Digimon: The New Revelations

Chapter 1: Enter the Digital World

The time is currently 3 years after Myotismon’s defeat, and both worlds, the real and the Digital worlds, were both peaceful…or so everyone thought. Currently, Kurtz, and his little sister, Vook, were both getting ready for the first day of school.

Vook packed her backpack with the things she had gotten for the first day of school: a box of pencils, and a box of erasers, and 5 notebooks. "Kurtz? Are you ready yet?" Vook was a silver dragon, twelve years old, with light red wings and belly, and stood at 4 feet 9 inches high. She wore a yellow shirt and blue jeans, as well; though no shoes.

Coming out of the bathroom and ruffling a hand through his wet red hair, Kurtz sighed, looking at Vook as drips of water fell down onto the floor. "Yeah, I'm ready." He muttered. Of course, he was dressed; in his school uniform of sorts. Since he was in the higher years, his uniform of sorts was different. He was 15 years old, had green scales, and Violet colored eyes, and stood at 1 meter, 58 centimeters.

He was also wearing a long blue jacket, accompanied by a black shirt and black trousers; the trousers held up by a belt. Moving to a side, he slowly picked up his bag, and slung it around his back. "I guess you're ready too then, sis."

"yep!" she smiled, and put her arms through the straps on the backpack. "lets go then nii-san!" Vook opened the door, and stepped outside. "I can’t wait!" she said excitedly.

Meanwhile, in the Digital World there was a loud scream. "RUN! ITS THE DIGIMON KAIZER!!" screamed a Gazimon, as he fled with a bunch of others.

the Kaizer stood high upon a rock, and cracked his whip, sending a wave of evil rings out over the digital world. the rings attached onto the various Digimon, giving the Kaizer control over them. "soon...the whole digital world will be mine.." he laughed evilly, cracking his whip again.

At Ereth’s house, he had woken up late, and was quickly trying to get ready for school. "Gah! Shit! I'm gonna be late for school again!" he thought, scrambling to gather his stuff as he rushed out the door. Ereth was completely blue, and his wings being a little lighter blue than the rest of his body. His hair was blue as well, but darker then the rest of him. He was wearing a Grey shirt, and Grey pants as well.

"Heh…me either. I just hope the first day isn't a drag like it was last year." Kurtz replied, putting a key into his pocket, and closing the door, following Vook outside.

"Yeah…well it wasn’t so bad for me, last year. I dunno about you though!" Vook said with a small giggle.

"You don’t want to know…" Kurtz sad, sighing slightly and closing his eyes for a second. Suddenly a device on his arm buzzed, and he turned away, pulling up his shirtsleeve to reveal a small device attached to his forearm, which was blinking and vibrating.

"Hey sis, I’ve gotta go. Important meeting to get to. I’ll see you after school!" Kurtz said, and dashed off towards school. "Damnit…what is it this time…" he thought to himself as he ran.

"Alright!" Vook replied, and watched him run off, and around the corner. "heh…he seems like he’s always busy nowadays." She thought, smiling slightly as she continued walking.

She soon arrived at the school, where she saw her friend Ereth sitting on the front steps, panting heavily. "Hey Ereth! Did you wake up late again?" she said, smiling and giggling.

"Yeah…don’t wanna talk about it." He said, sighing. "Oh alright." Vook said, smiling and sitting next to him, waiting for school to start.

Kurtz was already inside the building, and was in the computer lab. He logged on to one of the computers, and opened a small hidden icon, which brought up a window on the computer, which looked like a TV screen. "Digital Gate, Open!" he said, taking the device and putting it in front of the monitor, as he was sucked into the computer completely.

Kurtz re-appeared in front of a TV set in the Digital world, where everything seemed darker. "huh…wonder what the heck happened here…" he said, as he started to search for his Digimon partner, AquaVeemon. As he walked around he noticed a couple strange towers, which were just huge and jet black colored. "damn…something’s gotta be up." He said, gritting his teeth slightly.

About 10 minutes later, he finally found AquaVeemon, who was hiding in a pond she usually went to. "Hey, glad I could find ya Aqua. Do you know what’s going on here?" he asked, looking at the tower again.

"I th-think…" Aqua started, shivering as she stepped out of the pond. "this weird kid has been going around and putting these big towers up everywhere, and then throwing these rings on all the Digimon, making them act weird." Aqua said, shivering and clinging to Kurtz’ leg.

