Inhibitions

by Chibi Renamon

"Don't be so stubborn, Yolei!" Hawkmon shouted, waving his dark red wings to float next to his partner, who was still busily sorting through her surprisingly huge collection of skirts. Yolei stopped her search briefly, giving Hawkmon a look. Clad only in her white slip and a matching bra, she was radiating an irritatingly cute mix of sexiness and authority.

"You won't stop me, and you will not come with me!" The DigiDestined of Love and Sincerity finally snapped, making Hawkmon blink. The bird Digimon landed on a chest of drawers and took a deep breath. He hated it when Yolei was like this.

"B-B-But it's dangerous!" the bird shouted after a few seconds of stunned silence, hopping around on the small drawer and waving his wings to emphasize the importance of his words. "You're entering deep water there, it's a foul pit, filled with predators who're just waiting for a young, innocent girl to stumble into their realm!" he whispered and crouched low in a bad imitation of some generic wild animal.

"Look Hawkmon. We're talking about a nightclub here. It's not as if I'm walking into the Emperor's base or into Myotismon's castle." Yolei informed the still-crouching Hawkmon and gives him a light slap on his beak. "Besides... who says that I don't want to have some wild beast, hm?" she added with a smirk that made Hawkmon gasp. "I haven't had any fun ever since I broke up with Ken."

"Oh Yolei..." the noble bird sighed and rubbed his beak lightly. "I know how Ken hurt your emotions... but jumping into bed with a complete stranger isn't the right way to deal with your pain." he whispered, placing a wing on Yolei's bare shoulder.

"I never said I'd jump into bed!" the now enraged girl hissed, giving Hawkmon an ice-cold stare which would have sent MaloMyotismon running home to his mother, crying like a small child. But Hawkmon held the stare for a few moments before finally giving in.

"I'm just worried about your safety... I'm still your partner. Your protector." he whispered quietly, feeling like some old, unneeded piece of hardware.

"Okay okay. I've got an idea." Yolei muttered after a few seconds and marched over to her computer table. After moving a few piles of garbage (or "important computer material" as Yolei called it), she threw a small item to Hawkmon, who caught it with his wings.

"What's that?" the confused bird asked, holding up the tiny device. The device basically consisted of a tiny display and a single button. "I bet Tentomon would be laughing his ass off if he saw me like this.", Hawkmon thought to himself after realizing that even this small device is an unsolvable mystery to him.

"It's a pager. You can perch near the club and I'll contact you if I need your help." Yolei offered and cocked her head, hoping that this would be enough to get Hawkmon out of her way for the evening. After giving the pager a frown, Hawkmon nodded and gave her a warm smile. When the bird had finally left the room, Yolei took her black miniskirt out of her closet and grinned. "Yep... predators everywhere..." she purred quietly as she slipped into her tight weapon of seduction.

A few hours later, Yolei opened the door to the Dragon's Den. The low beat of the music coming from inside made her shudder in anticipation. While being one of the newer clubs in this part of Tokyo, the Dragon's Den had quickly become one of the better-known establishments in town. Unlike most other clubs or bars, the Den served many sorts of customers by varying the club's theme on a semi-weekly basis. At the moment the club was running its default theme: A dark nightclub with moderately-paced trance music. " Just the perfect setting to leave all your worries behind..." Yolei observed and smirked.

It didn't take Yolei long to blend in. After stashing her purse and her cell phone in a small locker, she had done a quick scan of the club. Unlike most local clubs, the Den was situated in a very large room that could be split up using portable walls. Tonight, the room was practically free of walls, with just a few tables and the bar at the outer walls. Yolei had danced a bit, but stopped when the area became too crowded. "Now... to find me somebody who can buy me a drink..." she thought and adjusted her tight miniskirt and her tank top while walking to the bar.

"So you really fought MaloMyotismon?" the young man next to Yolei asked and paid for another scotch. Leaning against the counter and watching the crowd dance, Yolei nodded.

"Yep... just me and my friends..." Yolei muttered, not really paying any attention to the guy next to her. "He just wants to hear a good story... they all just want to hear stories...", she thought and suppressed a sigh. "Isn't there anybody who is actually interested in Yolei Inoue, a young girl craving for some FUCKING LOVE?", she asked herself and gritted her teeth. A quick tapping on her shoulder made her snap out of her daydream. "Hm? What is it?" she asked, giving her 'sponsor' a look.

"Isn't that one of your world-saving friends?" the young man asked, pointing at dance floor. Yolei frowned, trying to figure out what he was pointing at. Her eyes scanned the dancers, but no other DigiDestined were in the crowd. Just when Yolei wanted to tell her fan that he had made a mistake, she noticed the group of well-built men in one of the far corners. At a first glance, they seemed to be celebrating among themselves, but as the people moved a bit, Yolei realized that they were standing around a familiar figure.

