Episode 3: Deception and Sadness

The digidestined sprinted forwards towards the unmoving form in the middle of the field, the digimon had seen it and ran towards it followed by their partners whom had trouble to keep up with the digimon. Gatomon searched the ground for any signs and saw the footprints of the Gazimon. She also noticed by his feet was a dozen or so pictures. She slowly picked them up and looked at them before shouting in anger and throwing the pictures to the floor. Yolei looked up at Gatomon before taking the discarded pictures and looking at them. "Oh god." Yolei whispered and passed the pictures on as the rest of the group looked at them before going pale.

"I guess we owe Veemon and apology." Kari muttered looking at Veemon.

"That you do." Veemon stated.

"No you don’t." Tyler’s voice muttered and he looked up

"You’re a traitor." Gatomon shouted a look of betrayal in her sad blue eyes.

"NO I am not." Tyler responded not moving because of the kick from Ken to his ribs that had definitely broken one. "He was using me as a lab rat something called project Shadow or so he said. He attached a dark spiral to my arm in an attempt to control me. not like it worked though it made me uncontrollable that is why I was chained down and the dark spiral didn’t exactly have a lot of life in it and broke after about 30 minutes all the time my conscious mind was screaming at me to stop the actions." Tyler said as T.K and Davis reappeared T.K handing Tyler the spare clothes, which he accepted gratefully and quickly dressed.

"You lie there was no dark spiral on you look." Yolei snapped and threw the pictures in his face. Tyler looked at the pictures before tearing them up. "This is bull shit. There was a dark spiral these pictures were from a fucking digital camera, THEY HAVE BEEN EDITED!" Tyler shouted but seeing the unbelieving looks that he received he threw the shards of the photos to the floor and turned to walk off. "Whatever I guess you all think I am evil why don’t I just go join the emperor then. Not like you would miss me. If I was on his side why would I not have my fucking poké balls? Why would I have been left here? You know what fuck this, fuck you; I guess what he said was correct you aren’t really my friends. I will find a way to save my friends and get back to my world on my own." Tyler called that as he walked off in the same direction as the Gazimon footprints.

"Ok I’m confused what the hell is going on here?" Davis asked as he and T.K had missed out on the majority of the explanation.

"That Davis will take awhile to explain." Kari replied as she looked at Gatomon who struggled to hold her tears back. "Let’s go home." Kari sighed and the digidestined walked towards the portal and vanished back home.

<Real World>

The 5 digidestined reappeared in their high school computer room and quickly went their separate ways all of them thinking different things. ‘How could I have trusted someone like him, he played us all for fools. But he seemed so sad when we all thought he had betrayed us maybe he was telling the truth.’ Kari thought before her mind drifted to thinking about T.K.
