Chapter 3: Truly Shocking

Ryo and Cyberdramon traveled threw the Element Portal; they felt several surges go threw them. It wasn’t painful; it just felt weird. They exited into a city. They got up to look all over.
“This is weird.” Ryo said.
They saw the city as a combo of every kind of city.
“That’s putting it lightly,” Cyberdramon said. “Speaking of weird, I do not have the urge to fight.”
“That is weird.” Ryo said.
“I have the explanation,” D-Reaper reported. “I had decrypted a minor file. It is about Cyberdramon.”
“What about me?” Cyberdramon said.
“During the cloning sequence, an unknown DDNA pattern appeared,” D-Reaper said. “It was a Parasite Program that piggybacked on the DDNA of Cyberdramon’s Digiegg.”
“What was the program?” Ryo said.
“…unknown…” D-Reaper said.
“Where did it come from?” Cyberdramon asked.
“…unknown…” D-Reaper said.
“Who made it?” Ryo asked.
“…unknown…” D-Reaper said.
Ryo and Cyberdramon were getting mad.
“Do you know anything?” Cyberdramon almost yelled.
“I know what I am preprogrammed with. All other info is… unknown…”
“Running gag?” Ryo asked Cyberdramon.
“Please define ‘Running Gag’.” D-Reaper said.
They were embarrassed.
“Can you tell us about the city we are in?” Ryo asked.
“There is a Data Port 6 minutes east from you,” D-Reaper said. “It will give info on sev-eral topics: Access Restriction Active.”
The two were confused.
“You have basic access. You will learn little for now.” D-Reaper said.
The two were not in a good mood to hear that.
“Let’s go,” Ryo said. “We need all the info we can get.”
“Attention: Data Update. One Domain cleared.”
The two got the info update. As they want, a Digimon started to watch and follow.

Humans and Crossbreds seemed to use the Data Port. All seemed to be related with Elec-tricity. Ryo and Cyberdramon walked to the Data Port without knowing what to except. The building was big. They walked to the entrance, but Cyberdramon stopped before en-tering.
“What’s wrong?” Ryo asked.
“Are you so I am allowed in?” Cyberdramon asked.
Ryo was surprised.
“This is the first time you said something out of… anything but anger.” Ryo said with a hint of joking.
Cyberdramon sighed.
“Let’s just go in,” Ryo said. “We need the info.”
Cyberdramon nodded slightly. As they entered, the mystery Digimon was still following.

Within the Data Port, the two saw it was like a network of info. As they walked, most of the entrance gates closed. Ryo and Cyberdramon were insulted. Soon, one gate opened. It was to the History Section. They entered and looked at all the files.
“This is too weird.” Ryo said.
“Most of the files are restricting my access.” Cyberdramon said back.
Ryo wasn’t too pleased. Cyberdramon was very pissed. At they walked, a file started to glow. Ryo and Cyberdramon saw it.
“What’s that?” asked Cyberdramon.
Ryo activated it to see.
“History Data File: Dark Spores,” the file said.
Ryo and Cyberdramon didn’t have a clue what that mean.
“In an Earth’s history, there was a destiny making battle between two Digidestined with a single Digimon… and an evil Digimon…” the file said. “The Digimon was Millennium-mon. The Digimon were Wormmon and Cyberdramon. The humans were Ken Ichijouji and Ryo Akiyama,”
‘That’s my name,’ Ryo thought. ‘Who is this Ken Ichijouji?’
The defeat of Millenniummon is to this day unclear. The rumor says Cyberdramon funded with Millenniummon and self-destructed.”
“That makes sense.” Cyberdramon said.
“The defeated Millenniummon had one other surprise,” the file said. “He shot out viral programs called Dark Spores. Propose of them was never discovered. Ryo was target, but Ken blocked. The Dark Spore…”
Ryo stopped it.
“Why did you stop?” asked Cyberdramon.
“It was going in a different path,” Ryo said. “It started to give me ideas of my past.”
“Before being a clone?” asked Cyberdramon.
“Before that and about the memories that I had lost.” said Ryo sadly.
Cyberdramon sighed.