"Fuck..." Yolei muttered, her eyes widening in shock. Without even thinking about it, she loosened the tiny key chain that held her locker key to her wrist and threw the key to her surprised neighbor. "PIN code for my cell phone is 4862, dial the 'PAGER' entry." she hissed even as she began to work her way through the crowd. "I pray that I'm wrong. Oh please let me be wrong. It just can't be the way I saw it!", Yolei silently hoped and forced people out of her way.

"Damn... just look at her..." Yolei could hear one of the men mutter and laugh when she finally arrived at the group. The DigiDestined counted 6 men, all of them almost a head taller than she was. None of the men noticed her as she slowly circled the group to get a glimpse at the figure in the middle.

"What a drunk slut..." another man commented and moved a bit, giving Yolei a closer look at the 'drunk slut'.

"Dammit..." Yolei cursed under her breath and shoved one of the men away. "KARI!" she shouted, ignoring the protests of the group for the moment. Her entire attention was focused on her good friend, who was leaning against one of the men, looking barely conscious. Yolei's shout seemed to wake the fellow DigiDestined up, though, and Kari opened her eyes a little bit.

"Y...Yolei...?" Kari mumbled, moving away from the man supporting her and towards her friend. The DigiDestined of Love gasped when she saw how sluggish Kari's moves were, and for a second she feared that her friend had been drugged. But with each step, the smell of alcohol became stronger, and Yolei realized that Kari simply was drunk beyond belief.

"No... this just can't be... not Kari...", Yolei thought and quickly moved forwards to support her drunk friend. "Come on... let's get you out of here..." she whispered, praying that Kari wouldn't collapse on the way.

"Hey... no fair... your little friend just wanted to entertain us a bit..." a third man weakly protested, but Yolei's well-trained glare made him raise his hands in defeat. "Hey... just sayin'..."

The heir of Love and Sincerity grunted as Kari leaned heavily against her and put her head on Yolei's shoulder. The more awake DigiDestined had to hide a smile. "Well... I wanted somebody to accompany me...", she thought as she dragged the barely conscious Kari towards the large exit.

"Yolei!" a male voice shouted, making the burdened girl groan. "Here's your stuff!" the voice continued, and after a few seconds Yolei could see her fan coming towards her with her purse. Even while the girl grabbed her bag, the young man rushed to her side and helped her to support Kari.

Together they finally managed to drag Kari out of the club. Yolei gritted her teeth as the cool night air made her shiver. She had planned to be brought home in a nice and cozy car, but apparently fate had other plans for her. "YOLEI!" an alarmed voice could be heard from above, and the DigiDestined sighed.

"If Hawkmon gives me one 'I told you so', I'm going to surgically remove his beak...", the DigiDestined thought as the concerned bird Digimon lands next to her. But she kept that thought to herself and instead said, "Hawkmon, I need a ride.".

"Gawd... is that really Kari?" Hawkmon whispered, giving the dead weight at Yolei's side a critical look. His mind refused to accept that the drunken girl in the gray jeans and the tight shirt was really the DigiDestined of Light. "What happened to her...?" he breathed and shook his head in disbelief.

"I'm not sure... but we have to get her home... she's wasted." Yolei reminded her partner and raised her D3 Digivice. Hawkmon gave her a quick nod and quickly moved to a vacant parking space. "Digi-Armor... ENERGIZE!" Yolei shouted, making the air around Hawkmon glow with pure, digital energy.

"Hawkmon... Armor Digivolve to..." Hawkmon shouted as his body grew both in size and strength. "Halsemon... the Wings of Love." he finished and stretched his new body. When Yolei and Kari slowly moved towards him, he quickly sank into a crouching position to let his partner load the unconscious Kari onto his back before she climbed on herself. "Where to, Yolei?" Halsemon quietly asked.

"To my apartment. I don't want to bother the Kamiyas with this." Yolei whispered back and patted Halsemon's side. She could already feel Halsemon's muscles tense, but quickly hissed a "No, wait!" before he could take off. Ignoring her partner's confused sigh, she leaned down to her nameless fan, who was still standing next to Halsemon. "Thanks for your help..." breathed into his ear and gave him a quick peck on the cheek before burying her stiletto heels into Halsemon's flanks. Letting out a startled roar, Halsemon rose onto his hindpaws and then took off into the night.

"Gawd... my thighs still hurt..." Hawkmon groaned and sat down on the couch, giving Kari a look. The drunken girl was halfway curled up, looking very miserable. "So you have no idea why Tai's cute, little sister has drunk enough booze to knock out ImperialDramon?" he asked loud enough for Yolei to hear him.