"Damnit…well whoever this kid is I have to stop him." Kurtz said, picking Aqua up and putting her on his shoulders.

"B-but you can't! he’s got like a zillion Digimon on his side! And they’re not just rookie levels either, they’re all Digimon from any level!" Aqua said, shaking her head. "I did see this weird light coming from inside a cave nearby…I think it’s another Crest. I just don’t know which." She said, looking over in another direction.

"Well we can try that…" Kurtz said, sighing. "Where is the cave?" he asked.

"Just over that way. Its not very far." Aqua said, turning Kurtz’ head towards the cave’s direction. "Good. Let’s go then." Kurtz replied, and started walking.

A few minutes later, they arrived at the cave, and walked inside. "This is the one, right?" Kurtz asked, seeing a light on the other side. "Yeah, it is." Aqua replied, nodding and resting her head on top of Kurtz’.

"I wonder what crest it is…" Kurtz said, as he arrived at the end of the cave, where there was a small beam of light shining down on a little white object, which looked like two wings wrapped, with feet on the bottom and a crown on top. "Weird…I’ve never seen this before." Kurtz said, setting Aqua down on the ground next to him.

He walked up and examined it, before trying to pick it up. "Damn! This thing weighs a ton!" he said, and relaxed his muscles after trying to lift it. As he took his hands off though, the object started to glow, as two small lights flew out of it. "What in the…what are those?" he said; but before he could grab them, they shot out of the cave, and towards the TV set where Kurtz came from.

The two lights flew out of the computer in the computer lab, and through the luckily empty hallways. They went straight out the doors and to the front of the school where Vook and Ereth were sitting.

"Man…it always seems like I’m gonna be late…then I have to sit here for 10 minutes before school opens." Ereth said, sighing and kicking a rock.

"Aww don’t worry…at least you have me that you can talk to!" Vook said, giggling.

Just then the two lights shot out the front door, and into the hands of the two young dragons, shocked expressions coming from both of them.

"What in the hell is this thing?" Ereth said, looking at the device in his hand after the light dimmed, which was a small red D-3.

"Huh?!" Vook said, looking at hers as well, which was colored Silver. "what…what is this thing?" she said, examining it all around. "I’ve never seen anything like it…"

Back in the digital world Kurtz and Aqua were shocked by what had just happened. "What in the hell was that?" Kurtz said, scratching his head. "I touch a crest, and it shoots out little lights? That’s never happened before. Even in my previous adventure here."

Aqua shrugged. "I don’t know…it could be anything." She said, shaking her head.

"Well we shouldn’t stay here, or just around here, in case anything happens." Kurtz said, picking Aqua up again and walking out of the cave.

Meanwhile back in the real world, Ereth and Vook walked into the building.

"Jeez…this has got to be the weirdest first day ever." Ereth said, pressing a button on the top of the device, making it blink, and a small light appear on the screen, which was always pointed in one direction, no matter which way he turned the D-3. "Hey, Vook…I think this thing wants me to follow it someplace." He said, tugging Vook’s arm lightly and walking in the direction it pointed.

"Uh…okay…but we don’t have long. Only 40 more minutes till class starts." Vook said, following Ereth. The two kept walking until they reached the computer room, and walked inside. Vook instantly spotted Kurtz’ bag and blinked. "Kurtz was in here…?" she thought to herself.

"What…? I’ve never seen this program on the computer before…" Vook said, looking puzzled. Her D-3 was beeping now, and the light pointing towards the computer. "Eh? My device is pointing at the computer!" she said, and put it up to the monitor. Instantly there was a bright flash of light, and Vook was sucked into the computer in the same way Kurtz had been.

Ereth took his claws away from his eyes after the flash subsided, and looked around. "V-Vook?!" he said, shivering slightly. "Where…where are you?" he continued, but sighed after. He looked at the computer, and was very surprised to see Vook actually IN the computer monitor! "Vook??" he said, looking into the computer’s monitor.

Vook brushed herself off, and looked back at the TV set, seeing Ereth on the other side. "Ereth? Where are you? Wait…where am I?" she said, before looking around, seeing that she was in a forest of some kind, with a darkish sky.

"You’re IN the computer!" Ereth replied, banging on the monitor. "It happened as soon as you put your device up to it…." He continued, before looking at his own device, which was beeping like mad.

