… he fainted.
“Oh for heavens sake Henry!” Rika said looking at him pitifully, “waiter can you help me with this young man!”
“Certainly Ms. Nonaka.” the Waiter said simply. They tried everything to wake him, but failed, so they called Henry’s father and told him what had happened, the Father just laughed and said that he did that when he thought he was going to get his first kiss and said he was on his way to pick him up.

Mr. Wong’s Car

Henry was still out when they got halfway to his house. “So how was the date Rika?” Mr. Wong asked sarcastically. “well for starters I kind of started it by asking him if he was up for a drink, I think he misunderstood and thought I was referring to an alcoholic drink, then I told him that this wasn’t a meeting but a date. I think this is why he went to the bathroom, after he came back we had a drink of our juice, I guess he did think that it was an alcoholic drink because he turned red in embarrassment, I was going to ask him a question,” Rika then sighed as she said the rest, “then he fainted, I think he thought that I was going to kiss him.” Rika then started to laugh at the thought.
“HAHAHA, well I did the same thing when I first met his mom, she was going to tell me that she liked me, but I seen that she was going to kiss me, so I fainted.” Mr. Wong said and started to laugh, “Here I thought he was up for a little kissing, I guess family traits get passed down.” then they both started to laugh.

Henry’s Room

When they reached his house they carried him in and set him on his bed. “can I stay the night here? I’m sure he wouldn’t mind.” Rika said looking at Henry. “And besides I wonder how he would react when he sees me here.” then she started to laugh.
“Ok just don’t call and say that he is in the hospital from a heart attack.” Mr. Wong said and laughed as he left the house, leaving Rika there laughing at what he had just said.

And then Back to the present

“Well that’s all I could remember is that I fainted” Henry said looking at Rika who just grinned at him. “What? You mean something else happened?” Henry asked looking at Rika who was starting to laugh at him.
“Did your dad tell you about his first date Henry?” Rika said still giggling at him for some apparent reason. “Well he did tell me that it was the first time he went on a date with my mom, but nothing in particular, Why?” Henry asked after saying what his dad told him. “Well your dad told me that he fainted on his first date as well, I think that the trait was pasted to you. HAHAHAHA.” Rika said with a laugh at a stunned Henry.

Of course this would’ve happened if it wasn’t from one of their dreams. In the next story, it will explain what really happens. So, for now it’s a wrap and expect more twists and turns.