"Not a clue..." Yolei's voice came out of the kitchen. "I already told you that I found her AFTER she got drunk. Poor girl almost ended up with six guys at once..." she continued, making Hawkmon smirk. The situation was too serious to point at trivial irony, though. "Whatever made her drink that much... I'm quite sure that she'll never do it again." Yolei muttered as she came out of the kitchen, carrying a glass filled with a gray, barely fluid substance.

"Oh dammit, not... The Stuff!" Hawkmon groaned, covering Kari's mouth with one wing. He had feared that Yolei would mix Kari her typical 'Inoue Hangover Aftermath Special' drink, but seeing the foul fluid live made his stomach turn. "Have mercy... if you give her that crap, she'll most likely drop dead instantly... if she's lucky..." he begged, but Yolei only gave him a smirk.

"Let me get this straight: One of you will drink this stuff. Your choice." the DigiDestined offered and watched Hawkmon shudder. "And one way or another, she'll vomit anyway. This just lets her take care of things in one clean rush." she quickly added. Hawkmon frowned, still staring at the grayish substance. Then he gulped.

"Oh well... sucks to be you, kiddo..." he muttered into Kari's ear. "But you'll thank Yolei for this... someday... in the far-away future..." he whispered and hopped off the couch so that his partner could do her 'duty'. He could feel his stomach rebel when Yolei began to force-feed Kari the mix. Long seconds of silence passed as more and more of the gray fluid flowed from the glass into Kari's mouth. The drunken girl was conscious enough to swallow when she felt her mouth fill with the mix, thus sealing her own fate.

The glass was almost empty when Kari's eyes flew open with a start, reminding the bird Digimon of various zombie movies. But unlike the undead, the Destined of Light moved swift and fast, dashing to the toilet, guided by primal instincts. Hawkmon grimaced when he heard the tell-tale sounds of a poor girl throwing up into the toilet for the very first time. Yolei sighed and began to walk to the source of the sounds, giving Hawkmon a glance over her shoulder. "Do me a favour and fly over to Gatomon. Tell her what's going on and come back with a fresh set of clothes." she demanded, and Hawkmon nodded quickly.

After a few cycles of throwing up, flushing and mumbling "Just let me die..." Yolei was able to guide Kari into her bedroom. The groaning girl instantly crawled onto the mattress and closed her eyes, looking like a typical party roadkill. The orchid haired Destined sat down next to the whimpering girl and gently placed Kari's head in her lap.

"Poor Kari..." Yolei whispered as she gently stroked her friend's face. Brushing Kari's cheek with two fingers, she couldn't help but smile. "She might just have vomited into my toilet, but somehow Kari still looks like an angel when she's asleep...", she silently observed, caressing the unconscious girl's face. Giggling quietly, she let her index finger travel down Kari's nose. "So cute..." she whispered.

"You find drunk girls cute?" Hawkmon asked, making Yolei shriek. The bird of love cocked his head when he realized that Yolei was blushing crimson. "Did I interrupt you with something... umm... important?" he asked, trying not to think what Yolei's blush is suggesting. "No, my partner did NOT take advantage of Kari's current state!", he told himself quickly, but somehow failed to fully convince himself.

"Haw-HAWKMON! What are you doing here?" Yolei stammered, praying that Hawkmon hadn't seen her stroke Kari's face. "Jeez, why am I so nervous? I just admire-NO! I just... just... touched her face! Nothing more! It's not as if I thought anything sexy about Ka-", Yolei's thoughts raced, but suddenly came to a grinding halt. "Did I...?"

"Well, I live here... and I got Kari's fresh clothes..." the hawk of Sincerity replied and held up the bag Gatomon had given him. "Gatomon's worried, but she was relieved to hear that Kari's not lost or hurt. She told me that Kari left without leaving any sort of note." he went on, even though Yolei didn't seem to hear him.

"Hmmm? Oh... oh yeah... well done, Hawkmon..." Yolei whispered, stroking Kari's hair absentmindedly. Taking great care not to move Kari too much, Yolei stood up and placed Kari's head on her pillow before leaving the room together with Hawkmon.

"Gawd... Photons... shut up..." she weakly thought. One of her arms - she assumed it was her arm even though she couldn't really feel or control it - waved weakly at the bright intruder. It took her a few moments to assign a name to it. Sun... yes, that sounded fitting. She weakly nodded; the sun was too bright. And it was shining directly into her eyes. "Okay... now comes the hard part... name... my name...", she thought, frowning lightly. "Kari...?" she mumbled, testing the sound of the word. The name sounded right somehow, and she... no... Kari nodded in approval.