"Well…mabey you should try it!" Vook said, looking at her own device, which was beeping at a slower rate, but still pointing in a direction.

Ereth nodded, before putting his D-3 up to the window on the screen. He was sucked into the monitor the same way that Vook did, landing in the Digital World right next to her. "oof! Whoa! That was freaky!"

"Well…this is a weird place…" Vook said, looking around, seeing a few Airdramon flying by and shivered slightly. "whoa…monsters?" she said, watching them fly away.

"Where?" Ereth said, not paying attention to where Vook was looking.

"Oh they’re gone already…" Vook said, helping Ereth up from the ground, and examining their surroundings once more. There was the TV set on top of a stone block, and behind them, a bunch of trees, and a small lake. "Well I do know one thing, my brother could be in here, because I saw his back pack next to the computer, and the little program open, so I wanna look for him…"

Ereth sighed and shook his head. "Well I don’t…I want to get back to school. I don’t want anything to do with this place at all." He said, and turned towards the TV set. "mabey I can get back the way I came…" he said, and put his D-3 in front of the TV, and was sucked back into the real world.

"Well good riddance then! Who needs you!" Vook said, and walked into the forest, towards the pond. She arrived there, and looked around. "well…no signs of nii-san here…" she said, and noticed her D-3 beeping and pointing again. "Man…this thing is always wanting me to go somewhere!" she said, sighing as she followed the D-3’s light.

Kurtz’ device began to beep as well, pointing towards Vook’s D-3. "Huh? Another Digi Destined?" he said, blinking at the sight of his Digivice. He shook his head slightly and walked in the direction of the light.

Vook soon heard another beeping, coming from northeast of her location, and perked her ears up, quickly running towards it. "I wonder what this thing is pointing towards…" she thought, and soon ran into the person that she least expected to see there: Kurtz. "KURTZ?!" she said, shocked in surprise. "how- what- where- how did you get here?"

"Vook?" he said, shocked as well, and motioned for Aqua to hide. Aqua blushed slightly, before nodding and disappearing into a small light, which hid behind Kurtz’ back. "How…did you get here?" he said, and spotted the D-3 in her hands. "and how did you get a Digivice?"

"Digi what?" Vook said, looking at her D-3. "you know what this thing is, brother?" she asked, looking up at him again.

"Damnit…" Kurtz muttered under his breath. "Yes, I do. It’s a Digivice. But…how did you get it?"

"I dunno…it just flew out from behind me and into my claw. It was really bright for a second, but then it just looked like this." She said, holding up the silver D-3.

"So THAT is what those lights were! They were Digivices!" Kurtz said, snapping his claws. "Well…that only means one thing, sis. You’re a Digi Destined."

"Digi Destined…what?" she said, scratching her head. "What do they do?"

"Well I’ll try to put it in a way you’ll understand…when the digital world is in trouble, some force, whether by nature or other forces, activates those Digivices, and they seek out the most worthy beings to return the Digital world, that’s where we are right now, to peace. Get it?" Kurtz said, walking up to Vook and looking at her.

"Uh…yeah…I think so…but how am I supposed to fix whatever’s wrong? Number one I don’t even know what’s wrong, and number two, how would I solve it?"

"Well I don’t know…but I definitely know something is wrong in the Digital World right now…the sky should not be dark, and I have no idea what these strange black towers are." Kurtz said, looking out at the tower that was near them.

"Oh and another thing, my friend Ereth got one too…but he left." Vook said, shrugging.

"Left? What do you mean? Did he run off or something?" Kurtz asked, looking down at Vook again.

"No, no, he just went back through the TV again." Vook replied.

"Oh…good." Kurtz said, sighing and placing his claw against his forehead.

Vook looked down at her D-3, which was still beeping, and pointing towards the cave. "Hey Kurtz, why does my Digivice always lead me somewhere? Like first it pointed me to the computer, then it pointed me to YOU, and now its pointing towards that cave over there." Vook said, pointing at the cave that held the Crest.

"Wait…that cave over there? That’s the one with the Crest that I couldn’t lift…" Kurtz said, scratching his chin slightly. "Well…we can still see if you can lift it, because you ARE a Digi Destined. Come with me, sis." He said, and walked towards the cave.

"Uh…alright?" Vook said, following after him. The two walked into the cave, and soon found the Crest again, which was still in the same place. "Is that it?" Vook said, looking at the object, which was no bigger than Vook’s fist.

