As Blackwargreymon entered his tent, he stopped and looked over his shoulder. The ghostly
sillhouettes of the armies tents could still be seen in the moonlight. He could just make out
a dark blue figure walking away.

Blackwargreymon eneterd his tent and began to remove his armour
for the second time that night.
He wondered about what had happened before. He lay down on his camp bed, but he couldn't go to
sleep. He thought again about the previous events.

He and Flamedramon had been much closer before. They had both stripped off in a moment of lust

flap of her tent. Looking out,
she saw, in the distance, some sort of light, then a loud bang echoed about. Lilymon saw with
horror that a large, long object was flyig slowly in the air towards the camp. The humans had
set off a Long Range Missile.

"Flower Cannon" Lillymon shouted into the night as she attacked
the missile. She didn't destroy
it, but she blew it off course. The missile landed at the edge of the camp. The explosion shook
the ground and every single digimon emerged at once from their tents. "We're under attack. Defend
yourselves at once" Shouted Blackwargreymon. The digimon turned and ran towards the humans to
fight.

Another loud blast meant that the Humans had rocket launchers. Flamedramon stopped running and
saw an explosion, and a Monochromon was deleted. Flamedramon looked to the side to see another
blast and this time, it was a Meramon. Just then, Flamedramon was hit. He saw blood red, heard
a huge explosion, and knew nothing more.

When he woke up again, he was aching all over. Lillymon then bent over him. "Wakey wakey sleepy
head" she said with a smile. "Whats going on?" Flamedramon asked, as he rubbed his head with a
hand. "You were hit, and brought here. You were lucky that you weren't killed" Flamedramon then
realised that he was in his tent, and that he was covered in bandages, plus every inich of him
ached.

'' I've got to go. I'm needed else where" sai Lillymon. "Oh yeah,
Blackwargreymon kept coming in
a lot to check up on you." "D..did he?" asked Flamedramon. "He did. You know, I'm kind of glad
that he's made a friend in you. Also, this came for you. It's from Gennai." she said as she
handed Flamedramon a crisp white envelope. She then left.

For a moment, Flamedramon just sat there, then he opened his letter.

Blackwargreymon was just emerging from his tent when Lillymon walked up. "Excuse me sir, but
Flamedramon has woken up." "Thank you Lillymon. It's good to see
a nurse who follows instructions
like you do." said Blackwargreymon. Lillymon nodded and left. Blackwargreymon then headed off
towards Flamedramons tent. He decided that he would sit down with Flamedramon and talk. The
attack had been stopped with a few hits of Terra Destroyer, and
the help of the other Digimon,
and the humans defeated. But caausalties were not good on either side. For three days the
unit had rested. Another few more days and the unit should be fit enough to continue travelling.

Blackwargreymon entered Flamedramons tent to find it empty. Flamedramons bag and gauntlets were
still there, as well as an open letter. His curiosity getting the
better of him, Blackwargreymon
picked up the letter and read it.

To Flamedramon.
I do not like to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm afraid I must be.
Our spies in the human world have told us that the Digidestined
have refused joining the humans
in controlling the Digital world. I regret to say that Davis, your partner, took drastic
action. He destroyed his digivice to ensure that the government
couldn't control you, and he then
committed suicide to prevent them from using him as bait so that you would do as they ask.
His last words were "I'd rather Flamedramon be in the hands of no-one than in
the hands of you."
Unfortunatly Flamedramon, you are an armour digimon, and to be one, you must have a
partner and that partner must possess a digivice. Since you now have neither, I must ask you
to return to my home so that I can return you to your rookie stage to live in from now on.

At the end of the letter, was two small wet smudges, as though someone had cried on the letter.
Blackwargreymon couldn't believe it. How could this happen? He knew then that he had to find
Flamedramon. He left the tent and went to find Lilymon. He entered the nurses tent and
said "I have to leave on personal bussiness. I'm leaving you in
charge. Understand?" "Y-yes sir"
said Lilymon. As soon as Blackwargreymon left the tent, he took off into the air.

After a while, he noticed something odd up ahead. It appeared to
be a circular hole in the ground
below. He then noticed the land formation around it. It resembled a sun symbol. Blackwargreymon
then realised that it was the same symbol as that on Flamedramons chest gaurd. It was the symbol
of courage.

Blackwargreymon landed on the ground, and found himself at the entrance to a cave, cut low
into the ground. Blackwargreymon had once overheard Leomon talk
about this. Blackwargreymon had
found the cave of courage, the very cave in whichh the digi-egg
of courage had been discovered,
and Flamedramon had been born.

Blackwargreymon entered the cave and heard someone sniffing. He quietly kept going on and
presently came up to the middle of the cave, directly under the circular hole. Sitting in the
moonlight that was streaming in, was Flamedramon. Blackwargreymon walked up behind the young
dragon and placed a hand on his shoulder.

Flamedramon turned his head and said quietly "Why did you come for me?" "I came because I care
for you. I read your letter and thought that you needed someone with you." He sat next to
Flamedramon and wrapped an arm around him, drawing him close. Flamedramon felt a little better
in the warm embrace. "I don't want to be Veemon for the rest of my life. I want to remain the
way that I am. But I have to go back." " You aren't" Flamedramon looked up at Blackwargreymon
with astonishment. "Because you left the unit without permission, you are confined to your tent
for the next three months, or untill the war is over, depending on how I feel." Flamedramon
began to think "You bastard. YOu don't care" when he realised that Blackwargreymon was buying
him time to be himself.

Flamedramon looked into Blackwargreymon eyes and Blackwargreymom
looked back. They drew their faces
close to each other and gently kissed. they both Kissed at the same time and Flamedramons hand
began to wander. As they kissed, Flamedramons hand wandered down
to between Blackwargreymons legs