Groaning weakly, Kari stumbled out of the bed. Leaning against a wall, she gave her former resting place a look. It didn't take her long to realize that this was NOT her own bed. "Crap..." Kari muttered, trying to remember where she was or how she got here. "Think... think... last night... where did I- the Den... I went to that bar and then...", Kari thought before covering her mouth to prevent herself from screaming. "Oh my fuggin GAWD! I danced for those guys... and then... then...", Kari desperately worked her memory, trying to remember what had happened next, even though her waking up in a strange bed was a blunt hint at what might have happened.

Kari slowly opened the door of the bedroom, hoping that nobody noticed her. She tried to ignore the fuzzy feeling in her head, guessing that it was just a hangover. Her first, and judging by the feeling, also her last if she could help it. Staying close to a wall, she moved towards what looked like the apartment door. "Steady... steady... just keep going... one foot after another...", she tried to coordinate her actions. "Once I'm outside, I'll just try-"

"Oh, good morning!" a male voice coming from behind her made Kari scream in surprise. She reflexively tried to face the person behind her and turned around. She realized too late that sudden movements were not a wise thing to do while suffering from hangover. The room began to spin in at least three directions at once, and Kari lost the last bit of control she had had. Grunting loudly, she hit the floor, cursing herself for getting into such a mess. "Oh damn... YOLEI! YOLEI! COME QUICKLY!" she heard the voice shout and groaned. Lacking the strength and willpower to move on her own, she simply lay still until she could feel hands guiding her first into a sitting, then a standing position. A female voice kept scolding the male voice while Kari was being led into the kitchen.

Finally Kari slumped into one of the chairs next to the kitchen table and let out a sigh. After a few seconds, the owner of the female voice sat down on the other side of the table, and Kari gasped when she recognized the face. "Y...Yolei...?" she whispered, and the orchid haired beauty nodded. "What... are you... doing here?" Kari asked, putting her arms on the table to support her.

"I found you in the Den... you had been very drunk and looked as if you could use some help." Yolei whispered and reached out to touch Kari's hand. "I've never seen you like this... what... I mean... why..." she asked, not sure how to properly voice her thoughts. She blinked when she heard Kari sobbing. Yolei looked up and saw tears running down Kari's beautiful face.

Kari shook her head slowly, recalling why she had gone to the Den in the first place. The light touch of Yolei's hand was all that kept her from simply collapsing into a pitiful heap. "I... I saw Davis... and TK yesterday..." she mumbled and bit her lower lip as her mind traveled back to the restaurant where she had seen the two young men. She had seen them from the street through the large window... "...and they... they were... together..." Kari wept even as Yolei's grip tightened a bit.

"Together... what are you talking about...? You've dated both of them for almost an year, I don't see what your problem-" Yolei began to question, but her voice failed her when she saw Kari's hate-filled glare.

"They were KISSING EACH OTHER!" Kari roared, pulling her hand away violently. She couldn't believe how Yolei could be so oblivious and insensitive. "Easy... she couldn't know that...", her consciousness scolded her, but Kari was too angry to listen to her voice of reason. Pushing her chair away, she jumped to her feet... and instantly cursed herself as the room began to spin again. Moments later she hit the floor, still cursing Davis, TK, Yolei, herself and everybody she could think of.

"Kari!" Yolei yelped and dashed to the fallen girl's side. She quickly sank to her knees and put one hand under Kari's head to support her a bit. "Oh Kari... what have they done to you..." she whispered, stroking the fallen girl's face with her hand. "Men have no taste... how could they ever deny you...?" she asked, and Kari gave her a weak smile.

"If I had your looks, Davis wouldn't be TK's bitch now..." Kari replied and snickered briefly at the implied mental image. She stopped snickering when she noticed Yolei's frown.

"It's not all about looks..." the orchid haired DigiDestined muttered and looked down. She sighed when she felt Kari's hand on her side. "Ken left me because of some hip fangirl." Yolei whispered.

Kari bit her lower lip. How could Ken leave a great girl like the cute DigiDestined with the shoulder-length hair? "Yolei, I..." Kari started before her mind had a chance to intervene. "What am I doing...?", she asked herself even as Yolei gave her a surprised look. She gulped. "I... I wouldn't leave you." she whispered, feeling her cheeks becoming hot.

Yolei gasped. Kari's words of course could have been an innocent remark, but the butterflies in her stomach and Kari's blush made her doubt it. "K-Kari..." she breathed, not knowing what to reply to this. The DigiDestined realized that she didn't have to reply at all, thanks to her own blush, which was most likely even worse than Kari's.