They left and headed to the right of the Data Port. The mysterious Digimon followed. Another Digimon followed them both.
‘This is bullshit.’ Ryo said to Cyberdramon.
‘I know,’ Cyberdramon said back. ‘But what can we do? I too want to learn. However, our access is limited. Could it be possible that it was the only file accessible to us?’
‘I hope not.’ Ryo said bluntly.
The mysterious Digimon got in closer. Cyberdramon picked him up and attacked.
“Desolation Claw.” attacked Cyberdramon.
His energy blades cut down the tree that the Digimon hid.
“Okay, okay, I give up.” the Digimon panicked.
Ryo and Cyberdramon looked at him.

“Tentomon, an insect Digimon with electric powers,” D-Reaper reported. “His Spark Shock is strong for a Digimon his size.”

Tentomon looked at them with fear.
“Please don’t delete me.” Tentomon begged.
Ryo walked up to him.
“I’m not going to hurt you,” Ryo said. “And neither will Cyberdramon.”
Tentomon looked at them.
“Oh thank God,” Tentomon said. “I thought you were going to delete me,”
Ryo smiled.
“I was following you two when you first entered Thunder Domain.”
“Why?” Cyberdramon asked.
“You are a dragon android. So, I thought you were from Steel Domain.” Tentomon said bluntly.
“We’re clones,” Ryo said. “We are not from… the Steel Domain.”
Tentomon looked at them. He moved in close to Cyberdramon.
“Buzz off.” Cyberdramon snapped.
Tentomon panicked and flew away from Cyberdramon.
“Anyway,” Tentomon said. “I have two things to say.”
Ryo and Cyberdramon listened.
“First, beware of the spy from Steel Domain,” he said. “Second, there is a Digimon that can tell you about Cyberdramon’s rebirth. It may be valuable.”
“Where is he?” Ryo asked.
“Follow me,” Tentomon said. “You’ll be pleasantly surprised.”
He flew off as the two followed.
‘Could he know about the DDNA?’ Ryo asked Cyberdramon.
‘No fucking clue.’ Cyberdramon shot back.
They continued as the Digimon looked from the shadows.
“They are leading me to the one I seek.” He said evilly.

The group traveled threw the city. They saw it was full of Energy Digimon. Then again, this is Thunder Domain.

They continued to a small building. It seemed somewhat rundown.
“This is it.” Tentomon said.
“It is?” Cyberdramon and Ryo said at once.
“My good friend is in here.” Tentomon said entering.

They entered and saw it was full of hologram candles and lightning bugs.
“Weird.” Cyberdramon said plainly.
Ryo nodded.

They walked into the next room. There was a Digimon and a slave girl. The slave girl looked… familiar. The Digimon spoke.
“My name is Silyphmon,” he said. “I am the Digimon partner of the Digidestined Yolei.”
“So?” Ryo asked.
“Yolei is the mother of this young woman,” Silyphmon said looking at her slave. “Yolei is also the wife of Ken Ichijouji.”
‘Again with this Ken Ichijouji.’ thought Ryo.
Cyberdramon looked at the slave then at Silyphmon.
“What’s her name? What do you know about me?” Cyberdramon demanded to know.
“Subtle, isn’t he?” said the slave girl.
Silyphmon smiled. He patted the slave’s head.
“You remind me then Yolei was your age,” Silyphmon said. “She was cute for a 19 year old. Of course, she didn’t have your sized boobs.”
“Thank you master.” the slave girl said.
Silyphmon looked at the guys.
“It is well known to most to rename a slave,” Silyphmon said. “After all, she gets 40 Digidollars an hour to be my slave.”
Cyberdramon was confused.

“Sorry,” Ryo said. “I have nothing.”
“You do have one thing to give.” Silyphmon said.
“What?” Cyberdramon asked.
“You’ll see.” Lime said giggling.
“Ryo, you started as a Digidestined,” Silyphmon said started tell. “Millenniummon was destroyed and part of him stayed with the Digiegg as the Dark Spore forced Ken to make Kimeramon. It was Millenniummon’s plan to rebuilt Kimeramon. Once made, Ki-meramon seemed to go wild. Indeed he wasn’t. He planned to DNA digivolve with a Machinedramon to return to his evil form. With the DDNA within Cyberdramon was the final component to digivolve to MoonMillenniummon, the form he was meant to be. You and Ryo found out and decided to leave. Part your choice and part forced. Ryo and Cyberdramon understood what he said. Lime was fast asleep. She awoke as soon as the talking stopped.
“What happened?” Lime asked in a drowse tone.
“Just like her mother,” Silyphmon said happily. “She was the one that sold me Lime.”
Ryo would have been surprised. Now he was too confused to act.
“Master paid 150 Digidollars for me,” Lime said. “That was 15 years ago.”
Ryo started to calculate.