"Yeah, that’s it." Kurtz said, standing near it "Come over and try to lift it, okay?" he said, looking back over at Vook.

"Alright…" Vook said, as she moved in front of it, and placed both claws on it. She pulled on it hard, and it instantly came out of the ground, sending the small dragoness reeling backwards. "Wha- HEY!! This thing doesn’t weigh anything!" she said, rubbing the back of her head.

Kurtz looked at Vook in surprise. "Wait a minute…you just easily pulled that out? Hmm…then that Crest was meant for you." He said, walking over and helping his sister up.

A few seconds later, yet another bright white flash came, this time from where the Crest had been. A figure came from the light, shaped like a cat with a long tail. The figure jumped out of the light, making it dim completely. "Hello? Which one of you two just moved the Digimental?"

"Digimental…?" Kurtz said, looking at the object in Vook’s claws. "Is that what that thing is called?"

"Yeah…I’ve been under it for as long as I can remember; waiting for someone to move it. Now which one of you moved it?" the cat repeated.

"Uhm…I did." Vook said, raising her hand, and holding the Digimental up.

"You did? Great!" the small Digimon said, running up to Vook. "I’m Gatomon. Nice to meet you! What’s your name?"

"Uhh…Vook." Vook replied, holding her claw out.

"Cool! Nice to meet you, Vook!" Gatomon said, shaking Vook’s claw happily. "So, you’re the next Digi Destined, eh?"

"Um…I guess so!" Vook said, giggling slightly.

Kurtz sighed, shaking his head. "Being a Digi Destined isn't all fun and games, you know."

"Well…I kinda suspected that, Kurtz." Vook said with a slight giggle. "I know that it’s hard work and all that stuff."

"Well don’t get TOO sure of yourself…" Kurtz said, summoning AquaVeemon back to her normal state. "This is my Digimon, AquaVeemon. I’ve…kind of been hiding her from you and everyone else all this time…"

"Oh…so that’s the little thing that was on your shoulders!" Vook said, smiling. "I don’t care if you hid it or not, brother." She continued, walking up to him. "It’s all right. I won't tell mom or dad. Okay?" she said, looking up at Kurtz and smiling.

"Alright…" Kurtz said, looking away. AquaVeemon though, didn’t look away, as she continued looking down at Vook, blushing slightly, then turning away with Kurtz. "I guess we should go back now…the teachers are probably searching for us." Kurtz said, walking out of the cave.

"Okay!" Vook said, grabbing Gatomon’s paw and walking out after him. "So this…Digital World…place…how long have you known about it?"

"Oh, only a few years." Kurtz said, as the two dragons arrived back at the pond, Kurtz stopping for a moment. "Vook, you’ll have to leave your Digimon here, just until tomorrow, okay?" he said, setting AquaVeemon down, the water dragon Digimon jumping into the lake.

"Oh…okay nii-san." Vook said, letting go of Gatomon’s paw. "I promise I’ll be back tomorrow, okay Gatomon?" she said, hugging Gatomon softly.

"Alright. See you tomorrow, Vook!" Gatomon said, waving and smiling.

"G’bye!" Vook said, as she walked away from the pond with Kurtz. They soon arrived at the TV set, and both warped back into it. Luckily there was no telecommunications class going on, and the classroom was empty. "whew…" Vook said, sighing in relief. "How will we get back to class, though? Neither of us have a pass."

Kurtz reached into his backpack, and took out a slip of paper. "it’s a guidance office pass. I took a few when the secretary wasn’t looking. It’s already signed, so we just have to write our names and the time on it." He said, before writing both their names on it, and grabbing has bag, walking out of the room. "C’mon sis, let’s get this day over with."

The day passed very slowly, Vook constantly thinking about the Digital World and Gatomon. When it was over, she was happier and more excited than ever, waiting outside by the front steps, for Kurtz to show up.

A few minutes later, after everyone had left to go home, Kurtz came out, brushing a claw through his hair. "Alright, ready to go, Vook?"

"you bet I am!" Vook replied, and began walking home with Kurtz.

That night passed by slowly as well, Vook barely getting any sleep while waiting for tomorrow. "I just hope nothing happens to Gatomon…" she thought, remembering how the sky looked In the Digital world. She shivered slightly, before relaxing and falling asleep.