"Did I somehow get sucked into the Twilight Zone?", Hawkmon asked himself, staring at Yolei and Kari, who were apparently holding a Blushing Contest. "Okay... I don't need the power of the Crest of Love to realize what's going on here... but... KARI?" he thought and shook his head violently. "YOLEI?" he asked loudly, startling both young women out of their trance. "I'm going to get some air. Should I give Kari a lift back home?" he offered, determined to end this ridiculous scene for the moment. "Gatomon is missing you..." he added when he realized that Kari was hesitating.

After having flown Kari to the Kamiya apartment, Aquilamon slowly circled the Dragon's Den, flying high enough to avoid being seen. "I don't mind Yolei becoming a lesbian, but this change is a bit too radical to be shrugged off as 'desperate urge to get some love'." he muttered, finally feeling his strength fade away. De-digivolving back to Hawkmon, the bird slowly glided down towards the backyard of the large club. He turned around quickly after his landing to make sure that nobody was around to see him. "So far, so good." he whispered and turned to the door.

"Security Lock... I hope that one Feather Strike will be enough...", Hawkmon thought after giving the door a brief look. He put one wing against it, as if to check for hidden traps. When the door slowly and completely anticlimactically opened, he blinked. "Okay... that was lame..." he whispered, raising an imaginary eyebrow. Holding his breath, he entered the dark club. Following a few dusty, dimly lit corridors, the hawk of Love finally arrived in what appeared to be a kitchen. He frowned when he noticed all the open drawers and cabinets. "This might be worth a look...", he thought to himself and carefully walked into the large, well-lit room. "Okay... if I was a fishy secret, where would I-", he thought just before a sigh made him whirl around in shock.

Readying a Feather Strike without even wasting a conscious thought on it, Hawkmon turned to face whoever had tried to sneak up on him. A tall figure was towering above him, holding a large, metallic object high above his head, ready to strike. Having seen way enough, Hawkmon squawked and dived away from the attacker. "Hawkmon, wait!" the man suddenly hissed, making the bird Digimon freeze in surprise.

Holding his feather still in a throwing position, Hawkmon gave his opponent a closer look. A quick scan of the body told him that this was no security guard (or a poorly trained one), and the face made Hawkmon sigh in relief. "Dammit, Izzy! I almost killed you!" he hissed at the computer genius, who was looking even more afraid than Hawkmon had been. "And take down that frying pan!" he added after taking a closer look at the 'weapon'.

"I doubt that you would've killed me, actually." Izzy replied, quickly regaining his calmer attitude. "You would've gone for the weapon." he said, lowering the frying pan he had grabbed when he had heard somebody coming to the kitchen. "But enough of the friendly smalltalk. What are you doing here?" he asked Yolei's partner Digimon.

"I've come here... well... because of some weird things that happened tonight after Yolei visited this club." Hawkmon answered, feeling stupid for breaking into a club just because of a silly feeling. Then he blinked. "What are YOU doing here?" he asked sharply, cocking his head. "I knew it... something IS going on...", he thought when he saw Izzy avert his eyes.

"The Den hired me to install their major networking system that keeps the club running." Izzy answered, hoping that Hawkmon wouldn't question this explanation, which wasn't even a lie, but also didn't answer the question.

"Oh I see... you install the network... in the kitchen." Hawkmon innocently remarked, watching Izzy sigh. "With a frying pan." he added for the effect.

"Okay okay. I installed the network last week. But I noticed something odd while doing so, and came back to investigate." he whispered, as if fearing that guards might jump out of the dishwasher once the truth was revealed. When he noticed Hawkmon's curious look, he nodded and reached into his pocket to retrieve a small, empty glass tube. He tossed it over to Hawkmon, who caught it and gave it a look. Izzy considered unpacking his laptop to show Hawkmon the scientific report, but instead opted for the faster way of simply telling the bird Digimon about the results. "Don't bother with the fine print unless you know a lot of chemistry. It's an aphrodisiac, basically. I guess they mixed it into the drinks" he muttered, carefully watching Hawkmon's reaction.

"An aphrodisiac? So it makes people more willing to-", Hawkmon thought, then gasped. "Yolei!" he whispered and gulped. "So this makes people have sex with people they don't even like and then they-" he began to babble, but Izzy held up his hand.

"That's the interesting point. It's more than a simply 'Me so horny' drug. Instead it makes people become both relaxed and daring to follow their instincts. You could say... well..."

"...that they lose their inhibitions." Hawkmon finished the sentence, nodding very slowly. "So it just encourages people to do things they want to do, but never dared to do?" he asked weakly, even though he knew the answer. Izzy's slow nod made him sigh. "So Yolei really likes Kari... and Kari likes Yolei... no... loves Yolei..." he realized and shook his head.