Silyphmon smiled.
“I am thankful of the info you gave,” Ryo said. “I only wish I can give.”
Silyphmon smiled.
“Believe me,” Silyphmon said. “You’ll return the favor.”
Ryo and Cyberdramon gave a Japanese bow then left.

Once outside, they were as lost as can be.
“He was helpful.” Cyberdramon said.
“I know,” Ryo said. “But what did you think he meant by we’ll return the favor?”
Cyberdramon sighed. As they walked off, they got an earful explosion sounds.
“What’s going on?” Ryo said.
Cyberdramon looked and decided to use his upgraded senses. He got a fix on Tentomon and one other.
“Ryo, this way.” said Cyberdramon.
Ryo looked as Cyberdramon raced at a high speed. Ryo ran after him. They wondered what was going on.

In the back of the building, Tentomon was fighting this odd tank/dragon Digimon.
“Spark Shock.” attacked Tentomon with a bolt from his back.
The Digimon took the hit and laughed. Ryo and Cyberdramon looked and saw the Digi-mon.
“Are you the one from Steel Domain?” Ryo asked.
“I am.” The Digimon said.

“Tankmon, a Military Digimon, they are known for heavy armor and powerful weapons,” D-Reaper reported. “Special Attacks: Dragon Rocket and Fire Arms.”

“My Master of Steel sent me to cripple some of the stronger Digimon here,” Tankmon said evilly. “But seeing a Cyberdramon makes my mission all that sweeter.”
“You think you can defeat me?” growled Cyberdramon.
Tankmon didn’t answer. Instead, he powered up and change tackled Cyberdramon. Cy-berdramon took the hit knowing he was stronger. He was wrong. Tankmon tackled Cy-berdramon through a wall and into a big empty room. Ryo can shortly. Tankmon looked for Cyberdramon, not caring about Ryo.
“Come out, come out, wherever you are,” Tankmon played.
Cyberdramon was in a dark spot. He needed to know why he was weaker than a Cham-pion Level.
“If you’re not going to come on your own,” Tankmon said. He lifted his arms. “Then I’m going to force you out. Fire Arms!” he started to shot up the entire building. He shot at random.
That forced Cyberdramon out. He tackled Tankmon with fury. Oddly, Tankmon only moved three feet.
“Nice try,” Tankmon said. “But that was totally pointless.”
He used an uppercut on Cyberdramon. That did a lot of harm to Cyberdramon.

As he fell back, Ryo started to get mad.
“Damn it, you son of a bitch.” shouted Ryo.
Tankmon looked at him.
“What did you call me?” Tankmon said.
“You hear me you asshole,” Ryo shouted. “I cannot understand why a Champion Level as weak as you can beat Cyberdramon.”
Tankmon faced him as Cyberdramon started to get up.
“Ryo…” Cyberdramon said weakly.
Tankmon was very pissed off.
“I do not know who you think you are,” Tankmon said. “But now, you’re going to be a memory. Dragon Rocket.” he attacked with his cannon.
Ryo saw the missile heading his way.
‘Time to figure some new powers.’ thought Ryo as he focused.
The missile was only seconds away when Ryo sliced it. The others were shocked to see that.
“How… how…” Tankmon said in shock.
Within Ryo’s hand was a sword.
“Like it?” Ryo asked. “I can use my mind to form weapons.”
Tankmon was confused and mad. As Tankmon tried to figure it out, Ryo attacked.

With a faster than sight speed slash, Tankmon’s machinegun arms fell off then deleted.
“NOOOOO!” he yelled.
Ryo smiled and slashed Tankmon. Tankmon sparked and exploded into data particles. Cyberdramon got up as Ryo’s sword vanished.
“That was impressive.” Cyberdramon complimented.
Ryo nodded. He looked around.
“Where’s Tentomon?” he asked.
Cyberdramon tried to sense him.
“He must have left,” Cyberdramon said. He listened into a different sound. “And I think he should too.”
Ryo listened and agreed.
“To where?” asked Ryo.
Cyberdramon walked out.
“I have no idea.” He said bluntly.