"The question is... what do we do now?" Izzy asked, giving Hawkmon a serious look. When he noticed the Digimon's confusion, he sighed. "This drug is not public. It doesn't even have a name yet. I bet it would be classified as illegal though, and it would make some big and ugly headlines." he explained, and Hawkmon frowned visibly. "Yolei has met somebody, hasn't she?" Izzy finally asked, and Hawkmon gave him a sad look.

"Oh yes she has... she has met the cutest partner she could possibly find, and the affection is mutual..." he whispered and shook his head. "My little girl fell in love with Kari."

Izzy raised an eyebrow, not sure what to say. The thought of Yolei dating Kari sounded ridiculous, even though he easily admitted that they would be a cute couple. Taking a deep breath, he looked at the cupboard he had opened before Hawkmon joined him. Inside it were cartons filled with more of the subtle drug. After giving Hawkmon a last look, he nodded. "Help me get the cabinets in order again. We don't want to make people suspicious."

Hawkmon blinked. "He's willing to keep this down to ensure Yolei's and Kari's happiness?", he asked himself, feeling a bit guilty, but relieved. He quietly moved to the cupboard next to Izzy, who was already aligning pans and other items. "Thank you, I'll never forget this." he suddenly whispered, giving Izzy a warm smile.

"I'm home..." Hawkmon announced as he came in through the open balcony window. When nobody answered his call, he frowned and took a look at the clock. It was ten in the evening, and Hawkmon felt guilty for spending the day with Izzy. But he had owed it to the young genius, who was now the only one to share their secret. Shaking his head, Hawkmon walked into the kitchen and found a small note. "Dear Hawkmon. I'm sorry, but I couldn't wait for you to get home. I'm out in the Den with Kari. I have the feeling that she really is the one to make me whole... I would have discussed this with you, but I already miss her gentle-" he read the note and snickered when he saw that Yolei had written 'touch' before scratching it out. "-nature and her shy smile. See you tomorrow, little birdie! Yolei." he finished reading and sighed happily. "I hope your feeling is right, Yolei..." he whispered and smiled. "Well, I guess since Yolei is the one who is already living in her own apartment, I better get out... just in case that those little lovebirds really lose their inhibitions..."

Meanwhile, a few blocks away, Yolei was having the time of her life... picking flowers. Swaying to the slow tunes of a slow, nondescript jazz song, she let her hand wander over the various flowers in the small box. "Lady, you know that it's quite unusual for a girl to buy one of these..." the salesman told her with a gentle smile. "Normally the guys get flowers for their girls." he added with a wink. Yolei returned the gentle smile and sipped her wine.

"I know... and I want to get a special flower... for my special girl..." she whispered, making the salesman grin sheepishly. Finally she picked a single white rose and gave Kari a longing look. Since both girls had agreed to wear something normal, Kari was sitting alone at the bar, wearing just her normal pants and a loose shirt. Not exactly what most guys were looking for, but that had been the intention of the two girls. She quickly paid the man, giving him a more than generous tip. After placing her glass next to him, she licked her lips and put the rose between them, being careful not to bite down on the fragile flower.

"I hope Yolei comes back soon..." Kari whispers to herself. She had spent the entire day scolding herself for not realizing earlier what a beauty Yolei really was. "And to think that I could have lost her to... Ken!" she thought again, shuddering lightly. "But I should take it easy. We haven't even dated once... and Yolei also seems to be a bit nervous... it's all going so-", she told herself, but a gentle touch on her shoulder made her hold the thought. She slowly turned around on her seat... and gasped. Standing next to her was Yolei, but Kari's eyes focused quickly on the beautiful white rose between Yolei's lips. Even though nothing had really changed with Yolei, Kari couldn't help but think of her friend as a sensual invitation. Not saying a word, Kari slipped out of her chair and followed Yolei, who was leading her onto the dance floor. Not many people were dancing, as the slow jazz only lured out the more romantic couples and not the one-night-stand ones.

Yolei's lip was trembling in anticipation. She was now just inches away from Kari; and after looking deep into her eyes, Yolei simply knew that she was doing the right thing. Gulping lightly, she moved a bit closer to the petite girl in front of her, feeling Kari's small but firm breasts touch her own. Kari let out the faintest hint of a moan, and Yolei took that as her sign to continue. Moving her hips very slowly in the rhythm of the music, she leaned forward and closed her eyes when she could feel Kari's breath.

Kari was doing all she could not to fall to her knees in front of this Goddess of sensuality. She felt both unworthy and honored to be the one Yolei had chosen, and she decided to enjoy this decisive moment, which would most likely mark the beginning of a new chapter of her life. Gathering all her willpower, Kari closed the distance until her lips finally met Yolei's. The waiting girl's eyes flew open, and Kari could recognize both joy and passion, knowing that Yolei could see the same things in Kari's eyes.

Yolei smiled and wrapped her arms around the unresisting girl, holding her close to herself as if fearing that her beloved may vanish if she didn't. Kari giggled softly and became bolder as she pressed her lips onto Yolei's. And a tiny voice in her head told her something she already knew. "Kari is the one I've been looking for." she observed, blinking a tear out of her eye. Yolei let out a muffled moan when she felt Kari's tongue at her lips. Feeling less in control with each passing moment, Yolei lightly parted her lips and instantly felt the warm tongue invade her mouth.

Kari placed her hands on Yolei's hips as she wriggled her tongue past the rose, which was still between Yolei's lips. She then pushed deeply into Yolei's unresisting mouth, making the taller girl gasp. Yolei's tongue weakly battled her own, but it was clear that she was giving up ground. At the same time, the two young women moved closer together, leaving not a single gap between their bodies. One of Kari's legs was between Yolei's jeans-clad limbs, and Kari quickly moved her right hand away from the hip it had been resting on. Instead she placed it on Yolei's crotch, squeezing lightly, but demanding; and Yolei broke the kiss to let out a low, barely suppressed moan.

Yolei had to summon all her willpower to resist her urge to strip for her bold lover. She could already feel that her slip was drenched by her arousal, and Kari seemed to know so. The orchid haired girl had to take a step away from Kari to clear her lust-clouded mind; and when she looked up again, she could see that Kari was holding the rose between her lips. Yolei panted, not caring if anybody thought of her as a slut. She could see that Kari was aroused, too. But somehow the smaller girl had won the initiative. After long seconds of waiting and panting, Kari nodded once in the general direction of the exit, and Yolei licked her lips in anticipation.

At the end of the walk from the Den to her apartment, Yolei was willing to strip and to lick Kari's feet on command. The brown-haired girl had managed not only to keep, but even to heighten Yolei's lust and arousal. When the couple had finally entered the apartment, Yolei could feel that her jeans now also had a prominent wet spot between her legs. She panted visibly, looking into Kari's eyes, as if begging for something- ANYthing.

Kari smiled gently, betraying her own desire for the trembling girl in front of her. "My... you're sweaty, Yolei..." she purred, holding the rose under Yolei's chin and slowly raising it. Yolei kept her arms at her side and simply moved along with the rose. "I think you could use a shower... isn't that so?" she innocently asked, and Yolei instantly nodded.

The two women quietly walked into the bathroom, and Kari was pleased to find a quite large shower. "Perfect... even better than perfect..." she thought and smirked. Yolei was already taking off her shirt, revealing a set of well-developed breasts. Kari whistled in surprise when she realized that Yolei hadn't worn a bra. Ignoring her lover's blush, she quickly unbuckled Yolei's belt and opened the jeans. She froze when Yolei's hands somehow found a way to get under her own shirt. Kari let out a quiet gasp when the hands unclasped her bra before retreating.

"I may leave you in charge, but I won't leave you with all the fun..." Yolei purred quietly, making Kari giggle. Getting the hint, Kari took off both her shirt and her bra at the same time, giving Yolei a nice view of her breasts. As Yolei had expected, Kari's breasts were smaller than her own, but at the same time a lot firmer. Both girls now stripped in silence, watching each other as more and more clothes landed on the floor. In the end, both girls stood face-to-face, wearing nothing but their soaked slips.

Kari eyed Yolei slowly, fighting her thoughts of 'High noon' down. Even through the slip, she could see that Yolei's exotic hair color was natural, and she smiled. Following a sudden urge, her right hand swiftly moved up, catching Yolei's left nipple between her thumb and index finger. Her host gasped and jumped slightly, shocked by the initial pain. "You first..." Kari whispered and released the captured nipple when her lover nodded frantically. Kari licked her lips when Yolei stepped out of her slip, presenting herself in her completely nude glory. "Now take off mine." Kari heard herself order and blinked in surprise. But even before she could apologize for her boldness, she felt Yolei's hands pull down her slip and gasped. Looking down at Yolei, who had sunken to one knee to completely take off the slip, Kari turned on the hot water in the shower cabin and waited a short while.

Led by Kari's hand, Yolei stepped into the cabin and moaned when she felt the warm water on her exposed body. She tilted her head backwards and let the water hit her face. The sound of the cabin doors closing behind her made Yolei snap out of her trance, reminding her that for the first time in her life, she wasn't alone in the cabin. Kari's hands reached around her, taking a small washcloth and the shower lotion before retreating again. Yolei held her breath in anticipation, not daring to turn around. It occurred to her that Kari had somehow taken sexual control over her, but in a gentle and subtle way. She actually moaned when Kari moved the wet cloth over her back, leaving a trail of bubbles on her skin.

Just when Yolei relaxed in her position, Kari repeated the movement, this time not using the washcloth, but her bare fingernails, leaving four thin, red lines among the bubbles. Of course she didn't draw blood, but it was more than enough to make Yolei yelp. Still the taller girl didn't turn around, and Kari smirked. She let the cloth travel over Yolei's left side, giving the girl a few moments to realize what would follow.

Yolei's eyes widened as the cloth left her skin. The scratches hadn't hurt, but Yolei wondered if the girl would really- "Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhgh..." Yolei groaned when she felt Kari nails scratch over her skin again. Yolei shook her head. She knew that she couldn't take many more repetitions of this pleasure/pain cycle. After long seconds of waiting, the cloth finally touched her again. "No..." Yolei whimpered when she felt the wet touch on her left breast. Surely Kari wouldn't dare to do this to her. But the journey had just begun as the cloth slowly moved down, over her belly and- "Oh please no... no... not there..." she whined, but the cloth really traveled between her legs, right over her dripping wet slit. Yolei moaned loudly, bucking her hips involuntarily against the rough cloth, but Kari withdrew it before she could give herself any pleasure.

Kari ignored the moaning and trembling woman in front of her for a second. Letting the warm water run over her body, she moved the cloth to her nose and took a deep breath. Instantly her senses were clouded with Yolei's overwhelming scent, and Kari let out a quiet moan. Finally her eyes focused on Yolei's squirming body. Kari licked her lips when she saw the fading, red streaks she had left on her lover's body. "Turn around." she whispered, but knew that her words would be like shouted orders for Yolei. Obediently, the trembling woman turned around. Kari smiled gently when she saw how inviting Yolei looked, water running down her perfect curves, highlighting all the parts Kari wanted to explore. But that would have to wait.

Yolei closed her eyes when Kari lifted her hand and placed her nails on her breast. "You know what I will do now, don't you?" she could hear Kari ask and only managed to nod. She knew that even the faintest touch on her pussy would be enough to send her over the edge, and she guessed that Kari could sense it, too. Hours seemed to pass as Yolei waited for Kari's cruel, but also caring touch. "I love you, Yolei." Kari suddenly whispered.

"And I love you." Yolei breathed her reply. Kari looked down at her hand, which was still resting on Yolei's breast, and smiled gently. Moving swiftly, she let her fingernails leave the skin, tracing the fading path of bubbles with her soft fingertips instead. Yolei shuddered in sheer pleasure as Kari's fingers moved over Yolei's soft mound. Knowing that Yolei's climax was inevitable now, she decided to give her lover the full experience and let her middle finger slide into her. Yolei moaned louder than ever before, grabbing a handhold with her left hand and Kari's shoulder with her right hand to avoid falling down. Kari struggled to stay on her feet, too, but she had the advantage of not orgasming in the slippery shower cabin. When she was sure that Yolei wouldn't trip, she began to slide her finger in and out of the tight entrance, whipping Yolei from one orgasm to the next until the girl finally sank to her knees, panting as if she had just run the tri-state marathon.

Yolei found it hard to catch her breath. She knew that she was kneeling in front of her lover, who had made her orgasm with just a wet cloth and her right hand. "Can't wait to find out what might happen when she decides to use both hands..." she muttered and smiled weakly, watching the water wash away her sweat and her juices. After half a minute, Kari turned off the water and leaned down next to her.

"You can't believe how glad I am. Please... never leave me. Never." Kari whispered into Yolei's ear even as the last water ran down her body. Yolei slowly rose from her kneeling position and gave Kari a loving smile.

"Leave you? I haven't even returned the pleasure yet..." Yolei replied and gave Kari's cheek a quick kiss. Then she became serious again and nodded. "And I would never let you slip out of my hands. It would kill me to see you run away with a broken heart."

After letting Yolei leave the cabin, Kari stepped out slowly instantly being wrapped into a soft towel by her beloved. Looking up at the still nude Yolei, she grinned. "Now... about that 'return the pleasure' part..." she whispered, snuggling up against her partner.

"Oh, don't worry... I'll have you on your knees soon enough..." Yolei replied with a smirk, making Kari wonder if she would be able to keep the initiative this evening...

The End.

Author's Notes:
This lemon has mostly been a quick test of the more accepted writing style for fictional works. And even though the result is basically just a bit of quasi-plotless yuri fun, I'm happy with the way things worked out. ^_^
